I have only seen the version that was posted. For some reason though I can not access either of the 2 videos. Not sure if they have changed it or if that is only a problem here. I do believe though that after the universal ridicule they have received they made CBS remove the video. All the sites that had it embedded have just a black screen coming up. There is a printed version on CBS, but it is not at all accurate as the interruption of the interview came not when Albert was asked about what attracted him, but when the question was posed to trashy. Albert had no problems answering any of the questions. And they have answered the questions before. If you look at the interview they gave at the Oscars.
I have no ways of knowing what the pr made CBS edit out. I am judging by what I have seen. I have read a few publications that seem to be not very accurate with the details of the video. They seem to be bent on making trashy look like prison bride when in fact she just comes across as immature, childish and downright dumb. I don't really see why they had CBS remove the video as the footage is out there, people have seen it and commented on it. The damage is done. People just don't get it that they need to engage their brains before talking into a microphone or even before allowing an interview. Look at the damage Romney is doing to himself already. ANd I don't think that his wifes statement about cry baby Romney will be good PR either. Before consenting to an interview you need to think about what you want to achieve and what the interviewer wants to achieve. It is like a game of chess and mostly the journalists are the better players. With Albert and trashy they don't even need to send out their good players.
I don't think that the Piers Morgan interview is happening. The one he did with Romney and wife is pretty long. It wasn't live either. But trashy and Albert don't get through 3 questions pre taped without staggering, so I think either the palace will need forever to preview it, or they simply cancelled it. Thus far I do not see the interview for today announced....

I do believe though that after the universal ridicule they have received they made CBS remove the video. All the sites that had it embedded have just a black screen coming up. Paca, based on the responses I read at the places that Charlene's personal PR team, her flunkies, family and of course Lynette spin their tales, I'm pretty sure that they hassled CBS to remove the video. all of these fools are blaming the negative reaction to the video on CBS and not Albert and Charlene's actually responses, behavior and attitude during the interview. Albert is answering all these questions because the prisoner brides myth that most in the public mistakenly believes REALLY TRULY bothers Albert - as would most men in that position. But, Charlene is upset about the prisoner bride story for different reasons than Albert. Albert knows that he is not keeping Charlene prisoner and made her marry him. However, Charlene is upset because the serious media hasn't bought the fairy tale princess story that she wants them to buy. Charlene wants to be adulated and worshiped by everyone and it bothers her that she isn't! I don't really see why they had CBS remove the video as the footage is out there, people have seen it and commented on it. The damage is done. People just don't get it that they need to engage their brains before talking into a microphone or even before allowing an interview. Look at the damage Romney is doing to himself already.
The fact that Albert doesn't see Charlene for who she really is - immature, childish and downright dumb- is going to be the reason for the continually downfall of Monaco's image as Albert and Charlene continually whore themselves to the media until someone does the infomercial that they want. Albert will continually try to shine the shit he imposed on Monaco and made the new image of Monaco. The Charlenification of Monaco will be Albert's historical damage to Monaco.

It's crinkled.. she is incapable of learning... /photo/1/large Based on all the comments that I read from Charlene's PR flunkie team, I knew they were going to do another interview. Charlene and her team of flunkies - and Lynette - actually TRULY believe that Charlene did well on the interview. They feel that the CBS editing and their conspiracy to promote Kate and William was the problem with the interview. Albert is Charlene's stupid sucker. Albert is a fool who is too foolish to see what a laughing stock he and his marriage really is. Albert is supportive of Charlene and is still having sex with her because he is still investing on producing heirs in this marriage. Albert is a childish buffoon himself who feels that by marrying an Olympian he will produce future Olympian babies - and babies with athletic traits or more important to him than any intellectual social or cultural traits. Albert feels (mistakenly I believe) that since he has invested over $75 million dollars on Charlene and this marriage he has to stick with it or else people in Monaco will be extremely angry because a divorce so soon will indicate that he WASTED their money (although their money was actually wasted on the CHOICE of the bride) Albert has no balls! For all these reasons Albert will continue to give interviews with the immature, childish and downright dumb Charlene. Charlene is vile vulgar vicious and vindictive, but Albert still believes with their right interviewers (sucker upper like Piers) he can make Charlene shitty self and their shitty marriage SHINE.

