Only Grace and Diana have so much pulling power. I doubt that anyone from the new crop will attract so much attention even when they are dead for so many years.

Thanks Myadia, The Barbie Grace dolls are nice and so is the Victoria doll, but the Kate and William dolls, look more like charactures. I think I saw one of Kate in the Blue engagemnet dress. Grace hated that dress she wore when she met Rainier, actually it doesn't look that bad here. They give the Grace dolls a certain poise or attitude--they kind of do look like the way she held herself.

Wonder what will Charlene do to have her own Barbie Dolls? Who will she put pressure on? For the Princess Charlene Barbie Mattel can save money. Here's how. Take a Ken doll and dress it in tube tops, tacky gowns and glue a cigarette to one of the hands. Waalaa!

Gorgeous. Horrid. But is a proof that Bitchlene is going for Grace's hairdos. That doll, btw, is the to Catch a Thief Doll: When are Mattel people gonna do "To a Catch a Prince" Doll?

Does anyone else get the sense that Grace's legacy would have been better served if they retired her title and made her the last true Princess of Monaco? Sure, she may have started out as an American plant in the Southern French landscape but I believe her death had something to do with a shift where she became forever bonded to the pinnacle era or the Golden Age of Monaco. Will there ever be another Grace? Not likely. I think taking away that unreachable apex is a unanimous positive step forward. There are many other titles to choose from, for the Consorts. It would also appease those who'd like to see the monarchy scaled down. I think we'd see a lot less nonsense and what better way to give back to the beautiful American who came to brighten up a pirates' lair?

Dear agentf - brilliant idea, indeed!
... only too late now that Princess Trash became POM. They destroyed sooo much and it hurts to see how they ruin the rest.

I just don't think she'll last long as PoM and a little revisionist history can be applied as seems to be the general practice... For instance, if she's passing herself off as the daughter of a horse breeding family (huge pun somewhere in there), then let's call out "fraud" and get an annulment. Simple as that. Let's hope and pray... Maybe someone will break through the bubble of Albert's inner circle and opens his eyes ... or he get's some sort of enlightment or pressure ... or one morning those amateurs simply forget to put this strange stuff in his tea that makes him see a trashy prostitute* as serene Princess. SOON!!!
* Even she has a title now and a official function: - after 6-7 years in Monaco she is not fluent in French yet (lets consider learning a new language as work) - is totally unable to give even an interview with prepared/ predictable questions - we remember the recent disaster when Albert interrupted - is unable to behave - see: holding hands with other man in public - I'm cautious with blaming anyone for not getting pregnant - HOWEVER: it is obvious that she uses huge of botox and has surgeries ... botox in a womans body is TOXIC for a unborn child! Drinking, partying and having surgery is no way to become mother of a heir ... and isn't that the main task of a Princess?
If attending events one has not organized and spending money one has not earned and travelling for posing with poor little kids for photo shots is NOT considered as work -sorry!- what else does she do? I just can't see a difference to payed escort girl, I simply still can't. What of the things she does makes her a Princess?

As for me, if being a princess is simply a state of mind, I've declared sovereignty on that state and gave it the boundaries of my home. I stopped waiting and bought a Louis XIV artifact and I'll stare and meditate on it and while I may not get divine ascension, I might get inspiration. I'm waiting for my tiara next ;D then I'll be sure to become outright impossible to deal with, that's a promise! Back to Grace though, the only way to immortalize her is to seal off the path to any future CC's by pulling the rug under them and placing a gate between Grace and the posers. In the event of a divorce, I'm sure the title becomes vacant (it is now too, if we want to be literal, but I mean when the post is vacated). Then everyone should hurry, lock the gate and throw away the key, like that marvelous bridge in Paris with all the locks that people have thrown over the key in a promise of eternity. That! would be befitting

That! would be befitting Smart idea agentf Yesterday I coundn't stop to think about what I wrote about prostitutes and I have to say that I was unfair. Some of them where forced into this job, some did blunder into this kind of work (yes: work), some sell their body from free will and like this profession. But Charlene was not forced to stop swimming and not finish High school and nobody held her back from getting some kind of education and a real job - the opposite was the case: Charlene Lynette Wittstock had all the time and opportunities to do so even after she moved to Monaco. She could have shown Albert: Look - I could do without you. Learn languages, finish school, get some ground under her feets. But she didn't. 5 long years! And she wasn't stumbeling in: she wanted to become POM from the beginning. Albert payed her bills and she was his "official companion". That's why many saw/see her as a prostitute - she was/ is there because she is payed for. But the whole crux in this case is: prostitution is a clear deal - not very romantic but at least honnest. While Charlene made Albert think it is LOVE and it is about him. Albert and his team (or Charlene and her team) want to make the world believe in a Fairy Tale and spend a fortune to set up this whole "capital of romance" stuff INSTEAD OF WORKING OUT A STRATEGY FOR THE IMAGE AND COUNTRY! So I officially say to all prostitutes: sorry for having insulted you!It is really not fair to compare Charlene to a prostitute. Unlike Charlene they work. And don't pretend. Pardonnez-moi!!
