wonder who bought the flowers, not quite the way you hand a bouquet of flowers. Usually they are much better arranged. 3 different wrappings, one of them looking like package paper?

the garderie is in fact not new. The venue has been a garderie, though private I believe, before. Apparently they closed the garderie which was located in the same building as Habitat and Nike. It was on top of the piscine. Wonder what they will be using the location for now. btw the garderie is not a daycare. It is a place where you can leave your kids for a few hours when you do not want to put them in daycare. I used to put mine in one a few hours per week, so I could get things done or just have one for a few hours for quality time. You need to plan this ahead though. The place which was in Larvotto before, was more spontaneous and also used by tourist so they would not have to watch their kids whilst at the beach Thanks Paca. What I find troubling is that they spent 1.7 million euros ($2,253,860!) renovating a drop-in center whose maximum capacity is 21 children. That seems a bit excessive. Here's the video and as you can see there really is no warmth between Albert and Charlene. But, Charlene's number one French flunkie states that Charlene is too busy listening attentively, and thus she cannot smile. Clearly, even her personal flunkies know that she cannot do two things like smile and pay attention at the same time. I wonder if they spoke French or English to her. HSH Prince of Monaco and Princess Charlene visited the brand new day nursery, now installed in Larvotto. It replaces one that was located on St. Charles Ave. This project, which cost 1.7 million euros, now meets the premises of the Mini Club and change rooms. Comprising large bright rooms, this drop-in center is fully equipped for young children. The Mayor has also formalized the expansion of the nursery in Monte Carlo a couple of places, meet a growing demand for Monaco residents.

It is excessive, but you have to remember that a lot of the money goes into private pockets ;D I don't really see the point for such a giant aquarium. Yes they are at the beach (where the kids can go see the fish swim in their natural environment), but honestly this aquarium needs to be looked after and that costs money as well. The place is made up in a way that IMO if they find someone willing to take it on, it can be easily changed into a lounge, which probably is the thought. I know the old place and they could have done sth really nice for a lot less then this. We had an entire school built in Beausoleil for that money: maternelle and primary school plus canteen and afterschool garderie. This amount is way over the top. Our school was built from scratch and they had to pay extra as they wanted it finished at a specific date. Here they already had everything there and only renovated. And it is not like they have marble or any expensive materials. The most expensive has to be the giant aquarium, which takes up heaps of space which could be used for the kids to play. IMO this was not really planned for kids and their needs but rather to impress.

That is a hell of a lot of money to renovate a part time day center for kids. It seems redundant that they keep getting them to come around to show support for kids' places when they have none and he ignores his illegitimate ones. Kind of odd..
