Absolutely no photo of Caroline and Charlene alone. Caroline looked peeved to be photographed with her even in a group photo.

I can't help it. Lagerfield looks to me like someone's shady Uncle Frank whom the family never talks about.

I've been wondering about Monaco's "Brand" for the 21st century. Maybe it should be "The Russians are Coming. The Russians are coming!"

Astrid Munoz is the best dressed IMO, and a man named Alessandro Satori (?) however what's with the no socks on these Italian men in tuxedos? Bleurk. Caroline looks divine, I love the black ribbon, the peek-a-boo shoulders and her shoes. She and Bono look like old chums. That's all I've got.

That's all I've got. i dont mean to fixate on the tux trousers but i am seeing some crumpled up, like Al's, and some a bit higher and properly measured. what is the norm? or just personal choice. i am not crazy about the lens the photog used. it makes the feet and legs look really skinny, unless that is just the cut? also this can be the results from a tall photographer. while i am ranting, the "smiley" look for Natalia, the hostess is not the best. Miri, the violinist, who i thought was Phyllis Diller's daughter, once had a curly hairstyle which i prefer. this one is a bit wild. i do love her music. Sorry to see Caro allowing to be photographed with cancer sticks. her kids are into it too? and Karl is just being Karl. all he needs is a whip.

The hostess's relationship to Arnault's son must be serious if she's getting involved in charity work so early on. It looks like a dressed rehearsal but doesn't totally look authentic, judging by the crowd. Caroline really shouldn't have been there and I'm surprised though not entirely that Lagerfeld would be involved however he is a pragmatic business-minded person and playing to the Russians is just that, pragmatic business and if Arnault is dipping his feet, then the rest shall follow I guess. This was really a CC gig, except that Arnault père probably required more caliber.

I thought Charlene's dress was gorgeous - for once. Did anyone, however notice the huge spot (oil?) on the left side of her dress (thigh area?). Otherwise, I thought this was her best look since William & Kate's wedding.

the dress was fine, but the problem is that she is always wearing this same colour and IMO nude is really not a good choice anymore. First of all because it makes you look just that, naked, and it really looks boring, especially if the rest of you looks boring too. It just makes her look like she isn't there. The dress in a different colour would have been a much better choice. Not black or dark blue or white, but there are plenty of other colours. A nice green would have been good or a nice golden brown. But seeing that she is so big I really wish she would wear a pattern All these monochrome outfits just look so boring and the same. I would really like to see sth like Caro wore a few years back to the red cross. It was really colourful and summer and of course Caro pulled it off nicely.

I liked the dress too but the color was insipid just like her makeup...she needs to color the hair those dark roots ain't pretty. I read the dress was Versace..... I liked Caroline's dress too.

I thought the dress was a watered down rehash of Jean-Paul Gaultier a few decades ago. The bustier didn't sit well and her flat bum seemed to be the highlight. She doesn't have a face to pull off monochrome with any drama. She's no Daphne Guinness that's for sure.

I also wonder if she realizes that all these beige and nude tones make her disappear rather than be the center of attention. She literally fades into the background in these choices. JMO

trashy net is reporting that in the Italian press there is an article about trashy being jealous of Gaby Thyssen, who was seated next to Albert at the dinner. Aparently Albert enjoyed the company a little too much. Well the way trashy is seated at the table I am not surprised he did. The Begum surely has had too much surgery herself, but at least she has some manners and has had some education. other then that I don't have anything positive to say about that golddigger and golddiggers daughter....
