I'm not sure Meghan will "measure" much. In today's world of political correctness and neo-orthodoxy anyway, false humility has been mastered as an art to moralize others on. People wouldn't realize they're doing it. Look at some entertainers who are so brash yet switch into humble mode on a dime. It's uncanny.
I caught the two last night on the entertainment shows, and I love Harry's little French concession. Good job! I think the two not sitting together at the opening was respectful of tradition which convinces me it's serious, and the little walkabout together hand in hand before a tennis event was a great nod to her without being OTT. I think she is a great complement to him. In spite of her fame, she doesn't volley for the spotlight. I think she makes him look good. If anything, I take offense with her old beau who's pitching a pilot about sharing custody of a child with a British royal ~ how blunt, crass etc. There's always some guy in the background who can't just let go.
Also, Bruce Springsteen will perform at the closing. I only know absolutely every lyric of every song on The River, from even before I was fluent in English Such fun. Anyway, it's always a good deterrent to future wars than to see veterans fighting new battles on the homefront. #peace
