"Now we wait — we wait to see Charlene in action," said Guy Patrick, who sells souvenirs near the royal palace, a medieval fortress where members of the ruling Grimaldi family have lived since the 15th century. "You see, Charlene is like a new gift. We have to open the box, and see what's inside the box." After they see Charlene in action, after they have looked inside the box, they will find that there is nothing there. Contrary to what Monegasques were told, this is not a gift to them, but a major gift to Charlene and the Wittstock family. Charlene has shown clearly what she thinks of the Monegasques, she hasn't even learned their language. How much more of a disrespect to you have to have to see there is nothing in the box. Then, the Monegasques will find that the store has a NO RETURN policy. And they cannot even re-gift it to someone else.

Scout, I made a similar assessment about Charlene in response to all the sugar loonies who deemed Charlene good, righteous and perfect princess material because they liked her looks. Then, I stated that Charlene is like those empty Christmas packages underneath public Christmas trees - beautifully wrapped for public display and purely empty - i.e. absolutely NOTHING inside. In 2007, one of Charlene's flunkies stated this: Why not wait and see if PA does indeed marry her, and then wait to judge her performance IF AND WHEN she becomes Princess? Is that out of the question? Really, this sentiment was opeenly expressed by the sugar loonie adms, mods and posters constantly when any one of us had anything negative to state about heir idol Charlene. Below is what I stated to the flunkie four years ago and state the same to the Monegasques who believe that this con artist is going to do mind blowing work now that she is their Princess. Actually, people like those who currently speak so highly of Charlene, will find anything that Charlene does going forwards is great. I stated: This is another thing that is so illogically to me. I don't understand why people conclude that if someone thinks that a person is void of substance and sincerity AND is selfish and self-absorbed (as Charlene stated about herself) that these basic ingrained character traits will magically morph into something else once that person marries. It reminds me of women who think that their cheating boyfriends will change once they get married. Diana was manipulative, insecure, and condoned Prince Charles' relationship with Camilla before they got married. What magically changed once she got married? It doesn't happen.

" It brings stability. You know, for years we saw the prince at nightclubs in St. Tropez. He was a partier. So it's great that he's finally settling down," Felix said. Albert is bringing love back to the palace, Pleaaaseee!! As if Albert is not going to party in clubes anymore! And LOVE? oh, i already made my point about that in many posts. Love back to the palace LOL After he's spread the love all over the place with several kids.

If some of you can get french TV, there is now on France 5 "C dans l'air" something about "Rumors in Monaco"
I'll post a link if I can get one.
a Monegasque says "Je ne pense pas qu'ils sont amoureux" "On a l'impression qu'il y a une histoire d'enfant..."

I just heard from a friend of mine that they dislike her because she couldn't care less about learning the language. SHe has been booked with a Monaco company for 5hours per week French classes and she did not turn up for a single one of them. SHe does not want to learn French; she wants the title and the money. And the international community could not care less about her or the prince. The only ones who care are those who benefit or who want to benefit in the future. those who have been made Monegasque or hope to be made Monegasques. Those who have been Monegasques for generations, despise her. And Albert is losing support with them as well by putting them through this. The funny thing is she is only booked for 5 hours a week? ;D She needs to study at least 4 hours a day! She can't even make it to 5 hours a week, of course that doesn't surprise me that's why she doesn't speak French now--she's unwilling to apply herself to anything she doesn't want to do and she never has and she never will. You are right, SHE has to be booked for 4 hours a day... If one is educated enough and is fluent in english or a latin based language, had some exposure through contact with other nationalities ( visiting abroad, listening to locals, asking about new words, "how do you say this in french" ) , even leafing through magazines, can easily learn to converse in french in 20-30 hours of intensive lessons ( attention, not necessarily understand when someone speaks to them, different story all together ). Has been done by many of my best friend's students and she has no obvious financial gain by them learning so quickly! But, one has to attend and have some of the described qualities/experiences. Or simply wanting to learn the language. Seems like she does not. I mentioned this before but, cannot imagine her ever mastering the monegasque language-dialect known as Munegascu! On the other hand she may know that she is not in for the long run so, why bother? She is a Princess after all for now and that is all that matters along with the two tiaras which will show, one on top of the other for the Red Cross Ball! Wait and see! lol!

