The Sugah's are besides themselves that she has made a solo appearance. Although, they are also a bit over her "all black" wardrobe.

Is this considered a foreign diplomatic trip since school has never been a place that she visited much? The palace is really going over the top to promote this chick! Did any of the children ask her is they should also drop out of school since she has done so well with zero education?

I don't think they are promoting her - I think they are planning to enroll her in the school and they are tricking her into thinking it is a visit! ;D

Did any of the children ask her is they should also drop out of school since she has done so well with zero education? Funny Scout. Visiting a school for Charlene is a foreign visit. You have to read the Monaco Matin article to get the full picture of how think they are laying it on with building this "Heart for Children" image for Charlene. Once you watch the video (posted at the end of this article) and notice that this con artist does not speak a lick of French, their PR strategy actually looks quite silly - expect to silly people like the sugar loonies whop just drool over the photos. There is no substance to Charlene, thus Monaco will continue to be on the steady decline it has been on for the last several years. Albert does not believe in using anything of substance to turn around his country since it will require work. He is sticking to his image campaign that he has invested on Charlene. Don't you just love how Charlene goes to have an open discussion with the students but haven't bothered to learn their language. She actually expects them to learn English to be able to speak to her. Seriously. Charlene visited the English class to have her open discussion. Oh, the students of course had to submit their questions in advance.
Charlene: "I am proud to be your princess"by Daphne Manuel Saturday, December 17, 2011 In a friendly atmosphere that the Princess Charlene asked the college to speak to her of "their" Monaco, one in which they operate and that they seek.
Visiting the College Charles III, Princess of Monaco proved to listen to children. She offered them to build together the future of the Principality Matinée studious yesterday for Princess Charlene who created emulation in the corridors of the college, Charles III. For if the first lady of Monaco cleaning her appearances, it is a place where you are sure to find it: with the children, investing for their well-being.
Invited to the Christmas mass by Father Bill and Father Genson, chaplains of public education, the wife of Prince Albert II held a meeting before the students of the institution.
So shortly after 9 o'clock the latter, soberly dressed in a black suit, appeared before the entrance to the college, where she was greeted by Christmas carols students 6e13, well voice. Guided by Isabelle Bonnal, Director of Education, by Paul Masseron, Government Counsellor for the Interior and by Marie-Helene Gamba, the principal of the school, Charlene then went in the auditorium, where hundreds of students waiting for the fifth English course increased. A bit shy, young people sang an " All you need is love ", acclaimed by the princess. Before sitting down all around her, ready to attack all kinds of questions during a face to face in private.
"Open discussion" I must say that last week, Princess Charlene reviewed the copies of some of them, which she had asked to speak about what they like or dislike in Monaco and their visions for the future of the principality. "Thank you for your letters and I note that you are very observant, she began, in English. I propose that we have an open discussion."
College students have asked about his childhood in the South African bush, on swimming career, his new life in Monaco. Driven by her Olympic dream, the princess spoke of her journey punctuated with sacrifices, memories mischievous schoolgirl, she loves sports like surfing or rugby and to his new responsibilities. "I try to keep a normal life, she said. I am proud to be your princess."
Charlene then toured the classrooms, moving desks, congratulating the students. She also visited the gym and the pool of Technical and Hotel School before returning to the auditorium, which was celebrated Christmas mass. Smiling, surrounded by children, now is the image of the new Princess of Monaco.

"Smiling, surrounded by children, now is the image of the new Princess of Monaco." And that's all Charlene is about - creating an image! Image is defined as - the character projected to the public, as by a person or institution, especially as interpreted by the mass media. Charlene has decided to create the image of herself as the Princess with a "Heart for Children." Everything thing that she does will be to reinforce that image. There will never be any thing of substance that comes from this woman because she has learned that she will be rewarded and revered for doing absolutely NOTHING! Since she only cares about seeing her photos in print and being worshiped, which she is by flunkies, there is no need for her to do anything that actually requires WORK. This is all Charlene cares about - the photo opp to enhance her new IMAGE

Thanks for the info MyAdia. I really just had to laugh at all this promotion. She really is trying to imitate Kate and William, but what she doesn't get is they are college graduates, visiting St. Andrews was a homecoming not a photo op. There is a photo this morning on the huggpost of Charlene visiting an indoor poor and the caption is royals wear silly clothes. Now there's some great press!

