As soon as she can spare some time off: it takes at least 2 months to recover from a hook nose surgery. ROFL I am amazed at the surgical expertise on this forum. My extend goes as far as spotting it on a person, but apart from the terms botox and lifting I think I have to out myself as rather challenged in the terminology department...but I guess that's because I would never consider any of it or know anyone close enough who would. *laugh!!* Well, to fix a hooked nose, it has to be broken, literally. Remember Hilary Swank at Million Dollar Baby? Kind off... If not worse...

I'm missing the trio and their glamor. I haven't seen a glamor couple or dress thus far, not to mention the age of those attending this event seems to start around 40 and go up quickly. Without the trio and their friends there are absolutely no young people at this event. No wonder they had Lulu singing. It's her age group.

It's Charlene - who Albert thinks is the New Grace, Monaco's savior! Recall, what she bragged to Vogue that Karl Lagerfeld supposedly said about her - some bull about Chalrene bringing youth, modern and glamour to Monaco.

I'll turn all the large photos on this page into links tomorrow (I know it's messing up the scroll feature). I was trying to post them asap for tonight and also I wanted everyone to see (without clicking) what has become of Monaco.

They will never admit it but the setup looks like way less tables and chairs, i.e. less people! Is this a joke? Are these people really serious in thinking that this woman looks just like Grace and continues the class elegance and glamour that grace exuded? Good lawd - these people are stark raving mad! This is what happens when the emperor goes around naked and no one can tell him to put some damn clothes on. Albert has made a fool of Monaco and eventually the press will stop playing along pretending this this tranny looking woman is classy elegant and glamorous. I am with Cathy Horyn of the New York times - it is a stretch to put this woman on anyone's best dressed list. Her style is like a flat blanket or an over priced table cloth. I had no idea the Ball was tonight--it can't compete with shark week! ;D Seriously....i really like shark week, but the sharks cannot humiliate themselves like these two can. Myadia totally agree, and with you other posts above. I think maybe someone should have told her she needed some powder! ;D I cannot believe that this girl cannot stop trying to emulate Grace and her hairstyles, and their is a pose that is almost exactly like one in a picture of Grace--I really believe Charlene really does nothing all day, but look through pictures of Grace to try to copy--I wonder how many times Charlene posed in the mirror to try to get that pose down. I really don't know why she wants to wear her hair like this when it is really unflattering--her forehead is much too big to wear her hair off her forehead puffed on her head. This girl really has the most bazaar boob job that I have ever seen! ;D The strapless dresses make it look that much worse. Charlene never tries to look like a princess--the meaning of elegant will never be in her vocabulary--only vulgar. That dress is so over the top, plus it makes her look thick in the middle? She dresses to attract attention and to try to upstage everyone else....to be the Star "she believes she is", and Albert looks like her hapless chump. Whatever that is that is suppose to be around her neck looks bad and makes her look vulgar! I like Stephanie's dress too, but the slip thing should be just a little longer and Caroline's dress is fresh and breezy, she always tries to match the colors of the event. I really had no idea today was the Ball, but I haven't been interested since Charlene was part of it, and it only looks that much more like a place to really avoid now. Myadia you are right about the close up on her face when they are dancing--you can see this girl's real features--she is not too attractive is she? , especially for someone who thinks so much of herself and her looks. ;D Keep me posted what she says about herself on these forums! I am sure she will be boasting all about her new self importance--I wonder why Stephanie didn't look happier there with her best friend.

She looks much more like a young Celeste Holms than Grace Kelly! Her looks are really more like those of a supporting actress back in the 50's. She certainly doesn't possess any STAR quality that's for sure! Not impressed with the necklace at all. And the dress certainly doesn't show it off to it's best advantage.

Is Elisabeth-Anne de Massy not well? She is only 65 years old and looks so thin. I hope that she is OK. Princess Caroline's dress is horrid.

9.990 $$ WTF! PlasticFace dress is poorly made... With some photos I have the feeling that there is still someone under her dress.
The gala looks very boring. No glamour, no real stars…

I've been tho The Red Cross Ball -2x - and it really does not look anywhere near as crowded as when I attended. I thought it was Joe Cocker who was headlining...? LouLou is for the Gala in Leeds ...? Not that it matters!
After a few more of these Galas CW is going to feel like everyone else who HAS to ATTEND these Galas - bored and irritated she has to go! The novelty of being Princess and The Star of the evening will wear off very quickly. Then what?!

That lumpy look she has on her face is from the "fillers" that have been put in on top of each other and too much was put in to make her face plumb up. It's very noticeable in the closeup under her right eye. They put filler in under the eye to fill out the hollows but if too much is put in one will end up with a lumpy look. It's apparently a very hard place to put fillers because the skin in that area is so thin and delicate. You really need just a drop and it has to be done by an expert doctor. Not all doctors can do it properly. If you have the fillings done too often and don't wait long enough after a treatment lumpiness occurs. Boy she's going to be a mess in 10 years time - if not before! (She already is - but I mean she won't be able to be repaired!) I can also see the hairline scar under her hair up by her forehead. She's had a complete lift - forehead, temples, cheeks, chin. I've noticed her scars before. Of course I'm looking, and I know what to look for so it's not that hard for me to see. The doctor did a decent job - but if he was really, really good I would not be able to see anything at all - A really good, I mean the best- doctors - can hide the scars so well in the hairline they have trouble finding them once the patient heals! Really!

Well, I am not surprised that according to German law this kind of surgery is dealt with as assault...makes you wonder if these women had violent husbands, if they would be equally appreciative for getting their noses broken....

Were the members of the wedding party in attendance -- Chris LeVine, Donatella?

And the fact that it has the same colour as the tablecloth at the ball doesn't make it more interesting