Diana was manipulative, insecure, and condoned Prince Charles' relationship with Camilla before they got married. What magically changed once she got married? It doesn't happen. All of us who work have been pre-judged on our abilities and how well we will perform the duties assigned to a particular job. Our past work history, community service, education, presentation are all 'judged' to determine if we are suitable for the job. Why is Charlene excluded from this basic process that most people have to go through to get a job? Isn't Charlene said to have 'really wanted the JOB'? Now that Charlene is the princess, how long will we have to give her before we can 'judge' her success or failure? Kate was married for about 2 months when they set off for Canada (and she did a fantastic job). Is 2 months enough for Charlene to get up to speed? Will she be semi-fluent in French in 2 months? Since I doubt it, we can just call this woman a failure right now and save time. Again, MyaDia, thanks for all your research on this con artist. Thanks for the karma, Hibou, back at you.

Did the second coming of Jesus Christ happened on Saturday July 2, 2011 in the Saint Devote Chapel in Monaco - and I missed it? Seriously, that is what it seems like these brain-washed Monegasques are describing! In the Relationship: True love, Fake, or One Big Con thread we have several testimonies and body language expert that state beyond a reasonable doubt that Albert and Charlene’s presence at the wedding, especially at St Devote, show a couple who are cold distant toward each other and definitely not in love with each other. But, in this Monaco Matin article are testimonies from several Monegasques who were inside the St Devote chapel during the service, including the young pianist and her parents, and they all describe Albert and Charlene presence and the couple themselves as loving and happy.
Sainte Devote: the story of an "immense joy shared"
By Gaétan Supertino Sunday, July 10, 2011
"I played the first notes, looked up. And I realized that Charlene began to cry. I was so moved. I fixed my gaze on the keyboard. I concentrated. My hands were shaking."
Clotilde Bresson, the young pianist whose fingers have started on Saturday crowned the introduction of the stars, the song that the new princess has provided the only tears of her marriage, remembered his whole life for this moment. The same goes for the lucky hundred present in the chapel of Sainte-Devote this day. Most keep in mind, in detail, the passage of the royal couple in the house of the patron saint of Monaco. From start to finish.
"The light effect was striking," "Their entrance was impressive. Everyone stood up. Some are mounted on the benches. All the eyes were on them. There was the impression of an immense joy shared by all, "recalls Erika Riberi young believer in the parish of St. Nicolas.
"The couple arrived and there was a silence. The fervor lived the whole crowd. They appeared against the light, the light effect was striking. Then everyone applauded," says Maurice Besson, the father of the pianist, placed on the right shortly after the altar of Saint Devote.
The pair broke into the church, slowly, the sound of the organ, Charlene on the arm of the Prince."Their approach was assured. Their faces and attitudes expressed happiness and nobility. It was a rare, unique," describes Molkara Shahram Shams, editor of the parish of Sainte Devote.
"They exchanged knowing smiles, they looked appeased. Charlene was serene and happy," judged Clotilde Besson.
Then the organ stopped. And the song, then crowned with the stars, came to light a little more heart.
"Much prayer, beautiful" "Charlene cried. There was emotion, she lived perhaps the best day of her life. And the song was beautiful. She speaks of the Virgin Mary, a wife, mother. It evokes hope," said Deacon Robert Ferrua, who attended the couple's home in the church. They all go their own explanations. But whether all exclude tears of sadness.
The princess quickly erased. Prince slid his smiles and sweet words. "He seemed embarrassed, bewildered, but in the sense of a lover who cares about the welfare of his wife," said Maurice Besson.
A few seconds passed. Youth choirs began singing. The crowd knew the chorus. She sang, too. "The Prince has followed us, it was a very hard time. This gave the impression of a great prayer, a shared recollection, it was beautiful," describes Clotilde Besson.
Meanwhile Charlene moves towards the altar of Saint Devote. She filed her bridal bouquet, reflects. Before you turn around and walk away with her husband, waving to the crowd. "She seemed reserved, emotional, but smiling and happy. He was radiant. He went to see everyone. It felt like he would not leave," recalls Maurice Besson.
All the witnesses seem to provide: it felt good, on the top of the patron saint, this Saturday afternoon so special.
As Erika Riberi summarized: "It was much more intimate than the main ceremony, away from the protocol and gotha.Charlène, unaccustomed to the ceremonies, was natural and smiling. There was a real communion in any church. There was this feeling that we touched the real heart of marriage. "

I still maintain with every fiber in my being Charlene tried to play up to the cameras to depict a great moving and loving scene at St. Devote – and it backfired on her – as every other scheme she hatched for this wedding did (well, except the one where Sucker Albie, The Village Idiot of Monaco actually did marry her). JeromeR, the wedding Production Manager, gave an interview and spoke how the Saint Devote scene was going to be the best and most moving - and that’s why the con artist saved all her tears for that scene. However, Sucker Albert did not play his part and give her the “loving and happy couple” that she wanted for sugar loonies and royal watchers for years to come to drool over as proof of the most loving and happy royal couple. Please remember what the Con Artist told Vogue just two hours before she finally got her Princess title that she so desperately wanted since 2000, “…[T]he photographs of me and Albert in love and getting married will speak louder than any vicious gossip and empty rumors.”
It is, has always been and will always be about the PHOTOGRAPHS for the Princess Conlene of Monaco - not her actions, her behavior or even her words - just her photographs - which she will stage.

