What is your Opinion of Charlene? Has it Changed? Jul 11, 2011 7:32:48 GMT -5

I watched that interview at least two times too - couldn't watch it more times because it's too scary.
As for the corrections of PPDA ("when she said I am looking forward to discover France, he said Monaco ( accent on last o ) and she replied I know Monaco ( accent on first o ) and he corrected her again" )
In my humble opinion: after this sentence of her they should have cancelled this wedding! It was so rude to the Monegasque people!
If Albert was Polish president (you can compare Monaco and Poland for many reasons) and determined to marry a "first lady" who says "First thing I will do when becoming Princess? Discover Russia!" he would be forced step down OR cancel the wedding the very day
Even I felt ensulted although I am not Monegasque.
Monaco is a tiny country with huge neighbours, they need no First Lady who says stuff like that and DOES NOT EVEN FEEL HOW RUDE SHE IS EVEN WHEN CORRECTED.
PPDA felt how wrong this answer was and what appeared like being rude to Charlene might have been a spontaneous attempt of "damage control"? He builded her a bridge suggesting the right answer (You mean Monaco?) but she didn't get even THAT :(.
Sorry, bettina - it's not against you but this interview was such a disaster that my blood pressure goes up when I only think about it.
She is just unprofessional!!! Each question was sooo predictable (plans/ religion/ children) and answer was totally wrong. This was all so telling...
Dear Margarita, first of all, thank you for your welcome! I fully agree to her being unprepared,as I said, she probably had the questions at hand, they don't just come up with all those questions on the day so, yes, the whole thing was quite shocking! And yes, saying that "I am looking forward to discover France", was probably something she learned at french lessons school like "could I have some water" and she was waiting to say it for the longest, not realizing that Monaco is not France! My comments on PPDA were more along the subject of how nice french people can be to those attempting to speak french, NOT, in my experience. And again, speaking of rudeness, she would fit just right in France, I thought when people wish you well, you say thank you, not OK! Shame, shame, shame...
