Paca had mentioned the below comment in another thread, but i will respond to it here. I was here few weeks ago, I have to say I didn't find too much change. then you didn't notice the closing of banks and shops? The xmas lights at the casino were extremely downsized to previous years, the xmas market at the port practically empty and from what I hear residents leave the country asap as they can on weekends and holidays. The orchestra will soon be only about half size plus they are not finding a new chef. The good =, young musicians are leaving for other orchestras to pursue their careers as MC does not offer them a prospectve future. Everything cultural will be downsized or is bound to disappear. Construction that used to be solely financed by the state is now going to be financed privately, hence things will be decided by private investors and that is where the majority of the money will go. With the judgement of Albert and his lot, they will do major money laundering via public construction projects. ASM has been sold to a suspected murderer (there is no smoke without fire, especially in Russia). The economic strategy is to cater to rich Russians and that is their only strategy. Ultimately they are turning MC into a Russian mafia holiday resort. That will keep any decent people away. But that of course will be perfect for trashy and her lot as they will have the perfect environment for themselves to prosper. Monaco is really seriously doing very badly in all aspects of the country. I have stated this several times, but I haven't posted the many many articles confirming this. I saved many of them, but Sandsla comments about the Monaco Ballet and Paca's comment about the cultural downsizing reminded me of this last September interview with choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot about the slashed budgets and merging of three cultural organizations - Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Monaco Dance Forum and Dance Academy. Recall, Charlene's goal is to make Monaco the fashion capital of the word - meaning she wants everyone in the world to think that she is the Fashion Princess (best-dressed) of the world. This woman doesn't give a flying shit about the cultural life of Monaco. From the Monaco Matin:
The Ballets of Monte Carlo are restructuring
Daphne Manuel Thursday, September 29, 2011
The Ballets de Monte-Carlo has not been immune to fiscal discipline.
There are a few more days, they lived in the theaters of Madrid and Biarritz. The fifty dancers of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo will make their (r) between October 21, on the stage of the Salle Garnier. Next stage, it will be appreciated, between light and shadow, Opus 50, the director choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot, Earthly Dearest Friend, Marco Goecke and The Death and the Maiden, signed Petr Zuska. Behind the scenes, that's another part that is played. Fusion of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Monaco Dance Forum and Dance Academy, fiscal discipline and new perspectives ... In this "complex reality", the ambition of Jean-Christophe Maillot home, traveling between artistic vision and financial imperatives .
The company was merged with the Monaco Dance Forum and Dance Academy. How this merger is organized does? The ambition to unite the three structures is from an observation of practice and a genuine desire of the Princess of Hanover. These three associations are all aimed in different forms to talk about the choreography. It appeared necessary, in a small country like Monaco - in size, to streamline operations by combining the three. And as there are to date in the Principality, budget problems, I think the government saw in this project, the ability to generate savings. This is not that simple. The difficulty is how to organize the restructuring of all three associations in the short term, into one single association, legally. It would combine the Dance Academy Princess Grace, whose function is to train young dancers, and the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, which of course can use the school as a pool, while maintaining its ability to create and dissemination of choreographic art under the label of Monaco in the world. I also think she is the artistic structure in Monaco, which has the most possibilities for the dissemination of the cultural image in the world. And then the Monaco Dance Forum, Monaco offers the public a greater diversity by hosting events or contemporary academic. Finally, the structure around the dance in Monaco, Monaco allows the public to see what is the best on the international stage today, but also, and importantly, it can continue to create "made in Monaco "and present it in the rest of the world. There really is a perfect complement between the three structures which allows for a unique center for the dissemination of the choreography.
Will there be cross-functional projects? Of course! For example, the pianists of the company will also accompany the courses at school. Professors who teach in the company or school s'interchangent. This, in order to create synergy. The idea is also to streamline the administrative order to simplify the structure. What should be done gradually and sensitively. It is true that there, budget cuts do not help make this transition quite calmly.
Were the three budgets merged? The three budgets have been cut in the same way. The entire structure is experiencing a budget cut of about 10% over two years. This requires us to review the operation. The challenge is there. It is a very delicate tightrope exercise. It is about finding the right balance between not too decrease the activity, do not pay this too much to staff. The dancers, in particular, operate with great flexibility and tolerance to situations imposed. The 2012 season will ask us to make efforts in all structures in a coherent whole. The duty of a director of cultural structure is to respect what is given. I am very proud to have always kept my balanced budgets for twenty years. This is because we make the effort, not because we have more than enough.
Do you have sponsorship by the banks? We have a very special relationship with the CFM, our sponsor, and I understand that it will become a partner much more important to allow a financial balance.
The creation in all this? Of course, this does not encourage creativity. The reality is that a complex structure like ours works two or three years ahead and for now we will not know until October 2012 our budget. This means that we must achieve, again gently, to keep or delete the planned activities without straining to see people in the profession. Ambition, I've still a lot. I have always worked in this, I strongly believe in the reality of the moment. My ambitions (they are pretty simple) is to maintain this level of excellence of our own, to offer a Monegasque quality and level of demand that can discover what is best. And hope that this financial situation is only temporary. But we have every reason to be a little worried. It is very difficult to have perspective as it is not clear what the intentions in the medium term. We should soon get an idea of what the future holds. I hope so, anyway! "