The Piers Morgan "replacement" interview is similar to the Nice Matin "replacement" interview that the palace used to replace Charlene's fiasco engagement interview with Patrick Poirve de Arvor - where Charlene's true self shine through for all to see - immature, childish and downright dumb! The morning after the PPDA interview aired, the palace had Nice Matin to publish the photos of Charlene with PPDA along with the Nice Matin palace supplied Charlene interview as Charlene's OFFICIAL engagement interview. The palace felt that people's negative impression of Charlene gained by their direct observation of her dumb crass and arrogant behavior that shine through the television screen would just disappear with their replacement interview of hers. It didn't work.
So watch - the Piers Morgan interview will be heavily scripted and once the palace gets the infomercial that they want, the will place the link on the palace website as the OFFICIAL 1st anniversary interview of Monaco's fairytale couple. They will expect everyone to forget anything that was presented during the CBS interview. Charlene's PR flunkie team will hit all the royal message boards praising the Piers Morgan interview as the REAL interview by a professional reporter as opposed to the one conducted incompetent tabloid CBS News (which is what they are calling CBS) reporter.
But in reality, the CBS News interview conducted in the palace was supposed to be their OFFICIAL 1st anniversary infomercial interview. Their plans backfired - as all their other deceptive plans have. When will these two learned that they are only reaping what they have sown?

I am amazed how little humility these two people have, especially Charlene. If I where her I would be embarrassed to show my face in public for a very long time...instead, she just walks around with that stupid smile and takes pictures like nothing happen, like she never said anything stupid and like the whole world is not laughing at her. You must have a very thick skin, no shame or no brains to be able to do that.
As for how good they will come across in Piers Morgan's interview, lets wait and see. I am not expecting miracle in any way...I think is going to be usual PR fluff piece in which Piers will do his best not to embarrass them, after all they are in England during Olympic and this is no time for some "serious interview". Also, after the latest interview with CBC Piers know what kind of morons he has in front of himself. Personally, I don't like Piers interviewing style and questions...he is definitely not Larry King.

RP, recall from Charlene's Australian interview conditions spoken by her flunkie, Charlene doesn't like doing interviews with women reporters because she feels they are too catty. Realize, all of Charlene's original contact with her sycophantic media mouthpieces (Paris Match, Bunte,m Point de Vue and Gala) were all men. Later, she had a female flunkie from Paris Match who lived in Monaco as her mouthpiece. I am guessing this silly drag queen looking woman believes that male reporters are more likely to do her bidding.
Charlene's success with her original media mouthpieces has deluded her into thinking that she can control the media. She is too dumb to realize that Albert's stupidity in believing this sycophantic pres was more responsible for her success in striking goal than her actually media savvy in controlling the press.
I don't think that Albert and Charlene will ever do a live interview. They have a lot banking on this Piers Morgan "replacement" interview and I am sure they have controlled every segment of it. It will be an extremely fluff piece and all Charlene cares about is that she gets to say her practiced lines about her foundation and all that she will do for children all over the world.

To show how predictable outcome of this interview is....; -Piers will start with introducing them as an Olympian "royal" couple -call them modern and contemporary couple -every time he mention WC he will say how simple and charming she is -struck their ego about there Olympic "accomplishments" -talk about similarities between WC and P. Grace -give them chance to explain run-away bride story -and of course talk about their endless charity work

