The kids birthday is on saturday. They turn two. Daddy and mommy threw out a pre - birthday party today for them at the Monaco Yacht Club...
Pic 1 * Pic 2 A 2nd birthday party at a Yacht Club rather than a playground? Oh, wait .. this is Monaco and the Yacht Club is the playground. #sadforthetwins

Two years old ...and no parents... and I thought I had seen it all.
unforgivable - it's so bad!! there is only 'one day' and thats is the birthday. that the mother is not present on the birthday... I'm really in shock!

Photos of the twins' birthday party at the Yacht Club. Gabrielle is adorbs -- looks like her grandmother, Grace. Sadly, Jacques is still a Trashstock! www.therealmyroyals.com/

I agree it is their 2nd birthday you would think at least one of the two would be home! I would rather spend the birthday with my child than speak at some summit in India - sorry....

Bunte mentions the birthday of course.... they wouldn't miss an opportunity to drool over the twins and CC... *rolleyes* www.bunte.de/royals/fuerstenhaus-monaco/fuerst-albert-und-charlene-von-monaco-so-herrlich-normal-feierten-ihre-twins-2-geburtstag.htmlThey've pics on the palace FB page, too: www.facebook.com/palaismonaco/photos/a.1422209647791570.1073742170.286449344700945/1422210317791503/?type=3Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene celebrate the 2nd birthday of Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella with a jungle themed party. Along with their godparents, friends from the Red Cross Crèche-Garderie and similar aged children of palace employees, the guests arrived at the Société Nautique de Monaco on Le Petit Train for a wonderful safari adventure of fun. Of course they couldn't keep this a private family affair. No, it had to be a public event (I guess, this will be the case every year now... the twins are the only way CC and PA get some attention) and of course the theme had to be safari/jungle... anything SA is gooood, anything Monaco is baaaad.... but CC is the fu**ing Princess of Monaco and not SA... Yes, the boy is all Tittstock and the girl has inherited CC's huge hands... she's gonna be a big person... poor kid....

I don't think either of the kids is cute, though Gabriella seems to have come with brains, whereas her brother looks as daft as his mom and uncle. They don't have any charisma either. NOt like Estelle or George. remind me more of the bland Belgium kids. Even the Danes look more interesting and interested. Caros boys are said to be not the brightest, I fear the same goes for this one. Brains apparently only come every second or third generation with boys....

I'd really like it if we went back to not criticizing underaged children on this forum.

and I wished that these kids would celebrate their birthdays in private like all the other royal kids and not being paraded around by their parents. Even Albert enjoyed more privacy then his kids are being allowed. There is no reason these kids need to be dragged into the public other then on few occasions like NH or for official family pics for xmas. All other royals only release new pics for the occasion, but don't pimp out their kids. They invited a whole creche and took them by tourist train to the yacht club. All kids they never met before. At that age you celebrate with family and friends. Children you play with regularly and enjoy spending time with. Peoplee with whom you are creating memories. Anyone else have birthday pics as kids with no one knowing the names of the people in it?

Still. It's uncouth that we waited until the other kids weren't minors, to start treating them like public figures. I'm always appalled that mothers don't understand that concept.

Is anyone else picking up on all of the twins being born to rich celebrity and some royal couples? It's mildly disturbing with all of this messing with mother nature... It's like a crown of glory to use artificial methods to preform these tricks. Now the Clooney couple. Beyonce and J-Zee. Who will be next? I hear it costs a fortune but the couples use for their own PR and attention-getting.

All the women you mentioned are 35+, my sister also tries it now with ivf. Sometimes you and your husband have the perfect eggs and sperm, but the woman still can't get pregnant through the usual 'procedure'and then you need some help from a doctor. I wonder which royal gets twins next.

I hope for Stephanie of Luxembourg... Success to your sister! Thank you Yeah, I wonder when Stephanie will have ones. I recall her saying during their time of engagement, that they wanted to wait 2-3 years, now they approach 5 years. If she can't have one, it's no big deal imo, since Felix and Claire have already two. It's just you have to prepare the next heir, so hopefully good news this year?
