I love that inscription! They could have written Princess of Hanover or something like that but they went with the Crown Princess of Monaco title instead...nice!

Is she still legally married to Ernst von Hannover? This whole Caroline story is hard to follow... The 3 Prince/Princesses have no idea of what moral values are about...

officially nothin has been stated otherwise, but it is odd that she would be referred to as Grimaldi rather then von Hannover as she should be. Seeing that they worked with her for the inscription, maybe they have quietly divorced. Since von Hannover is a name and not a title she can, like every divorcee, continue to us her husbands name.

After the divorce is pronounced (if ever) she should not have the right to using the Princess of Hannover title anymore? Seems logical.

It is not a title, it is by law a name. No one can force her to give that up. If a couple splits up and the woman has carried the name of the husband it is up to her to decide if she wants to continueto carry it. Ernsts name is ruled under German law and hence in case of a divorce that would also be applicable. What they do in former nobel families in private is their business, but if Caro wants to keep his name, then she can and there is nothing he can do about it. Divorced women often keep the husbands name if their are kids, so they all have he same name. Besides you would need to change all paper work.....

I love the aigue-marine stones. Also, her arms are very nice and toned and she wears the sleeveless look very well. But where's the true star? Choupette!!!

the top is a bit unfortunate as it makes Caro look heavy in the middle. I also don't like it with the skirt. I would have liked the skirt to be a dress. With the top it looks a bit granny to me. I like the make up and the jewellery. She needs to stop abusing her hair. It looks like mice have been at it. She used to have great hair. What happened? Does hair change that much in structure when you age? It looks like she has had a perm and then blowdried it. And rounded the whole thing of with aggressive hairdye.....
Didn't trashy claim to be friends with KL? So where is she? Not invited or busy with surgery?

I would have assumed even some of the Casiraghis would have turned up maybe... I noticed that about her hair. Stephanie also is hard with the hair dye. I don't know why they don't switch to organic dye aka henna. It nourishes the hair. Also, as I suggested to CC, one or two Brazil nuts a day apparently helps hair and slows down graying. Again though, smoking doesn't help and health issues stay encoded in your hair too. If she wants some, mine is the size of a tent in this humidity, and my hairdresser is out of commission from a shoulder injury. I'm starting to look feral!?! I'll gladly give her some. It's the same colour as hers pretty much right now. KL is doing something right with his hair (aside from the ponytail). She should ask him! I saw his bathroom vanity recently. He uses La Mer. He should gift her some. I'm so hitting the duty-free when I get there!

LOL KL uses hairshampoo to keep his hair white. He doesn't like it's natural grey, so instead of hairdye he uses dry hairshampoo...

It's not so much the texture of the hair changes but the volume does. Some women suffer terribly from hair lose during menopause. Then there is all the hair coloring for those in the public eye - every three weeks at most or the grey roots start showing. Many women go much lighter than their original hair color trying to not have to dye all the time which ruins hair.

ok, thx. I hadn't noticed with women in my family, but then they didn't dye their hair. Just went to grey. I think that Caro might have tried a perm to get some volume in as well as the dye. And perms really are the death of hair. Elizabeth Ann perms her hair and has pretty much ruined it. In cases like that IMO the best thing is to cut it short to get rid of the damage and then start fresh with a good cut. IMO wth a good cut, most hairproblems can be solved. And a good hairdresser knows how to solve your specific problem with a good cut.

It's to save their own hair. If you look at women past the age of 70 when the body is really starting to age, you will notice that many have very thin hair. My Mother said her hair thinned as she got older and she just cut it short and went grey. I'm not looking forward to seeing if this happens to me too.

Don’t worry Hibou! Short an grey is beautiful. It depends on how you wear it and who you are! I am 42 and have a friend who looks great with short and grey hair - she is 64 and fantastic natural – I look forward

LOL it's part of life. QEII eventually decided to go grey and she looks great. Don't think it is a wig either. But then again she has been wearing her hair the same way almost all her life, so maybe it's a wig too. I know Sophia loren is wearing a wig as she doesn't put it on very well. I think at a certain age you just have to embrace your age, the grey and make the best of it. Just like the wrinkles. My mom always had short her and from what I noticed over the years, only the colour changed. So it might bedifferent depending on genetics. Hopefully Caro will decide, once she is a granny, to go for the grey instead of dye. Once you have the face to go with the grey, then might as well go for it.

With her blue eyes, it should look good. I have a ton of white growing in at 44 and had to forgo the black henna a few years ago. I look forward to it all being white actually so I can just wear it fully natural. From the weight of my hair, fortunately it's not kinky and the fact I don't overshampoo, use the same shampoo as my dog (baby shampoo lol) (we both use the same conditioner, mine!) and don't use the hair dryer helps. My hairdresser prior to her shoulder injury was starting to highlight my hair to harmonize the white. My sweetie likes it, my ex doesn't recognize me (good!) but the thing I don't like is when you wash your hair the highlighted hair feels so bloody coarse!

In New York she is still "of Monaco" as opposed to "of Hangover " ..wonder what kind of "fairytale" she is peddling to the Yanks now ?? I'm sure it will be no less than 150 dollars per head anyhow...