Here's an official transcript of the segment that was broadcasted on the U.S. I a still amazed how inarticulate Charlene really is. Notice her response to the simple question: "What prompted you to make such a generous gesture?"What in the hell did she say? Important to note that after only meeting Charlene briefly, the reporter doesn't believe that Charlene is being held against her will. But, the "prisoner bride" belief is different than did Charlene "runaway" (or temporarily leave) Monaco at all once hearing about the possible babies rumors - which is what I believe that she did to "show" Albert that she wasn't marrying him for his money.
SHOW: CBS THIS MORNING 7:00 AM EST CBS News Transcripts July 24, 2012 Tuesday
HIGHLIGHT: Prince Albert and Princess Charlene discussed their marriage in a rare interview with Holly Williams, who is in London this morning.
ERICA HILL: This is wild. Look at this video. This is what happened when some tourists were looking at glaciers off the coast of Iceland. Huge chunk comes crashing down creating a massive iceberg tsunami. The ice wave actually comes right at them, forcing them to crank up the engines and speed away. We were discussing in the studio some of us may have cranked up the engines and sped away perhaps a bit sooner but the video is lovely.
CHARLIE ROSE: Yes, it is.
Welcome back to CBS THIS MORNING. The prince and princess of Monaco celebrated their first anniversary this month.
ERICA HILL: Prince Albert and Princess Charlene discussed their marriage in a rare interview with Holly Williams, who is in London this morning. Holly, good morning.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: Good morning, Charlie. Good morning, Erica. Well, it`s not every day you get a personal audience with royalty even if this particular prince and princess are perhaps less well known than the more famous couple who live just down the road here in London. We sat down with Monaco`s head of state, Prince Albert II and his wife, Princess Charlene at their palace and afterwards we were even invited along to the swimming pool.
(Begin VT)
HOLLY WILLIAMS: In case you missed it there was a royal wedding last year watched by two billion people worldwide. But the second in line to the British throne wasn`t the only European prince to tie the knot last summer. Just weeks later in about eight hundred miles due south, Prince Albert of Monaco married Charlene Wittstock, a former Olympic swimmer from South Africa. It was a glittering ceremony studded with celebrity guests.
Really nice to meet you, I`m Holly.
A year on the couple invited CBS THIS MORNING into their home.
The seven- hundred-year-old princely palace perched on a cliff top above the emerald waters of the Mediterranean.
May I ask how is married life?
PRINCE ALBERT: Well, I think it`s wonderful. I-- I can`t speak for Mrs. Charlene. But she will be able to answer you. But we`re-- we`re having a wonderful time.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: May I ask you also, how is married life?
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: Great. I recommend it.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: Prince Albert`s family has ruled Monaco since the thirteenth century. The tiny country is less than one square mile in area. But what it lacks in size it makes up for with its wealth.Monaco is famous as a playground of the super-rich. As residents they pay zero income tax and they`re not shy about showing off their money. It`s a big change for the former athlete whose father was a photocopier salesman.
So how is it being a princess?
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: Yeah, it`s-- it`s great. It`s-- I don`t know how to answer that, honestly. What`s it like being a princess?
PRINCE ALBERT: To-- to me, one second.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: At that point the prince asked for the interview to be paused. It`s clear his wife is still finding her way in a very different world from the one she grew up in. The last princess ofMonaco and Prince Albert`s mother was Grace Kelly. She brought Hollywood glamour to Monaco in the 1950s when she married Prince Rainier. The press called it the wedding of the century.
Your mother Princess Grace was an icon of beauty and style and elegance and some people have noticed some-- some similarities with your wife. Were you at all struck by their similarities when you first met?
PRINCE ALBERT: No, I think you know every-- every human being is unique. And that`s the-- that`s the beauty of the-- of the human race. I-- I knew that whoever I choose to marry, that she would be compared to my mother and I was ready for that. But I think Charlene has her own very wonderful personal qualities to-- to-- to be able to shine.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: And which qualities, may I ask, drew you to Princess Charlene?
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: Oh, gosh.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: A palace official decided that question was too personal, perhaps, understandably given that the couple`s private life is the source of constant tabloid speculation. At fifty-four, Prince Albert is twenty years older than his wife, dubbed a Playboy prince by the media, he fathered two children out of wedlock. When he finally decided to settle down, many in Monaco heaved a sigh of relief. But the wedding was marred by rumors that the bride was having second thoughts.
Just days before the wedding, French newspapers reported that the bride had tried to run away and fly home to South Africa. Then, during their honeymoon, there were stories that the prince and princess were staying at separate hotels.
When you-- when you say those stories, when you hear those rumors, how do you cope with them? How do you response?
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: I mean to be honest with you, I really do not read anything that`s printed. I think rumors, the word is, says a lot about itself, I suppose.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: And a lot of those stories presumably a-- a just nonsense to your mind?
PRINCE ALBERT: Those rumors were completely unfounded, completely untrue. And it was very unfair to, the-- the--and we know the source. But and we`ve been able to deal with that. But it was a very unfair treatment.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: Princess Charlene retired from competitive swimming five years ago. But now she`s returned to the pool-side to host the South African swim team, as they prepare for the London Olympics.
What prompted you to make such a generous gesture?
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: Well, you know opportunity presented itself to the team. I just thought, you know, I would like to extend, you know, an offer to the South African team to-- to come and acclimatize here before-- before London.
HOLLY WILLIAMS: One of the young swimmers is Chad Le Clos. He will be competing against Michael Phelps in London.
CHAD LE CLOS (South African Olympic Swimmer): I think nearly every single person that I see on the street will come up to me and, ask me, "Have you met the princess?" I`m like, "Yes, we were inMonaco. Yeah, we`ve seen her a couple of times." But, you know, it`s been really awesome.
The princess told us that she sometimes misses competing and that she loved the discipline of training. Long before she met Prince Albert, this was her world. Now the determination that made her a champion in the pool is helping her adapt to her new job as a princess.
CHARLENE WITTSTOCK: I don`t know. I`m still in the process. You know, it`s a process, everything is a process. And-- and I think I`ve got a bit of time on my side, so-- yeah.
(End VT)
HOLLY WILLIAMS: Well, there you are. That was my brush with royalty. I was actually surprised at how informal they were. I had to call the prince and princess Your Highness, but the palace officials said I didn`t have to curtsy.
CHARLIE ROSE: So, Holly, now back safely in London, what is your assessment of-- of this relationship? And-- and I`m serious about this, you know, the sense of-- of what it is to be in the limelight like they are?
HOLLY WILLIAMS: Well, I only spent about half an hour interviewing the couple. At times they looked uncomfortable but then so might many of us if we sat down and answered questions about our relationship. I certainly came away with an impression that the princess is a strong woman who wouldn`t be forced into anything she didn`t want to do. And who clearly is determined to do a good job in her new role as princess.
CHARLIE ROSE: Holly Williams, thank you so much.

