It's interesting that she has an art exhibit in Monaco right now. Again she stated in the Eringer post that she does not believe charges will be filed. She could be just another opportunist to get press for her art show, but does it make sense to do it while your show is in Monaco where she could be thrown in jail for making statements against the sovereign? My guess is that the palace will dismiss it as another Karen Mulder situation. The police will not prosecute because of Albert's immunity. I think this woman knows it, and may be the art show is her way of getting attention on what happened. Albert's flunkies may have thought the show a good way to discredit her? who knows but the fact that it was filed does Albert no good. So much for his PR team.

Hibou ;-) " So much for his PR team" might soon turn into "Too much for his PR team" ;D Sorry; I'm mean ... but it would be good for everyone if they lost control right now. And so much fun to watch...

the case is even worse then the one brought against JOhnny Halliday a few years back. Also filed in Nice, also allegedly happened on a yacht. Must have happened around the same time the woman made her statement to Eringer. Why to him I wonder, but it sounds very similar to the Halliday rape case which stirred up quite some French media, possibly more then Albert would, seeing that Halliday is a "monstre sacre", whereas ALbert is just a prince and from Monaco as well, so people don't expect him to have a good reputation. Anyone interested should google the details for the Halliday case and compare with this one. sounds like a copy/paste case to me, with another woman seeking the spotlight for her own reasons. The media has shown that it pays, so anyone with a need for money and/or recognition and access to a celebrity can chose to play this card at some point, making it for real victims much more difficult to proof, even if they report to the police straight away.

btw, the art show is at the Ni box, which is NOT an art gallery, but a venue for entertainment for youngsters, who are unlikely buyers. It belongs to the Pastors, a formerly strong family in Monaco. apart from the NI activities of one of the younger generation, it has gotten rather quiet around them...

These cases are always so hard to prove. I tend to side with women in these situations until proven otherwise only because, for the real cases, no one tends to believe them. Given Albert's reputation as we now know it, makes it more credible -- that and the yacht girl photos from around the same time. Regardless, the timing of this does Albert no good at all. I'm going to throw this theory out there: What if the anti-Albert group who had heard of this story encouraged her to file it? The timing of it before the wedding is no accident, but greed and press might not actually be the motive. Just a thought... What are people saying about the wedding?

I don't hear talk about it. It's not interesting yet. people have other problems. Friend of mine is happy though, because her husband get's an extra day off, just the day we finish school for summer. I think those who leave town for the F1 will not be there anyways as they repeat the mistake they made with the Tour. they are hyping it up speculating with immense numbers, that make local people want to run a away. Personally I find it's getting trashier and noveau riche every day, with the Wittstocks getting more and more into Ben Ali mode (no wonder his clan lived in the Hotel de Paris for so many years and bought a building across the Grimaldi Forum...they must be really sad that Tunisia kicked them out as they were good business for SBM and thus Albert) and since no one can say what they think openly in Monaco without feeling repression, they will continue until those running the country realize that they do no longer benefit from the Grimaldis financially and with them heading the country, they will never get respected, which would make a clear cut necessary. Rainier paved the way for Monaco getting into EU. now Alberts government is doing the contrary because they realize that at present they have a protected market which grants certain revenue for some and allows for others to have a nice additional income when sining or stamping certain permissions and papers. These sources of income would be closed as soon as they become EU member and people do have rights, where now they need to beg and pay. It would also mean that they would actually get better qualified people taking over jobs for less money. The country would benefit, but those who are privileged now and who benefit from the corrupt system (including the Grimaldis who sell citizenship, which is illegal in the EU) are now doing everything to protect themselves. So quite the opposite of what Albert promised them.

I have just spoken to a friend and now I understand what you are saying.
the police will especially benefit from information from medical research, statements of witnesses who saw the victim shortly after what happened, and additional evidence (blood and semen stains (English?) .
If the recherché has completed the investigation and finds that there is sufficient evidence against the suspect, the dossier will be forwarded to the Prosecutor.

Don't remember all the details, but there are similarities with this one. Since it's the same prosecutor he might have the same deja vu as me and be on his guard. They will have to pursue this though as there is a supposed crime and they are not allowed to put it aside unexamined. In any case he is not at all intimidated by big names. He was sent to clean up Nice and that's what he tried, even if it meant that the Nice system would through mud at him. Happens here all the time. You step on some ones toes and they try to ruin your reputation instead.

here is a link to the similar Halliday case, also prosecuted in Nice. they don't go into details, but Nice Matin reported regularly. I don't remember all the names involved, but I think Vo also gave a written statement to someone about the rape. It did happen in 2004 it seems. Please note what Halliday says: even if you are innocent, sth always sticks. As I said befor e JOhnny is a monstre sacre in France. he is unlike any US or British celebrity and that for a very long time. His state of health is matter of the news and people have more interest in his health then they have in their recent and past presidents' health. If he ever dies, they will treat it like a national tragedy www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/1447783/Hallyday-rape-charge-like-a-bad-novel.html.

Thank you paca,
Maybe Éric de Montgolfier knew nothing about the medical document fraud…
I’m sure Montgolfier is no fan of Albert / Monaco

Thanks paca for the info. The press on this is really bad for Albert whether it's true or not. I remember from an old forum a comment that someone posted from a papparazzi who followed Albert saying PA didn't treat women very well. Wish I could remember -- might have been as far back as the old blue forum.

Thank you paca, Maybe Éric de Montgolfier knew nothing about the medical document fraud… I’m sure Montgolfier is no fan of Albert / Monaco the medical fraud came out during the process, as well as links of the alleged victim to the police. there where loads of twists and turns in the whole affair. Montgolfier was prosecutor not investigator, so he had to go by what the investigators delivered and apply the law. In some ways this is also similar to the ongoing Kachelmann trial in Germany, where a weather guy is accused of rape from a former gf after she found out that she wasn't the only gf

Ok, I now who he his. My bad English…sorry! But there is no real proof that this person is lying. That is why rape is such a tricky subject…
Men should not sleep with women who they don’t now, are mentally unstable or use them for sex.

The woman victim said that she was in counseling. Maybe her therapist recommended that she file this complaint to aid her in her recovery. Sometimes when the woman tries to just forget it and move on, she never really can because she continues to feel like a victim, and seeing Albert's picture all the time and him representing himself as this great guy could be agitating her. At this point, since I don't know anything really about this woman, but have a really low opinion of how Albert treats women, I believe that he did this and has done it to other women. And Charlene standing by him while he does these things, tells me a lot about her. On the art show, maybe she has an agent who recommended that she show her art at this forum to get some publicity. She has to live on and support herself and may not be able to be choosy as to where she showcases her work. I doubt anything will come of this and the woman seems to indicate that she expects nothing. I believe that Albert has immunity, so Nice authorities probably will not waste time on it, unless they have more women come forward. One would think that if it is a lie, Albert would sue to regain his "good" reputation. JMO ;D
