The Italian community in Monaco decided to solicit money for a fund for the St. Devote Church for Dumb and Dumber's wedding gift - but they have NOT collected their goal so they will continue to collect money until the end of the year. LMAO! read in Italian at Monte Carlo News

And for those who had not yet joined, the chance to participate, until the end of the year It was June 24, 2011 when the COMITES , the Committee of Italians living abroad , sent to all Italian residents registered in the AIRE of Monaco, a letter signed by President Nicholas Caissotti of Chiusano: an explanation of what would have been The gift offered by the Italian community in the Principality of Monaco for the wedding of the Sovereign and how to participate.
It will be 100% Italian and a gift for the Church of St Devote: a new body commissioned thefactory Zanin of Udine. To accompany the prince cadeau there will be a " Golden Book "with inside all the names of donors: the volume along with photos of the draft of the instrument set in the Church, will be delivered to the King on 27 January, at the Feast of Saint Devote, the patron of Monaco.

Albert and Charlene had asked that money be donated to their charities of choice instead of receiving wedding gifts. The friends of the New National Museum of Monaco raised 100,700 ( $143,669) and Albert and Charlene asked that it be donated to Fight AIDS Monaco. On Thursday, Aug 4th, Albert an Stephanie received the check and posed for photos at the palace gardens. Praytell, why couldn't Princess Conlene pose with them? Probably busy getting ready for her big show the next night at the Red Cross Ball. From Monaco Telecom:
Royal wedding: delivery of a check to Fight Aids MonacoAugust 9, 2011
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene wanted the sum offered by the Association of Friends of the New National Museum of Monaco, on the occasion of their marriage, to go the association Fight Aids Monaco, which use the funds to the House of Life in Carpentras.
This Thursday, August 4, Cristina Noghès Menio, president of the Association of Friends of NMNM, presented a check for 100,700 Euros to Princess Stéphanie, President of Fight Aids Monaco, in the presence of Prince Albert II in the gardens of the Palace.
As a reminder, the House of Life in Carpentras, inaugurated in June 2010, can accommodate for a short break for people living with HIV to enable them to rest, relax a little, to a wagon, out of isolation and build the best, according to their capacities and opportunities, all of their personal strengths. To date more than one hundred people, including families, teenagers and children, have stayed.

So where's HSH highness for the photo op to charities. She should be there with Stephanie. After all it's a wedding gift to both of them not just Albert. Also she cried at St. Devote. So why don't we have a statement from her about how grateful she is that her favorite sacred place is receiving a gift? Crocodile tears!!

Mateo Mornar created a silver sculpture of the wedded couple as a wedding gift and also 20 numbered bronze copies for sale. The artist will donate 50% of the sales to Prince Albert Foundation. Price of each piece: 20.000 € ?! To die for, isn´t it? And really worth the price. Look at all the details: her hair/veil, arms forming heart, monogram... Pity he didn´t add large, wide set eyes like Spielberg´s E.T.

Another wedding gift presentation to the "happily married couple:" - with no Charlene. Perhaps Albert didn't have enough time to call her from her home - away from Monaco. From Monaco Telecom:

Oh, and apparently She chosed to donate. Why is she not there? I bet she wanted to keep the cash and the Palace and PA wouldn't let her. THEY choose for her to donate the money and to whom she would donate it. And she stayed away because she is pissed off.

Oh, and apparently She chosed to donate. Why is she not there? Don't you remember that she said in an interview to SA radio reporter that once she becomes Princess she will take some time off, some down time, to relax and take a long naps....or something stupid like that. So, she comes out only when she must and when no brains or use of words are needed.