Isn't the Piers Morgan interview Live? How can they take that risk? Even with all the rehearsing? No it is not. Mitt romneys interview was taped as well. You need to be really good for a live interview. From what I gather from his twitter account, the interview took place this morning. The pic was posted around lunchtime. He then went off to the stadium. he had a few more tweets in the afternoon. As opposed to his Romney interview (he is following him now) he did not post anything other then the pic from his trashy interview. I believe that was taken at the end of the interview judging by trashys crinkled dress. So unlike with romneys wife, they sat down. and by the looks of it on the rooftop of a London Hotel.

Piers Morgan on CNN airs at 9p.m. (EST) here in the USA. Most people will be watching the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics on NBC. Actually, there isn't a large TV audience on Friday evenings during the summer, so there aren't many people who will actually turn their TV's to CNN at 9p.m.

Wait and see.

I don't believe Piers tapes his interviews. I thought he liked a live format because he likes putting people on the spot. If he likes you he will softball the questions, and if he doesn't then he does the "tabloid" gottcha questions. Larry King seldom taped an interview and if he absolutely had to to get the interview, he'd announce it upfront that it was taped. I don't believe Piers was desperate to interview this couple, but may be there was some special other person he wanted to interview and Albert promised him he'd set that one up. Then, I think he might agree to a taped interview. I actually don't really think in the case of Charlene, it's going to much matter, because as we've seen, even the taped ones are just short of a disaster. If they keep throwing hissy fits, nobody's going to want to ever interview them. It would be a waste of time and money. JMO

It will be aired while the opening ceremony takes place and Albert will be present. It is not live an neither was Romneys. Go to his twitter account and you can see some details. They were actually helicoptered to different places during the romney interview. Romney has caused himself already so much trouble in Europe, that his people would not allow a live. They are too busy damage controlling. European press is having a field day with his clumbsyness and ignorance in international matters. Even his choice of countries is being mocked. He is lucky that most Americans don't read international press or concern themselve with international politics. That said, I think you are deluding yourself thinking that Morgan has much of a choice who he wants to talk to and under which conditions. He is a journalistic lightweight. He may have a perception of himself or how he wants people to see him, but actually he is quite a twat. And he knows it; look at the creepy twitter pic. The guy is just short of getting into their butts. this will be an all fluffy interview. Don't expect any difficult questions. They never get them. Otherwise they'd be confronted with some real journalists and not some realityshow recycle... Might as well have the Kardashians do the interview...

Looks like tonight there will be part 2 of Mitt Romney and not trashy and fatal....at least that's what I gather from his tweets and his blog. That gives the palace more time to view the footage. I don't think it will be aired so soon. I don't think they will risk another CBS desaster.
