The BRF are definitely on a Monaco frequency, somewhat diametrically opposed though... Here's Kate taking George swimming (with makeup on too!! Ah the similarities!!) and her due date is all wonky. Un de ces jours on passera a la maternité

Prince Charles finally got his baby girl he has always wanted. *rolleyes* IMO a boy and a girl, it's all too perfect, don't you think?! I'm sure the BRF will sell every aspect of this princess... poor thing.

Lmao yeah Charles could have had a daughter with Diana, but his mistress apparently didn't recommended another child..... Oh yes, and it's amazing (gross actually) how they already force gender stereotypes on her, people so excited to see her in pink dresses with curles and puppets *vomits* I'm happy for W&K, but George and his sister will be milked for everything now.

So true. They will be exploited ad nauseum. But for now, it's a happy event. I think generally the monarchy in England has survived the fate of other countries because one) they are willingly being exploited and two) they're such an organic fit with the powers behind-the-scenes that exploit them. So long as the BRF fronts, the backers (literally) have so much more mobility to be up to no good without scrutiny. I wonder if QE2 ever feels hollow. Sigh. I can just see the Middletons marketing this and making a buck. At least with the Wittstocks, they're so unsophisticated that they can be thwarted before anything like that ever happens with the twins. Maybe this is one reason Albert chose so out of left field. But in general, I think princes everywhere and men across the board have got to be educated in their choices in women - ils abrutissent la planète... Shall we speculate on baby names while we wait? I'm throwing in... Caroline. I wouldn't be shocked. Prince Charles finally got his baby girl he has always wanted. *rolleyes* IMO a boy and a girl, it's all too perfect, don't you think?! I'm sure the BRF will sell every aspect of this princess... poor thing.

It's all over, they went home already www.bbc.com/news/uk-32567875Hate to say, the odds are she'll be named Princess Charlotte. Now, THAT... at least with Caroline, the age difference is such that historically there will be no mistaking one another. Now DIANA? That would be a hot potato. Betting Pool

I hope they don't name her Diana. I don't think they will, anyway. Congratulations to W&K! The baby is gorgeous.

I would be very surprised if they called her Diana. IMO The Queen wouldn't allow it anyway - ghost from the past... I'm sure it will be a classic royal name (like they did with George) like Alice, Alexandra, Mary, Victoria. Elizabeth will definitely be one of the names and maybe Frances?

Baby names - my guess Mary Victoria Diana(William I bet will want it in there somewhere), Elizabeth. Or they may skip Elizabeth all together to give it a rest, and the Queen may nix Diana just because of history and the child will be compared to her grandmother anyway. I'm betting a Middleton name will be in the mix somewhere so may be Mary Victoria Caroline Alice. Should be fun to see what they come up with. So now when were the twins getting baptized again? I've forgotten!

What's this emphasis on Alice? It's a gross name. I would be very surprised if they called her Diana. IMO The Queen wouldn't allow it anyway - ghost from the past... lol I'm sure you are not alone... next week May 10 and the show will begin at 10:30. On that date, the twins are exactly 5 months old. Who godparents will be has not been announced.
No not Diana - they will be disinherited by the Queen...

I've heard various reasons for Alice starting with Prince Philip's Mother's name was Alica, and others have said she devoted herself to charitable work when she became a nun and shunned all her wealth. So I think that's why Alice keeps turning up. What's this emphasis on Alice? It's a gross name. I would be very surprised if they called her Diana. IMO The Queen wouldn't allow it anyway - ghost from the past... I'm sure it will be a classic royal name (like they did with George) like Alice, Alexandra, Mary, Victoria. Why is Alice a gross name?! There are several Alices in the BRF: e.g. Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester - the late aunt of the Queen a daughter (Princess Alice of the United Kingdom), granddaughter (Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone) and great-granddaughter (Princess Alice of Battenberg/mother of Prince Philip) of Queen Victoria Alexandra is also quite common: e.g. Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy - granddaughter of George V and cousin of the Queen Princess Alexandra of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha - granddaughter of Queen Victoria Princess Alexandra, Duchess of Fife - granddaughter of Edward VII Maybe they'll call the baby Princess Georgina Alexandra Louise I mean it has to be similar to Prince George Alexander Louis.

The baby is called Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. What a surprise! Well the bookies got it right. I'm not surprised by Diana being part of the name. I guess Charlotte hasn't been used in a while so that may be why they went for it. Now on to the nick names this poor child will end up with. The pressure to be thin, and beautiful and stylish will take it's toll if they aren't careful. I hope they let her go play in the mud away from the press for a long time with only the seasonal photo op. May be that's why they are headed to Amnar Hall. Not a bad idea for the sake of both kids IMO.

The baby is called Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. What a surprise! kinda of relieved that no "Alice" in the name. I always imagine "Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, etc.! Also relieved that NO "Camilla"... hee hee. Glad Diana is remembered... here is a link: www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,20910362_20920211,00.html?xid=email-breakingnews-20150504AM-20920211-hd