From the day "they" decided that Albert should consider marring her and from the day "they" brought her to Monaco from "South African bush", the Palace has been working on her new image...starting with her physical appearance by changing her features using plastic surgeries and hiring top designers and teams of stylists, make-up artists and hairdressers. Then fabricating her "swimming achievements" and working on her "charitable resume" through cheaply bought "journalists" working for gossip magazines. Poor Albert was the last to join the wagon of "Charlene's worship train", and only after he married her. Before the wedding her treated her like a shit, but now that he had married her he realized it reflects badly on him, so now he is all smiles when with her. I guess someone in the Palace makes sure he gets his "happy pill" every morning with the coffee. Everything about this woman and their relationship is one big PR and building an IMAGE. Now "they" are pushing "Princess Charlene" down Monegasques throats until they will have no other choice but to "love her". Kate and Will didn't have to do any of that or to hire PR teams to advertise their wedding and launch their love story...their love just shined through and Kate's loveliness is so pure that it needed no alternation or fabrication.

OMG, she ONLY spoke in ENGLISH with the kids. This idiot hasn't even learned the language YET. Truly they think this is the best she can do? www.monacomatin.mc/article/monaco/charlene-«-je-suis-fiere-detre-votre-princesse-».716362.htmlYou can hear her in the video. She doesn't even TRY to speak English. Yet her flunkies at the forums SWEAR she speaks perfect French and spoke the the kids in French. It wasn't true! Also, has anyone noticed that the new "Facebook Fanpage" of the COUPLE only features events with Charlene? Albert's done four times the events she has and they aren't even there. Only Charlene...WTH is wrong with Albert?

Charlene paid worshippers seem to be everywhere. Of course she doesn't speak french. Her flunkies always go "I've seen Princess Charlene this morning on Monaco Info, she spoke french with the people, she was so shy, but we all could hear she spoke french with them" HELLO!? Here's an example she doesn't even try to say Bonjour!

No french whatsoever, "Good morning, how are you"? Can't she manage to say "Bonjour, comment ça-va", you know primary school french? But, I guess, if they do reply, then she cannot say anything back, right? They might think that she has mastered the language and bombard her with questions in that strange, foreign language! Shocked, simply shocked...

SMT had mad the below joking comment in the Antigua vacation thread, but I will respond to it here. The Sugahs are more dilusional than ever! One has written regarding Trampolina's visit to Antigua: "... Charlene hopes to bring the music of Antigua to Monaco ..." Huh? A priority right after getting that Starbucks to open! Most of the time Monaco's media is busy doing the palace's PR for them - trying to create an image of Charlene as the Princess with the heart for children. The last sentence in the Monaco Matin article about Charlene's visit to have an open discussion with the children of Monaco (in of course) was this: Smiling, surrounded by children, now is the image of the new Princess of Monaco. [Souriante, entourée d'enfants, c'est l'image désormais de cette nouvelle princesse de Monaco.] All the articles listed the same gushing comments about Charlene and the children's questions to her. But occasionally someone from Monaco comes along (likes this different reporter from Monaco Hebdo) who clearly didn't get the memo that they are forbidden to publish the slightest thing that will shed the true light on their lazy ignorant crass dumb-as-rock princess. so, this one little tidbit about a question one of the young students asked Charlene appeared in the Monaco Hebdo reporter's article 0 that no one else felt the need to publish this question (for good reason). A discussion in English in which the princess, questioned by students, spoke of her swimming career, her role as first lady of Monaco, her passions for sports including surfing and rugby as well as her schoolgirl memories. "I am proud to be your princess," she stressed to the college students sitting near her. Students took the opportunity to address some issues they had at heart. Including the installation of a Starbucks in Monaco, the establishment of a skateboard ramp or the welfare of animals at the zoo. The exchanges rocket carrying the same on the return of uniforms to school.

And when did the students get their replay from CC. When did the Monaco Hebdo write about it?
