Thierry Roussel is a sad excuse for a man, never mind a father. To have had to be raised by the woman my mother was broken-hearted over would have made me schizo, and for her father to deign make it look as though he was a more responsible parent than Athina's mother because he settled down with his mistress is repulsive. He only did so because he had one speed as genitor - stay home and f*ck, pardon my French, and thanks to the Onassis money. Athina is a far better woman than me for keeping a lid on any anger. She has too much class for her roots and upbringing, too much grace when she should have been living it up instead of all the selfish people around her. I think she's a woman of integrity, class and passion. She's still quite the catch IMO. She can have whoever she wants.
Actually if Albert were smart, he'd pick Athina as his next wife. She has my vote.

Athina deserves way better than Albert or that pathetic husband of hers. She is a young woman, why would she waste it on an old geezer like Albert or on patching sth that is bound to not last. The trust she had is gone. She would never be able to see her husband the way she used to. This time he got caught. When she looks back, she might find cause to think it wasn't just one off. She is no Hillary Clinton, who can see past this, because of her own plans. She doesn't need to be with a man for his money or status or to get somewhere. I wish she would find someone supportive of her, someone like Victoria found in Daniel, someone who loves her as a person and is a true partner. No pint wating your youth on undeserving men.

Firstly, I don't think Albert is devoid of human emotion and therefore is able to offer far more support and understanding than we give him credit for. Secondly, we're not all such blind romantics to believe you can line up one love after another as if they're interchangeable. Your notion of romantic love, I'm sorry to say, is immature and in self-gratification gear where it's stuck. Maybe her husband was her Daniel but it eventually failed. Monaco was as much home to Athina's grandfather than Greece was. He was embedded in it. Athina would have a place there and be well surrounded. Her equestrian pursuits dovetail into some of Monaco's activities and she has glamour, the natural kind. She's more princess than CC will ever be. Plus, she has her own money unlike every roturiere princess so there wouldn't be a golddigging theme constantly overarching every instance of life. I repeat. If Albert were smart, he'd make her his second wife. Whether Athina would be interested, is another matter but I think she might chose belonging strongly to one place, over drifting into no man's land. I personally see little appeal in life in South America.

There are honorable men out there, she just needs to look outside the horse show world.

Athina is paying out $11 million in her divorce - a million for each year of marriage. (If my non-existent Spanish or Portuguese is right...) elpais.com/elpais/2016/06/29/estilo/1467221174_733059.htmlIt's embarrassing for a Latin man to take money from a woman especially when she's technically the injured party on top of it. I could see a weakling like Roussel accepting that but some "virile" horseman? He's definitely not noble. She's much better off without him. Maybe he'll make an industry of selling his services now. Hire-a-sire. Did he even procreate? Then he'd only be good to ride at circuses. Pity. He seemed to be more than just a whore. Athina does deserve better. But when you're that rich, your peers are few and money is always the elephant in the room. A man like Albert - if not Albert - has know the pitfalls of being lost in one's blurred affections, can relate to some degree of isolation by reason of archetypal parents and trying to be the author of your life. They are kindred. Too bad Caroline didn't have another son, it would have been perfect. Athina would have gained also a matriarch for a mom. I just want to hug her. I hope she has a good aunt somewhere.

It would be a double standard if I didn't agree with Refia and support Charlotte getting married but somehow I feel she's going to pull an Albert and not be an early wedder. Seriously though, I do hope she settles down with Lamberto.

I'm not even the most conservative person, but I want to see some stability for her. Andrea certainly profited from this, he doesn't looks that unhappy anymore. Plus I want her to be Dona Carlota ;-)

If this is her new bf, she really has a type. He looks also like a younger version of Lamberto.

I think this one looks cuter. Plus he is Carole Bouquet's son! Talk about glamour power. Melina said that "Charlotte is dating a married man with a child" which is NOT true. Dimitri has a kid, yes, but he is no longer sentimentally linked with the mother. She really likes to put Caro's family down to elevate her princess trashy to the sky. What an awful old bitch.
