I think in view of the problems of the Catholic church they can't afford preference treatment of people. And remember how Bush asked the St Peters dome to closed to the public because of him and Ratzi said, if you want to go in and pray, feel free, but we won't stop our people to pay their respects to the JPII. And Bush went in like any other. I don't think that Albert can expect favour treatment from him. With the paternity suits he might just cancel his announced visit.

I agree the church should have stopped it. I'm still not sure I think politically she had no choice. She does still have the heirs, and if I were in her position, I would have gone just to so I could keep an eye on Charlene's antics in the future. I do believe in keeping ones enemies close. I also agree that there is no respect for women in Monaco. I saw it myself there years ago. Not a place I'd want my daughter to be that's for sure. I disagree here. Politically she has made a huge mistake. She has weighted family loyalties against political cunning. She and her heirs are tainted. They have participated, promoted and consented with their presence Alberts decision. To me that is a clear signal that Caroline neither wants the position nor has the ability for it. People who are supposed to be loyal to her brother, who are paid to protect him, have damaged him in public. The news spread like wildfire in Monaco and a lot of people felt gratified by it. If everything was well in MC the rumour would have been spread, but people wouldn't have paid attention. But they did. It was a wake up call and it went unheard. They could have made a statement, they could have regained integrity and stability. Instead they decided that the show must go on at all cost. Albert will fall over this. He is politically the weakest prince Monaco has ever had. And the dumbest. They have just blown out 100 million (I count the money they will pay CW and the damage control PR to the wedding costs) out of the window. They promised more people would come to Monaco etc. but none of this will happen. YOu saw how many really turned up for the entire weekend. If they are lucky they had 30000 people over the weekend, but I think it might have been less. They changed the route for the car to drive because they didn't have enough crowd to line the streets. The wedding will wear of quickly and people will be demanding what has been promised. And they won't receive it. So the fall will be politically a very difficult time for Albert. Add to that the paternity tests. Plus he has a woman by his side who is disliked and who does not want to learn the language and adapt to the country. How long do you think people will put up with Albert? If Caro would have made a clear sign that she wants nothing to do with this, she would have stayed away or at least would have made Andrea stay away to protect him as an heir and make him an alternative within the family. Now the alternative is either a democracy or a change of the constitution with a new prince. And that does not necessarily need to be Andrea. They can look for a distant relative as well. But they will have to give in any case more power to the conseil National. May be she really doesn't want it and figures at some point Monaco will become a democracy? I think the citizens should act fast and remove him quickly before he has the kid. - but will they?

With all due respect to the great priests out there but if the catholic church will barely recognize the child molestations that have gone on (particularly the mass cases in the u.s.)surely it could careless about Albert and all his philandering.

I am not sure, but I think with another paternity suite Albert will be weakened even further. That certainly gives way for different parties to pressure for changes. Monegasque did that to Albert I who was a much better prince then this one, but often absent. Monegasques pressured him to give them a constitution. That was almost exactly 100 years ago. In other countries this would be considered a reason for celebration or at least worth a line in the paper. Apparently the Grimaldis still consider it a humiliation that the people forced them to give them more rights. We have seen a lot of changes in the world this year. Most of them were triggered by a deteriorating economic situation in countries with authoritarian governments. Although the Monegasques have less financial problems, they are aware how quickly that can change, especially when you are governed by an incompetent sex addict. They might feel inspired ....

She gave the vogue interview AFTER l'express came out. SHe still had her chance to say no. SHe still could have pretended that she was going through with things and then said no. Even if her family forced her, albert's people forced her.....she was given a chance by the journalists from l'express to get out. They had to show her saying yes, because the entire media was watching. If she would have said no, she would have had a chance to history. Instead she chose to deny the runaway rumors and played along. now she is the best paid hooker in the known universe. way to go Albert, you have just shown that Monaco is the worlds biggest brothel. And Caroline stood by as the brothel mom. I have lost every inch of respect for Caroline for assisting. I have not seen the Spanish royals; It seems they are the only royals with a sense of morals. All other Royals, heads of states have discredited themselves for assisting at the wedding. I will make a post to the subject once I have wrapped my head around it, but it is revolting that in our age and day, when a French president votes a law against the burka because it is undignifying to women and then assists the public sale of a woman live on TV. So true! And so sad!

