Here's another event in Monaco that Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE.According the this article in the Monte Carlo News (there are lots of photos of all the other guests), Albert attended the Junior Commerce party at Zelo's club in Monaco. I guess he chose not to be photographed with all the other guests - which he does sometimes.

Here's another event in Monaco that Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE. Before Charlene attended an event at the yacht club for the youth, Albert had attended their end of the year awards in December. The curtain falls also on the 2011 sailing season in Monte Carlo and the budget is always full of events and live sports on the big blue Monaco: from celebrations of the 10th edition of the prestigious Monaco Classic Week, for which the Sovereign HSH Albert II , President the Yacht Club de Monaco has paid tribute to the club Monaco regattieri giving them the YCM Awards 2011 with the Trophée Credit Suisse.

So, there must be 2 reasons for Charles absence at most events with Albert: a)she is lazy , b)her marriage with Albert is fake: they have separate lives and she she only sometimes pretends to be a wife/princess. Yawn, how boring is this whole "drama", those 2 put people to sleep.
I agree that PA may work more than most European royals, but he attends all those little events, various photo ops, instead of truly ruling Monaco, how he should by his country constitution that gives him a lot of power. Albert is too lazy to use this power.

Albert is too lazy to use this power. Agree with you 99%. 1% : don't think he is too lazy - to me it looks like he lost passion and has no plan. If he got "back on track" and fired+hired the right people (+got rid of that con artist) he would do a good job. But he is stuck in this situation and lives in a very isolated bubble. Locals are afraid to tell him the truth + wake him up and foreigners don't care/ have no access.

Here'a another event that Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE.[/b] On January 30, 2012, Albert opened the street named after Guy Brousse. Let me repeat, Albert attends a variety of events in Monaco that deals with all aspects of the principality. The Con Artist Princess of Monaco only attends the events that serves the photo opp image that she is trying to portray - and of course those events that is highly publicize with her hopes of seeing herself on magazine covers (which recently have been VERY FEW!).
A much loved Monaco Guy Brousse and his memory a street in the Principality was named after him: it is the covered walkway between the Théâtre des Variétés and Biblioeteca Princesse Caroline. Inauguration enriched by the presence of HSH Albert II Sovereign , who unveiled the plaque dedicated to a much loved Monaco, who made the theater a hallmark of his life. Also present were the Minister of State Roger Masseron the minister, the mayor and the Baroness de Massy Marsan.
Touching words by his niece Laure Brousse , who gave a short speech on behalf of the entire family, present at the inauguration, underlining the good fortune to have known this great grandfather - (..) who had a passion for culture, proud its principles and the national colors, proud to be Monaco. A man of character and value with a huge heart and was able to convey these values to his family - citing childhood memories, my grandfather always in his study and his grandmother in the kitchen - He was small in size but big in heart. He loved his work, cooking, life, his brothers, his wife, his grandchildren. And his memory is still with us today - Inauguration and intimate gathering, organized by the municipality of Monaco with its first citizen Georges Marsan, recalled the figure of the man who made his mark in the history of the Principality (in a few minutes walk of the highlights of his speech) .
Princess Antoinette, sister of Rainier III, remembered him well - the only one true heart and soul of Studio Monaco -

Well, no Charlene because she can't be center stage at any of these events. Plus she has absolutely no interest in them - not enough press for her. Too local. JMO>

In 2005, PA stated in one interview to Swedish evening press that he will not obligate his future wife represent to all the events as he himself will do.

The Pope cancelled on the dynamic duo yesterday (or today). I can't imagine why. Maybe he doesn't want to be seen with a Prince who can't be a father, married to a gold digger who he was living with before this and bragged about how many people he slept with. Really, was anyone surprised?!

Well, that appears to be a much needed slap in PA's face - not that it'll change him in any way - but at least he got it - and there are what - 2 billion Catholics in the world - some of them will notice this, and maybe tell others! Good for The Pope!

PA will give the awards of this 3D venue and visit the gala on Feb 8 8.30 p.m. as usual. The sovereign is the visitor of honor at the Imagina Fair which runs through Thursday evening at the Grimaldi Forum.
He was accompanied by David Tomatis, cabinet adviser to Prince, previously head of this show. The sovereign was able to test the latest innovations in areas such as urban planning or medical imaging.
The Chamber of Economic Development of Monaco (CDE) was also on deck. She participates at the Imagina for the fourth consecutive year. " We want to attract new business in the Principality, says Elisabeth Ritter-Moati, director of investment and promotion division of the CRC. It is necessary to show that Monaco is a special place, both locally and internationally . " Albert uses a graphic table Albert looks at a monitor as he uses a digital camera to make a dental scan Albert wears 3D glasses

Quite strange that she isn't there - lots of people from the wedding are there... I don't find it strange that Charlene is not there. When Albert goes some place that he truly loves and really wants to enjoy himself - he does not bring his media-whore wife with him. It really is that simple. Besides, the Con Artist Charlene suckered the Jackass of Monaco into believing that she likes at least trying out all the snow activities that Albert does - so she doesn't have to pretend anymore and freeze her ass off in the cold.
