Thank you for the update - I agree the book marker is hilarious! They seem desperate to sell something. Will be nice when like after Christmas it all goes 50% off. Oh the vision of that stamp must make their flesh crawl in the brutal reality.

Nah those greedy people, won't put things on sale, they just keep them in the shop until some idiot buys it. Good thing it's limited edition, that way they might have sold all by the time of their divorce. I think Monegasques would run for divorce souvenirs though

Again, more photos of the souvenirs in the shop - or in the case of the postcards - on the street (which is fitting for these two). I wondered what happened that mad rush of tourists that the Monaco Matin said were begging for souvenirs of this trashy couple. I doubt that these items are selling off the shelf. Everything about Trashlene and Albert is drab boring and un appealing - including these souvenirs. Official souvenir items for the Monaco royal wedding are on display in a store on June 8, 2011 in Monaco. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock of South Africa will be married in Monaco on July 2, 2011 at the Prince's Palace while the following day a civil ceremony will be held in the Throne Room of the palace.

honestly I wouldn't use a postcard with that stamp thing on to send to my friends. Wouldn't want to scare them. tourists want to send proof of the location so they would rather use one with the casino or palace on it. if they had a really nice portrait of them, that might sell as well, but I guess getting one is the problem....

Looking at that pic of the engagement...if Albert would have married Brigitte Nielsen, maybe he would have been more sucessful and world wide known...(lol)

They want to make sure people align the procession route to see Sucker AL and Trashlene ride to Saint Devote Church. They are desperate and the know there is no large interest in this trashy made-for-tv so-called fairy tale wedding. They must know they they cannot count on people coming in droves by themselves. I don't think the souvenirs are NOT selling fast. I am wondering what they are going to do next to assure that hey get a crowd to align the procession route. They are actually selling the engagement photos in the sores. Also, some shop owners have a lick of sense to advertise other postcards to get people in the shop instead of the ones with Trashy featured on them.

That stamp design looks like a draft not the finished thing anyway it is terrible. If I was CW I would have not approved it....
Those postcards look so amateur - and yes would scare the tourists off!
I'd buy a divorce souvenir too! Original!

Map and 3D illustration of Monaco's Prince's Palace detailing the procession route and timing of events for the July 1 marriage of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstockas if that was difficult to find. If Albert participated on occasion on all those processions held in Monaco, he would know that this is pretty much the way they always take on St Devote after the morning mass. They are lucky it leads along the harbour so there will be the odd tourist walking along there anyways. They will have to announce that they are coming though for people actually go to the road and come and look. They just don't get that people in Monaco are just not the kind to flock to large crowds to watch a car go by. They do for the circus on the street and fireworks, but that's about it. those you see for the TV festival are usuallythere by accident....

After the wedding the stores can unload this stuff on eBay. Some collector of kitch is bound to buy it for a few pennies. As for tourists, I'm almost certain the PR people have contacted the cruise ships to be sure at least one ship is in the harbor (Oh look, just like Grace) and then unload all the tourists just in time for the wedding so it will look like crowds of people attending. I'm sure the cruise ship will get some kind of package deal for future cruises to come visit.

my bet would be on the mafia shipping company, also known as MSC, to do sth like that. But they would probably do with other things but you can check the site of the port to see which ships are booked that day...

Last week when I posted the VSD articlke which stated that the souvenirs are not selling (even quoting shopkeepers), I stated that we will soon see an artilce i nthe Moanco media telling us they are all sold out ... Oh, how could I forget this information, the article mentions that the people of Monaco do not like Charlene's personality! Also, not many people donated money to their wedding account. Any guesses on what the palace and the two media-whores will do to compensate for this article? I'm thinking that we will see articles this week that all the souvenirs have sold out in the shops ...
What's really funny is that the even contradict themselves in this article about the souvenirs being all sold out. They even note that tourists are not the ones buying the souvenirs - people in Monaco are. How much do you want to bet Albert and Charlene ran out and bought them after the latest VSD article stating that they weren't selling? The fame-whores will be giving them out as gifts pretty soon. What's really funny is that the Monaco media keeps saying how much classier and elegant Albert and Charlene's wedding souvenirs are compared to William and Kate's which had their faces on it - but you morons, people wanted and BOUGHT William and Kate's souvenirs! another Big Difference! From the Monaco Matin:
Souvenirs carried away by success Wednesday, June 22, 2011
Objects created are highly stressed in stores. Up to default for the weekend of the wedding
Surprisingly, there is the hard! Objects created to celebrate the wedding of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock II are carried away by success. Cups, plates, champagne glasses, key rings, candle holders ...
Several hundred pieces began to be sold around the Grand Prix. And these products have been sold quickly. "I received the products on June 10 and on 11, I made an order for replenishment. I was robbed, "Jean-François surprised Merenda, the store of the same name, rue Grimaldi.
Sale all year round? "We thought that tourists would buy these items. Finally, it is mainly the inhabitants of Monaco and Monaco who seek them.To keep them as souvenirs or as gifts. I think we will sell all year round and some customers even think to do their Christmas. "
Unlike the products for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton with the effigies of the British couple, objects Monaco to play the classics.
Piped gold, names and date. "The range of products like very much. People appreciate the design chosen the image of the royal couple: simple and chic, "says one side of the royal palace which commissioned the making of these products.
The top 3 favorite products: the mug set with Monogram the couple, key chains and the range set for the wedding.
Given the enthusiasm, some shops have quickly left without stock. A restocking of porcelain products in the near future due to arrive in the Principality.
But the production time of these objects - ranging from four to five weeks - threaten to make rare items in shops, at marriage, if sales continue to increase.
To fail to goods for the weekend of the wedding? "It may be that you can not please everybody," says one side of the palace.
When contacted, the company Molipor, which handles the distribution of objects from merchants in the Principality, declined to comment.

Certain news agencies have been posting daily photos of Monaco as they prepare for the wedding. Everyday there are photos of Albert and Charlene's wedding souvenirs in shop windows - with tourists only looking at them - not buying. The key thing is that these souvenirs are still in the shop windows and not sold out and selling fast as the Monaco media (and the palace) wants you to believe. I haven't been posting them, but I'll post some now. A saleswoman displays the two sides of a commemorative coin showing Prince Albert II ofMonaco and his fiancee Charlene Wittstock in a souvenir shop on Monaco Palace square June 20, 2011. The couple will wed on July 1 and 2, 2011.Here is a key chain - which the above article states are one of the top 3 favorites (yet they are still sitting in the stores) Notice this shopkeeper feels that Albert and Charlene's wedding souvenirs will look more attract, and perhaps sell, is they surrounded them with souvenirs from Prince Rainier and Grace's wedding.

OMG,thanks Paca! I didn't know this and I haven't seen these. They are beautiful and make Albert and Charlene's dinky stuff like bland and drab - which matches them perfectly!

please note that the producer of the products did not wish to express themselves on the subject.....funny since everyone else is blabbing constantly They are probably angry because these things are not selling (regardless of what this sycophantic media wants people to believe) and they have invested production money.
