I hope so too. He must not have felt un-well for a few days and was putting on quite an appearance for all of the jubilee celebrations. What energy the Queen and Prince Philip have!

an infection of the bladder can happen rather quickly, if you spent the entire afternoon standing on a drafty boat in cold and rainy weather. Especially at 90. It goes to show what caliber the Queen and prince Philip are at their age. And an infection of the bladder is really painful, not like a soar throat that some think is a good excuse....at almost 60 years his junior.....

personally i think kate is WAY to skinny! www.cnn.com/2012/05/30/world/europe/margaret-rhodes-queen/index.html?iref=obinsite i have to wonder if they're still friends? isn't it totally against protocol to talk about the queen? "according to a new account offered by one of the monarch's closest friends, the truth behind the queen's decision to temporarily abandon her people was her overwhelming concern for the welfare of Diana's sons, Princes William and Harry. Margaret Rhodes, the queen's first cousin and one of her oldest companions, revealed in an interview with CNN"

My bestie QE2 has a sore eye. She's one trooper to not just take a little time-out and have a power nap with Philip with a good compress, surrounded by her dogs. I hope she takes a little rest. It's a lot to party like this at any age. www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/06/18/queen-suffers-sore-eye.htmlPS: And I WANT Dita Von Teese's sunglasses.

Apparently, we need a new thread intitled "Canada's Royal Family". Some overzealous Canadians unlike Australia and other parts of the Commonwealth are really pushing the monarchy angle by styling the British Royal Family as Canada's Royal Family. It's not that I'm miffed they stole my thunder ahead of home wrecking Charles & Camilla but who are we kidding people??? Canada is a dominion, a subdomain if you will, are we completely proud of subservience!?! That's an aberration. Witness the pedantism: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Canada#Canadian_Royal_FamilyAustralia must be laughing at us now
