Hilarious comments - and so polite! Clearly CC's team includes Marianne Amelie lol She hovers to plant the same info (after being chided for her swipe at Regine (?) ) God, we used to be so passionate about the topic, like other things. Interesting the comments below the article...

It's Albert's birthday today. Happy birthday everyone.
Why didn't anyone ask what Charlene got him for his birthday? A snake in a bottle perhaps?
And whether she forgot to buy it or waited until the last minute.

Albert and Caro attended a concert for the 200 years of the carabinieri. CW was not there. Maybe the german magazine wasn't exaggerating things...

Caro is still the strong lady of the principality... Charlene nobody - somebody that appears and disappears.. as a tourist.

Right? Remember when they shut down the Monaco board at Royal Dish because it was 'too heated' there aka Charlene is not to be discussed in a negative light but the Casis can be called anything you want? I mean I don't go hard on Charlene, because it's pointless, but her poor performance as Consort after 5+ years, proved we were right that she was wrong for the job all along.

Albert launched the 2017/2020 campaign Monaco Explorations, at the Oceanographic Museum, renewing, some 120 years ago, the marine scientific explorations initiated by His great-great-grandfather, Prince Albert I.
The Yersin, ecological research ship with the Monegasque flag, will leave in August of the port of Monaco. It will follow a route for a 36-month journey around the world.
Ten internationally renowned scientists whose primary objective will be to select research programs and ensure the selection of projects. Science will therefore be the basis for the approach, which will be complemented by awareness-raising, communication and mediation.
This was broadcast live - It was very good! The video is very cool!
BUT JMO Albert still need speech lessons... and still no Charlene to support him.
Yersin is the name of a doctor, plague?

He is was always really a loner being more connected to his man friends than to a woman. what a waste.. Daddy Rainier must be rolling knowing he picked the wrong person to be in charge. Go Caro Go!

Proof like Trump refusing to denounce the Syrian gas attack because his buddy Putin might take umbrage? Whether Rainier liked it or not, he had just one son and Albert is the rightful heir. I agree that Caro is strong, but it's easy to come off this way when you have somebody to take the reins of power. Would Caro have been able to go through mourning, raising her children, her illness etc AND be Monaco's monarch? Let's call her an ace in Albert's pocket, for sure. fr.mediamass.net/people/albert-ii-de-monaco/celibataire.htmlIt is over!!!! Finally! We knew it all along, of course, and most of the world. Now Albert knows it too. "Si l'on en croit les dernières rumeurs de nos confrères monégasques, Albert II de Monaco et sa compagne se seraient séparés. À 59 ans le cœur du prince monégasque serait-il de nouveau à prendre?" the last rumours are that Albert II from Monaco and his completely unsuitable companion are separated. At 59 years old the heart of the prince is again for taking (something like this) Edited: Ooops! Apparently, it wasn't for long. According to this he already had an affair and married secretly. fr.mediamass.net/people/albert-ii-de-monaco/scandale.html

Yersin is the name of a doctor, plague? This one, I think. Got the plague bacillus named after him. Though there is also an Alexander Yersin, an entomologist. Donna, I suspect that might be a fake news site. I came across a page claiming Albert's phone was hacked and his nude pictures were published all over the internet... Too much news there to be true. Edit: see thisFake news, charicatured, media experiment... Besides, German tabloids have been publishing the divorce for months. I seriously wonder if their readers have a) memory issues and/or b) logic issues. How can you believe/read/buy a magazine claiming on its front page the exact opposite of last week? Today living separate lives - marriage over, next week pregnant or the saviour of the country.

Let's hypothesize some more and say that Israel has sights on "colonizing" neighbouring Syria next. And that's why Kushner et al are courting Russia so bad, because ultimately it IS about Syria. Russia is probably in a sweet position to make people dance, because of the UN veto and Putin will whore out to the highest bidder. Sadly, it will mean more human casualties for the sake of aggrandizement. When will people ever learn that human life is NOT disposable? I condemn the use of chemical/biological warfare too, and I lump rampant drug use inside that definition but I digress. Russia is cold, in more ways than one, and opportunistic like all other players. To discuss the domestic politics of Syria, I would have to read John McHugo on that but I haven't had the luxury yet. Suffice it to say, it's not surprising given how badly Trump is doing, that he would start WW3 with an act of aggression. I just hope he'll see the "political capital" of rolling back his punishment of Syrian refugees. Such hypocrites... As per Caro, since the Ballets Russes Monaco has had a relationship with Russia through Serge Diaghilev when Russia was still Tsarist I think. We need to come up with new models for modern monarchies. Set aside the fallacy that the demos had no power in overthrowing their regents when they were not satisfied, and there should be a happy balance somewhere. Smaller countries are such fertile grounds for experimentation. Just saying. Well this is entertaining - there is another story in that publication that says that he will abdicate.... ?
