LOL the text page to follow up on the title you can't enlarge? I would love to know how they are making the twist to sth completely irrelevant or false. Because these sort of headlines sell their magazines. People expect sth big and then it is just a 3 day trip.... still it tells about what people do expect and would want to read....

Hummm... I wonder if Albert was hoping that this stupid wedding would bring in enough revenue and positive results that he wouldn't have to sell his precious football team...?

Hummm... I wonder if Albert was hoping that this stupid wedding would bring in enough revenue and positive results that he wouldn't have to sell his precious football team...? by throwing 70 million out of the window for that wedding? They are trying to sell the wedding as a boost to the economy, but behind the scenes MC is being sold. they are accepting private money for government construction. That means that most of the benefits will go to the investors and NOT to MC. It also means that MC can no longer decide independently what they want their counrty to be like, but they have to jump as the investors tell them. That is exactly what Rainier has prevented. It took Rainier almost 60 years to hand over a prosperous state to Albert. And he managed to ruin it in less then 6 years. The past 2 years they have been mainly spending to cover up Alberts inability to rule. www.monacomatin.mc/article/monaco/des-fonds-prives-dans-les-grands-chantiers-de-letat

I tried to use google translator for article posted khillaree. A heartbreaking separation! For months, the Prince refused to yield to the temptation, he finally cracked. Prince Albert of Monaco lives a bleak period, if not an ordeal, which began early last summer. Remember, in July, he was faced with courage and dignity, to slander his messy couple. Peddled by the British tabloids, the worst rumors defiled her marriage: there was talk of a "farce" of an "arranged marriage", a "couple unfortunate room was already at hand" and a prince " indifferent to the happiness of his young wife, "to quote the titles of British newspapers. A trouble never comes alone, Albert then had to face, always at the heart of summer, the worst economic crisis that the Rock has known throughout its history. Because of this unprecedented recession, the Society of sea bathing (SBM), the organization managing the princely casinos and hotels in Monaco, posted in August 2011, abysmal losses. The never-seen on the Rock, where a very worrying phenomenon is emerging: an unemployment above 5% as a result of declining attendance at local hotels ... The financial situation is so serious that the shareholders of the SBM has recently agreed for the first time since the inception of the company in 1863 to give up their annual dividends. Coup de grace in this mess: the end of October last, the king, overwhelmed, learned that the Fair and paris online games, a major demonstration planned in Monaco, had been canceled by its organizers in extremis . This represents a shortfall of hundreds of thousands of dollars for merchants Monaco ... Tragedy But the cascade of problems is nothing compared to the test of a different magnitude, the prince saw today. The tragedy for the football club from the principality. Albert is very emotionally connected to the AS Monaco, with whom he maintains a love story and passionate fusion. Child, for anything he would miss a game revered team of which he knew every player. As a teenager, he loved to accompany his father in the stands of the stadium to watch the many victories of the ASM, which won the Coupe de France in 1980. Until then, the prince had always refused to sell the shares of this jewel so dear to his heart to foreign investors, despite numerous proposals from the Middle East. Last summer, a Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, the principality had already approached to buy the club. The man then turned down the polished palate ... But against all odds, that the newspaper revealed that the Team Rainier's son had recently met with the same Dmitri Rybolovlev to give him the DSO, against 200 million euros! A secret meeting had even taken place between the two men in early December, the palace, to formalize this agreement. In fact, the prince, took by the throat financially, would have no alternative but to sell the club heavily in debt. But accepting is the most happy that Albert would fly his childhood, finally ... Christian Narbrière He had always refused to sell this gem so dear to his heart This translation is horrible, sorry.

www.people.com/people/article/0,,20553487,00.html?hpt=hp_t2 ROFL they didn't make "wedding of the year" People magazine have bestowed that on WillKat with a cover proving once again everything FatAl and trashyTranny touch turns to caCa ;P "Prince Albert of Monaco lives a bleak period, if not an ordeal, which began early last summer." oh this describes the non dynamic duo to a T (loving this) much like the duke and duchess of windsor the longer they expose their shallow, hollow lives the less any chance for respect of relevance can happen. they are such losers because they are so proud of being shallow party people with nothing to contribute and it shows every time they are shown doing "nothing" but at another party. her plastic surgery also marks her for a lightweight and insecure person, let's face it, they're perfect for each other.