He appears to be a sex addict. If these come out to be true it's a sad day that his subjects and family don't ensure he gets some help for mental disorders. What are they waiting for? Him to be declared "incompetent" by the Wittstocks after they have their heir.

I just looked at video that margarita posted. Geez, those two don't look like a couple that just got married. It's clear that it was a business deal. A the most they're just buddies. I get feeling that any kid they might have will be conceived in vitro in this union. Maybe this farce-of-a-marriage will be annulled soon because it would be not consumed. Just saying...

Great finding khillaree!! This is really good to read! A summary from the media a France. Translate by Google: Charlene Wittstock: update on three attempts to escape rumors? Published Monday, July 04, 2011 15: 36 by M - A.K. for several weeks, rumours are tarnishing the marriage of the prince Albert II of Monaco with Charlene Wittstock. Voici.fr made the point for you. A marriage of prince, it is dream: Star, dress in want in here, diamonds, flowers everywhere, and even carpet rouge… Everything is together to paste with the magic of fairy tales. In theory at least, because of the prince Albert II of Monaco was somewhat tainted. > watch all photos of the marriage of Albert and Charlene: the civil ceremony, the religious ceremony and night which would be pointing the finger, it would be the disordered life of the prince. Tuesday, the express .fr site revealed that Charlene Wittstock reportedly tried to be beautiful in three days of the ceremony. The JDD goes even further and reveals in its Edition yesterday, Charlene Wittstock reportedly tried to escape three times. The first is when she came to Paris in may, in the Giorgio Armani shop for her wedding dress fittings. It is would be indeed "refugee to Embassy of his country of origin", said the newspaper. The second was late May. While all spotlight was on Monaco at the formula 1 Grand Prix, the South Africa would have sought once again to leave. The last, it was a few days of marriage. This is not "on the tarmac at Nice airport," but on the heliport of Monaco that Charlene would have been retrieved in extremis by Carabineros, who would then have confiscated his passport. Some defend even the thesis that, to ensure its presence throughout the weekend, "a have agreement between the future bride and groom", according to the JDD. > Louison drawing on the mad rumour of the departure of Charlene Wittstock EC who allegedly set fire to the powder: a new paternity of Albert II of Monaco. "Talking about hidden child, but the issue would be whether it was more than five years because Charlene and Albert are officially together for five years," explained a Monegasque parliamentary Counsellor. However, several sources discussing "two illegitimate children (one already born, the other coming)", from the Journal du Dimanche. Knowing that Albert II of Monaco has already acknowledged two illegitimate children, Jazmin, 19 years old, and Alexander, 8 years old. Charlene Wittstock: his passport is confiscated? All that, it is because of the police! Published Thursday, June 30, 2011 15: 27 by A.R. Why has the horrible rumor of Charlene flight? The police did not would be for baulks The rumour of the Charlene Wittstock leak a few days of marriage? Contradicted by counsel for the Principality in a statement to AFP. J-3 of the view, this story just stop beautiful mechanics of the other wedding of the century. It took deny and then communicating the happiness of the couple to decapitate this nasty, nasty rumour. From our friends in the Figaro, the ramdam would have caused by a Monaco police which has multiplied the odd in the history of the always alleged leak. In fact, the police of the rock would made credible sounds which ran on the couple Albert - Charlène. A police officer more verbose that the average "is would be widespread on the intervention of his colleagues at the airport of Nice to catch up in extremis the Princess, who wished to go", indicate our colleagues from the Figaro.fr. According to the COP, the passport of Charlene would have even been confiscated. The same day, a second source "very reliable" told a high ranking officer of the French national police of a similar incident, said the newspaper. No how on the Principality, obviously.

On the other hand, if it were the woman who had a few children here and there by one night stands, all of which she had abandoned, how would you call her? Just promiscuous? please... the leniency with which guys are treated equals that of the Catholic church.
