I'm afraid that I am totally inept on how to add pictures, but I saw that Charlene attended a charity event called 'Road to Athens: Fundraising for Special Olympics'. She wore a long, flowing dress with what looked like flip-flops. Maybe someone could find the photos and add them.

Thanks, An! These were the photos that I was talking about. Doesn't it look like she has on flip-flops?

Paca, I am sure Trashlene believes that she is a fashionista - a style icon now. Here's the Special Olympics press release about Conlene's new role for the special Olympics. Conlene and her props...

Madame Charlene...it doesn't fit. It doesn't sound good. I prefer that rather than Her royal highness or Princess Charlene.

inclusion of people with intellectual inabilities...I have to say that I know a little boy, a bit older then my boys, living in Monaco suffering from Trisomy 21 and he speaks French, Polish, Czech and English. Trashlene hardly speaks English, so who is suffering from an intellectual inability? Maybe if trashy competes at the special Olympics , she might make it on the podium, but I doubt it. Sorry but I hate seeing this woman abusing these people for her circus. ANd her entire attitude towards them shows that she has not the slightest interest in them. Only for the photo op.

oh and someone ought to tell her that you do not enter a journey. and certainly you are not entering a new and exciting new journey. That woman should simply not open her chicklets mouth. Just have her sit and shut up Albert. It's bad enough to have one with a speech impediment, but two? if they ever procreate that poor kid will not be able to learn any language. poor thing.

The new Global Ambassador Maybe I'm a prude, but she needs to cover up the shoulders when she is at an event like this. Show some respect for the participants and the other sponsors. I'm starting to think that once May is here, we can expect a strapless Princess of Monaco until about October. I wonder if she gets a discount on the clothes since only half the torso is clothed?

I agree paca. I don't like the phrasing "intellectual inabilities. Some of them have learning glitches or physical problems. Not inabilities. Inabilities is so negative. These kids thrive on the positive. It just shows you that not only is she uneducated academically but uneducated in diversity. Someone needed to script this statement better. You just can't leave this woman to wing it. Or perhaps I should look at it differently, may be she has a learning glitch herself and therefore identifies with them. I'm waiting for that announcement. Something for her PR flunkies to gain sympathy with. Well, at least it would explain why she can't learn French. JMO

I know that's supposed to be considered "average" - but it's very, very low average to say the least - basically it's just over the edge of not retarded. One may think on the surface "Well, if she's so stupid - how did she get where she did?" I'm sure she probably thinks that - but IMO - where she is, and who she's marrying, and what she's having to put up with, and God only knows what she willing to accept - very, very, very few women would agree to what IMO - I'm sure she's agreed to - no matter what was offered!