I don't like Albert anymore. I don't like Charlene, I think she used Albert and married him just for the position. I think she is an empty bimbo. Said, that, I don't wish them anything bad, just wish them move out of Palace and let Caroline rule Monaco.
A long time ago, I read an interview with Al when he was a young prince. He had just graduated from the University and was working with his dad. He was learning the "business" and he was eager to be the best heir for Monaco. Big dreams! Hard work, so he said and so his father said. At that time, I really like and admire Albert. I thought he was going to be just wonderful! Unfortunately, something went wrong. I don't know what or when, but it sure went really wrong. He was looking for soo long the perfect princess, and he was in such pressure to marry somebody to have heirs. Although, his dad took care of that when he changed the Constitution. He should have chosen better. There was no need anymore for him to have children, I don't know why he chose so poorly.
If he is so bad with finances, why doesn't he hire someone who knows business? I just don't get Albert, all I know is that he messed up big time by marrying his bimbo.
And, OF COURSE!!! Wills and Kate are # 1 now! They are young, beautiful, and with a lovely love story. Albert and his wife cannot beat youth. Simple! Plus their story, instead of being a love story, became a cheap Opera! Drama, drama, and more cheap drama! Who likes those shows? I don't. Especially when you have a story like Grace and Rainier to compare! Or Carolina and Stephano. Now, that's a beautiful love story with a tragic ending, like a good Opera. Talking about them, IMO except for Pierre, the other two kids are dating some ugly people! With money perhaps, but as ugly as they can be!!! I feel sorry for Carlota's girls, if she has them. They will NOT be as beautiful as her, Caroline, or Grace. With such an ugly man, her kids will be half the beauty they could have been. But again, it's just my opinion.
Anyway, I just wish Albert would count his losses and walk away. Unfortunately, their egos are sooooo amazingly huge, he won't.

They lost any chance to convince people that this was a real love match when she made that horrible dead fish smell face as he kissed her after the civil ceremony. The picture made its way around the world as an iconic photo, usually along with repeats of the runaway bride rumours.

Sometimes she says the truth!

Anybody see the NBC special on Wills and Kate last night? It was lovely. And they stated that Kate was now considered by everyone to be Fashion Icon! So she's become "The Princess of fashion" - even though she never sought that title, and by everyone's estimation is so much more than that. That's probably why CW has decided to claim to be the "Heart of Children" now. She's hopeless in the fashion department - just hopeless. And you're right, Margarita, about the wedding kiss photo. That spoke volumes!

Well they still have some in the flunkie press still trying to peddle this crap as a love story to their most lunatic readers. Here's the latest from Gala. How is complices translated? "complices" we have that word in spanish too. It's...(in the sense they wanted to use) like they are very good friends. They share everything. It is also use to describe two people that have participated of a crime, one of them made the crime, and the other knows about it, but doesn't say anything to the police. That is the other meaning, and the most used in spanish ;D

Hi everyone. Let's keep this thread for opinions about any media items about Albert and Charlene's marriage. I moved the great discussion started by Peoplewatcher about Albert and Charlene's marriage to this thread: Relationship: True love, Fake, or One Big Con Job?Please continue the discussion there.

It would be useful if threads with today's comments were bumped to the front. I have been lurking in here for awhile and never search past the first page.
Also, my original point was addressing Albert's and Charlene's apparent naiveté and unpreparedness when it comes to media coverage and the Internet. Not sure what is served by moving the conversation.

"Also, my original point was addressing Albert's and Charlene's apparent naiveté and unpreparedness when it comes to media coverage and the Internet." Of course they are not prepared to have the "other" side of the story! NOBODY is allowed to tell the truth or they going to jail!!! They are not naive, they are dictators! Where there is no freedom of speech!!!
I just feel like the guy works and the gal just rests... nice princess you have Monaco! Compare her to Maxima or Kate! Even Letizia! They don't stop working, not just going to fashion shows, but to charities, etc.

From what I gathered these past few days, MC is already down. Within a few months the situation has incredibly deteriorated. And this is from what I hear only the beginning.