Yes it backfired which is why they are in this PR mess. She "ran away" and there are officials who confirmed it. Yes she staged the tears and he didn't respond ( Al you're a little thick if you didn't get the trick).
She thought she was more press savvy than she really is. She thought she could play the victim and get more press. Well, she was right on that one. It just wasn't the press she was expecting or was it? If she created this nightmare, I bet she thought she would get Albert's full attention and more cash pay out up front. The victim(poor me) - Albie save me from these nasty creatures. All it did was p*** him off more (separate hotels even). It's a bigger fiasco than the mess LaCoste created with Nicole.
L'Express has upped the ante at the roulette table, and Albert has stupidly thrown more cash on the table. Charlene in the meantime, playing victim still. If we believe Eringer (and I know many here don't but humor me for a moment) that Albert takes the path of least resistance, is it possible that L'Express is creating the path of least resistance when it becomes obvious he's going to loose and thus the only face-saving thing to do is step down? Just putting a theory out there. Charlene if we believe these "lying" tabloids, got cash up front probably in a bank account in SA so all she has to do is wait it out. JMO

Were there any blind or crippled people in the church? Have there been any reports of miracle, yet? I am surprised that there are no reports of the blind suddenly seeing and the crippled suddenly standing up and running down Monaco's streets!

All I can say to these people quoted who were in St Devote for the last act of the performance: GET A LIFE! Clearly these people smoked the crack and drank the kool-aid as a chaser! What has this man and woman done to be labeled icons? Take off the blinders and keep the women and children safe.

I swear RP, I was waiting for one of them to say something like that also. Seriously, these people act like Albert and Charlene's presence was like God and His son Jesus Christ. God lawd, these people are so damn scary? The sad things is that these people are fawning over two dimwits who clearly care nothing about them otherwise Albert and Charlene wouldn't have spent so much money when their country has a huge deficit and many social programs are being cut.

Well, clearly, Monegasques can't speak freely like the rest of the world who saw the exact same ceremony-- video doesn't lie. I mean, even with William and Kate, the BRF had to be careful about how they officially announced and planned everything to make sure that there wasn't any PR misunderstanding/slip-ups. Heck, they're still being careful even now that she's Duchess of Cambridge. Even with a proper education and no illegitimate kids, there was very careful planning. I mean the only thing she had against her was her lack of proper job, but then it was kinda hard to have a normal job because if her obvious close ties to William. Albert is blessed with no accountability to his people. He's the boss and everybody has to smile and agree. I guess some idiots have all the luck!
Could you imagine the Monaco scenario with the Windsors?? If Kate stomped around with the same smirk that Connie has all the time? Ha!

Do you think that Monaco's Tourism Office (who runs the Visit Monaco Facebook page) finally decided that Albert and Charlene are NOT the best attraction to lure people to Monaco? I thought that the Visit Monaco Facebook account would flood their pages with photos of their flagship couple attending the wedding exhibit and the Herculis meet - but there is absolutely NO PAGES of the trashy duo on the pages at these to events! But, there is information on the pages about these events. Up until the SA wedding bash, Visit Monaco was still treating their tourists page as an extension of Charlene's Facebook account - flooding the pages with photos and silly articles about Charlene. But, no more. I hope that this is a permanent decision. To Monaco's Tourism office: I hope that you highlight the beautiful, entertaining and cultural attractions that Monaco has to offer and not your "laughing stock of the world" trashy couple. People will not make a decision to visit and spend money Monaco because of your Sucker Prince and your plastic surgery addicted high school drop out trashy looking princess. Hopefully, people will visit Monaco in spite of them. Get a brain (and get your noses up from Albert's fat ass and Charlene's flat one) and put your country first. I swear, Monaco officials are going to rue the day that they decided to make Charlene Wittstock and this wedding the face of Monaco. Here's the front page of the Official Facebook page of the Monaco Government Tourist Office. It's a shrine to mostly Charlene and this wedding. This is such a stupid move. Think about this, if you wanted to visit Monaco, do you want to go to their Facebook page and read all this ridiculous articles about Charlene. This is such a childish and unprofessional Tourism Facebook page.
