Thanks to french paid sugar loonie, that always keeps getting the lastest new in the looney world, but never put a link (hey, maybe she needs more cash to put a link, so far she is only in charge to write the latest news of Albert and Tranny) i saw in Monaco's oficial site, Palais Princier, that the happy madly in love couple that everybody loves will be in Nepal from October 24th to 26th. Here's the info: Visit by T.S.H. the Prince and Princess of Monaco to Nepal From 24th to 26th October 2011, T.S.H. the Prince and Princess of Monaco will visit the humanitarian structures set up in Nepal with the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation and associations from the PrincipalityPalais Princier

of course, it doesn't take THAT long to get trashy ready for a photo op. It's not like they are actually working. They are after all on their way back from their pleasure trip and need at least sth to justify the journey. Otherwise people in MC might ask if these two do anything besides partying and wasting heaps of money.

Strange that we didn't have any pics yesterday, and not now. Maybe tomorrow they'll be on the net? Why annunce this on their oficial site if there's no pics of them everywhere so their flunkies can drool over?

I've been on vacation and just arrived home to read that these two wackyos went to Nepal? Nepal? Are they kidding me? This is a woman who hasn't been able to find the time in 5 years to sit still for one French lesson and she has the time to go to Nepal? With all due respect to the Nepalese --- Of what consequence is Nepal in the world order that these two ninny's feel like their presence is required or welcomed? In other news --- I read that the Prince of Wales this week referred to Catherine as "my darling daughter-in-law". I wonder what charming phrase Prince Rainier would have to describe Trampolina?

I would love to know your opinion about the two-month later release of a photo of Albert and Charlene's "humanitarian" visit to Nepal. 1.Do you believe that the editor purposefully chose a photo of Albert and Charlene in donned in leis in what looks more like a vacation than a humanitarian visit AND placed this photo under the front page headline: "Investigate the real effects of the crisis"?
OR
2. Do you think that the place new PR person (in his full competence) decided to release this photo to the paper, right before Albert and Charlene again go abroad, to calm the stupid plebs in Monaco that when the dedicated hard-working Prince and Princess go abroad they really aren't vacationing but working really really really hard saving the world as they did in Nepal. Investigate the real effects of the crisis

The photos probably are being released now, because tomorrow or in a few days these will go to Durban, they will have more photos, and that would make a supposed effect that they work very hard in humanitarian issues....pr move, i guess. The only thing that pictures reflects is a hideous Charlene without make up, an older Albert, and the sensation of being two selfish rich people in vacations

A similar picture to this was out a few weeks ago, only they had their hands folded, paying respect at the village shrine. Only 1 picture then, same limited view.
And no, it didn't make much sense then either, usually the press can't get enough pictures in "unusual" outfits (the flowers) and doing charity work when it comes to princesses - around the same time Mary of Denmark visited a refugee camp and there was much more coverage.

LOL ALbert looks like a prize ox in that pic. the article is inside the issue on 2 pages. And yes it is a pr thing. They are trying to make them more present in the paper since they are not present themselves. The choice of course is awkward. MC matin is owned by the family so they can't really do much. But where you have no freedom of press, they tend to send their message in other ways. The kind where you can't really punish them. They can always justify the frontpage, but considering that this is a PR thing and they were probably demanded to put a pic of them on frontpage, they probably just swapped the original pic for this one and slapped a palace prewritten article inside. Shows you the incompetence of the new press guy as a person with knowledge would have asked to see the final layout of the page, or provided one to start with. You would not see a presidential campaign manager ok this kind of frontpage. Obviously in the US they would not be able to control this and try to spin doctor this, but you can be sure that some people would get really angry to see this kind of frontpage.
