Balloons will be distributed to clients wishing to participate in balloon release provided for 18 hours on the Place d'Armes.ROFL there are always ballons at white trash weddings in TX, i knew there'd be ballons I was going to suggest releasing white Doves as a second choice, but then they might poop on the spectators. On the other hand wouldn't that pretty much sum up the occasion? they can't use white doves. They are pigeons. Don't you remember your fairy tales? It was the pigeons that stopped the prince from marrying the evil stepsister....no no can't have pigeons interfering with CWs scheming

the cathedral would have been much nicer. the courtyard looks terrible with the equipment everywhere and the nasty covering. The structure with the tent thingy is for ZDF surely. They were telling that they wanted to have their talk platform really in the middle of things. I doubt they will cover the palace place for the Monegasques. It would destroy the TV pics of the palace as CW walks in. And yes they are running incredibly late....like people who realize the day before xmas that they need to go shopping...

www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/hauptnavigation/sendung-verpasst/#/beitrag/video/1370290/Hofkonditor-in-MonacoInterview with Catherine Phillip, owner of the baker/confectionery which delivers the palace. Her parents opened it 1958 and Grace often bought sweets for Rainier. Catherine is someone who obviously admires the Grimaldi: an old photo of Grace and a nice drawing of the family hang on the walls. She prepared the vitrine with the flags of Monaoc and South Africa and a photo of the couple (which I hate, who did this photo?). For the weddings her confectionery will make the sweets.

A little Hitchcock "the birds" might do the trick!

Seeing the photos from the preparations inside the courtyard just confirm that this will be a trashy, street fair wedding. This just looks so nouveau riche! And to have a perfectly good cathedral just down the street, it is just insane to do this in the palace. After seeing the Swedish wedding last year and the British this year, Albert with his wedding is just confirming that Monaco is a second class country. In all these interviews, it would be interesting if he would clearly explain why he is having the wedding at the palace courtyard versus in the cathedral. I'm sure the answer would confirm that this is a business deal and not a marriage of love.

ritual makes sense when you have individuals involved who've given some sense of decorum in their behavior .... based on the behavior these two dumb bitches, it make the pomp and circumstance fo their circus gathering utterly RIDICULOUS!!!!

What crowds? Prince Albert is not a people friendly Prince. Charlene Wittstock is even less a people frienclly future Princess.
We never see them!
Once again they are trying to play us for fools.

just saw my neighbor with a huge bunch of flowers. asked whom they are from, she said they came from where they have the money for it...the rock. There were some salmon coloured calla , roses in off white with an old pink rim, some green flower as filler, from what I could quickly make out. Apparently she had more yesterday. I suppose not all the flowers ordered will go where they thought they were going. We were joking if she took CWs bridal bouquet. And it was all no no that's not hers. Of course not, there were no diamonds in it

Cool Paca - interesting to hear the local flavor from our side!
It is really so sad to see those people working so hard on what should be a happy event for his people. Instead it is a selfish business deal...

Not liking what I'm seeing of the square. It doesn't look like a wedding is going to take place there, more like a rock concert.
