I went to the Mass and Fête-Dieu procession this evening. It was as usual. They had the Italians with their amazing cross and banners and the fraternities from Nice and Gorbio participating all with their banners and costumes. The couple did not attend Mass at the cathedral. I expected to see them on the Palace Square with chairs set up as last year but when we got there I saw nothing and then the procession made its way inside the Palace. I followed and thought it was weird. My little camera on hand, I filmed what I could until we got inside the courtyard and one of the guards gave me a sign to stop my film so I had no choice. The procession stopped. The couple was upstairs in the gallery. Mr and Mrs had two pewter chairs they were on the right side of the double stairs in the gallery and Caroline was a bit further down the gallery. The Mrs was dressed in black. She had a sleeveless top - what big arms she has! Huge! The Mr was as usual and Caroline was all dressed in black with a black veil. They all kneeled when the bishop presented them the religious items. The Mrs was almost invisible hiding behind a pillar. Then she stood up and so did the Mr and Caroline. They waited until the procession made its way out and went back inside the Palace. They did not walk down the stairs to salute the Bishop, nothing. The Mrs can't be that sick because of the "angine" can she? It's the Procession that went to them rather than them going to the procession. They are so self centered! Not even the Queen does anything liike this. I will upload whatever videos I have made on my Youtube channel tomorrow and will post them on this thread. I think the one in the cathedral will be very nice. The ones in the Palace are more uncertain. Let's see. There is a nautical event tomorrow evening on the harbour which I intend to go to. Let's see if they show up for that.

Charlene with her 12 year-old mentality is the only kind of wife Albert deserves. Someone should explain to this silly con artists that those who will fall for her "I'm am so sick" believed the ridiculous lie about not going to South Korea because of a sore throat. So there is no need to fake some left over sickness for them. She looks like she is constipated or strung pout rather than sick. I don't blame Caroline, I'll move as far away from these two idiots as I possibly could also.

wow how did you manage to get these pictures? was some journalist allowed to do the pictures and I was refused? grrrrr.... such ugly arms - i would not wear anything sleeveless if i had her arms - looks really bad this is exactly as I saw the three the two women did not look happy at all it was visible even from a distance i wonder why these spoiled brats always show their ugly faces - Caroline really looked dark and the other one showed her unhappy looks they did not seem to care what was going on down below them - funny how they don't want to participate and they call themselves catholic? they sure keep away from regular people - they don't want to mix

I think that Albert and Charlene must have had a big fight. Their body language is very distant. Hopefully he will get sick and tired of her and realizes that he is better off admitting a mistake and moving on than sticking with her. Time will tell. I think this weeks NY Times diss about their marriage was the final straw.

That's how I remember it. Usually the procession end with a little bit the courtyard and family members up on the gallery. Obviously last year they couldn't do it as they were setting things up for that wedding.
Fatbert looks annoyed, trashy looks clueless. You can tell that she only does these things for the official services and at no other occasion. She still does not do anything naturally. that trash can't even get things right that small kids manage to do for their first communion. She is hopeless. And fatbert looks like it dawns on him that he will forever have to be her souffleur and tell her what she needs to do and what is going on because she is too daft to get it on her own after so many years. She had plenty of time to get to know her small country and its customs way before she moved into the public eye. She could have done that all on her own whilst sitting around not doing anything. There is no excuse for her still being such a baby with everything. Maybe fatbert thought it was cute or endearing at the start, but I doubt that he will continue. He is not known to be patient.
Anyway the trash doesn't look sick at all and I don't think she ever was. She simply didn't want to go because her mates are about to come and she can't be suffering of jetlag and look tired when she wants to show off. Just watch how she will be beaming the coming days. They needed an excuse for her as people would have expected her to go seeing that she barely does anything.
I will have a great laugh when the SA swimmers find out how badly they can prepare in MC and eventually perform worse then expected at the Olympics. Because if that is the case, it will fall back on her and the coaches will be asked if it wasn't a huge mistake to go to MC so briefly before such a great "events"
Caro looks tired IMO. (and half the size of trashy...shoulderwise)

The body language tells us, doesn't it. I can't believe that Fat Al doesn't care that his role as the sovereign of a Catholic country demands that he make an effort to attend (not observe from a balcony) significant religious events. What a jack-ass!

A friend send me an e-mail with a photo of Charlene in the green dress and in the angle you can see that she has something strapped to her waist. It looks like a little box of some sort. Any one guess what kind of medical device that could be? A monetor for the heart would be up higher. Hey may be it's one of those police minders so she can't escape! Ok that was bad, but seriously she had some kind of gadget underneath that green dress.

This is video n° 2, a totally unpretentious video of the procession walking inside the Palace. I was walking in with the procession and making my little film when one of the palace guards signified me that I had to stop filming in the palace courtyard. I wondered if they would come and confiscate the chip card in my camera as I was walking out with the procession but they didn't. I was not there to create trouble and had no pretention to sell my little clip to any of the media. I don't see why they stopped me especially that they were other members of the media. Maybe Kim Jong Albert and the wifey don't like to be filmed by those not belonging to their close guard? Everywhere they let people make their own videos of Presidents, Kings and Queens when they go out in public but obviously not in Monaco. They did not let me finish my work! I wanted to film the whole time when the procession was in the palace but was stopped by "the authorities". So this is what's left of my little video. Well, I don't know how it was this time, but usually there is a religious bit taking place in the small chapell. This is supposedly a religious event, ie a service, so it isn't really appropriate to film or take pics (they don't allow this in museums either). I know they do film certain services, but generally I think people who take this seriously would feel disturbed. Although this does have more of an entertaining/show effect ring to it, there are still some people who do take this procession thing seriously. As an outsider (although participating actively several times) I found this mostly amusing. Then again it is not my culture and thus to me this is without any meaning. I have to laugh everytime the guy with the megaphone walks around, trying to get everyone stand where they should. Especially when he stands right next to you and is talking to you. And he is so serious and full of himself that he doesn't even get how ridiculous he is to someone who is not that into these things. Also the dressing up of the different groups is inbetween ridiculous and pitiful to me. To me they never managed to give the entire procession a dignified air. Neither the fete de dieux nor the vendredi saint or ST Devote processions. They are way too folkloric for that. their problem is IMO that they can not really decide if they want to do it seriously or because it adds sth for the tourists to take pics of. Pity though as if done with more serious they could be so much more....

They are way too folkloric for that. You nailed it. It's theater. It has very little to do with religion. Monaco? Catholic? What a joke! No wonder the Pope cancelled his visit to the Principality! ;D

i remember us commenting on that box on her back in the green dress......was it the amber thing, don't remember, the non dynamic duo don't inspire much to file away.
yep, bet it's something trying to get her pregnant, she has no heart so it can't be that, she sold it at the same time she sold her soul for the tiara
thanks for sharing madame, how pretentious can you be, having people file by like some kind of evil lord. GAWD (puking icon)

It's a box that monitors your heart rate, if I'm not mistaken. You wear it for a short time to get test results. It follows oftentimes drops in pressure when a person complains of dizziness and/or faints. Okay, I know deep down everyone here is a big teddy bear at heart so I'm going to issue this post to CC if her flunkies can be so kind as to relay and know we all pride ourselves on our senses of observation and deduction more than just random opining. You guys can bash me later, heck I'm already giving the girl fashion advice - traitor that i am! So, CC, that heart monitor thing we spotted is a bad sign. The article that follows talks about the clinic I guess is used. Some people overdo cosmetic surgery, and don't get back up from the operation table. nymag.com/nymetro/news/trends/columns/cityside/n_9981/Back to our regular programming.