I am going to respond to the below portion of Sandsla's post in this thread. ... If anyone has some empathy for Caroline, they can support her by seeing Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo that is currently at the Segertrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA (across from South Coast Plaza in Orange County). I wanted to support the ballet, but I did not want to step foot in Monaco because that would be supporting the idea of Charlene at the same time, and the idea of that is sickening. I imagine this is probably posted somewhere else here, but the ballet will be there for a few more days, so if any of the California girls are interested in giving a much deserved nod to Caroline and the idea of Monaco B.C. without the offense of supporting anyone else. I imagine it is traveling through the states for the other ladies. Instead of Albert and Charlene heading to Hollywood so Charlene can try to fulfill some delusional dream that she actually matters in America and prove that she is better than Kate, they should be trying to highlight Monaco's cultural events. But, I am sure Albert must realize by now that his trashy bimbo wife will NEVER EVER influence anyone that cares about the arts to support any cultural event that she is peddling. Charlene actually repulses cultured people. Here's an Italian article from Monte Carlo News about the Monaco Ballet being in the U.S. "Monaco Takes U.S." events of the tour U.S. for the Ballets de Monte-Carlo
by Sara Contestabile FEBRUARY 10, 2012
Absent from the U.S. since 2008, Les Ballets return with Cendrillon in Costa Mesa, California (9-12 February) and one more song and Opus 40 in New York (15-19 February) "Monaco Takes U.S. "is the series of events linked to the U.S. tour, organized for the return of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo , organized by the Consulate General of Monaco and the Monaco Government Tourist Office in New York with the cooperation of the Princess Grace Foundation.
Absent from the U.S. since 2008, Les Ballets return with Cendrillon in Costa Mesa, California (9-12 February) and one more song and Opus 40 in New York (15-19 February). The two cities are also some evenings alternranno charitable with Jean-Christophe Maillot and members of the company. All the funds raised will be paid to les Ballets and the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.
Since last February 2nd has also opened an exhibition in the luxury shopping mall, South Coast Plaza (which receives on average 60,000 visitors a day). Leitmotif of the exhibition, cultural heritage and the Ballets de Monte-Carlo (costumes, photos and video) and the role of HRH Princess of Hanover and a tribute to the influence of Princess Grace, whose foundation dedicated, celebrating qust 'the age of 30 years.
Such an installation will start on February 11 in the Forbes Galleries in New York.Costa Mesa will also present a culinary event in Monaco and a contest that will offer a trip to Monaco.

Shopping is one of her only skills ... the other is making a jackass out of Fat Al And she's not even good at THAT! ;D Charlene doesn't have an ounce of style, class or grace not only in the way she presents herself in her actions and lack of, or not in her crude mannerism's, but so often in her dress. She dresses to call attention to herself, with no regard to her hosts, the event, or the people around her. She is vulgar and nothing is more ignorant than trying to draw attention to it. Nice to see you posting again Sandsla! I enjoy reading your posts. The Financial Times of London wrote a serious of articles that were supposed to be glowing since Monaco Tourism were paying them. The most memorable quote for me is when the reporter summed up Monaco as " vulgarity masquerading as class" - and that is the epitome of Charlene. This photo below summarizes everything that you mentioned. Realize that Albert and Charlene were greeted at the airport by head governmental ministers. Albert and Charlene still haven't earned that money does not buy you class. Charlene's true vulgar self always shine even through all the expensive pieces of fabrics she drapes her body with. Charlene's true nature cannot be hidden with expensive clothes and jewelry or be hidden by glorifying paid media endorsements. So keeping shopping Chals. You will never be able to buy that respectability you so dearly want. But, you can buy all the flunkies Albert's money can pay for.

Next week Albert will be on official visits to Africa and - NO CHARLENE. Charlene may hitch a plane ride so that she can do what she does best - SHOP. Seriously. Albert realized that Charlene is too much work and a big dead weight to take on these types of trips because Charlene really is DUMB AS A ROCK Charlene adds nothing on these trips because she is not a media draw as the tabloid press made Albert to believe when they weer convincing him to marry Charlene to bring glamour (as in Grace days) to Monaco. But most importantly, it takes too much time to teach this primitive intellect woman the basics and some appropriate conversation. As we have seen, they would have to write her cue cards because she will not and cannot memorize her lines.

Here'a another event that Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE.[/b] On January 30, 2012, Albert opened the street named after Guy Brousse. Let me repeat, Albert attends a variety of events in Monaco that deals with all aspects of the principality. The Con Artist Princess of Monaco only attends the events that serves the photo opp image that she is trying to portray - and of course those events that is highly publicize with her hopes of seeing herself on magazine covers (which recently have been VERY FEW!).
A much loved Monaco Guy Brousse and his memory a street in the Principality was named after him: it is the covered walkway between the Théâtre des Variétés and Biblioeteca Princesse Caroline. Inauguration enriched by the presence of HSH Albert II Sovereign , who unveiled the plaque dedicated to a much loved Monaco, who made the theater a hallmark of his life. Also present were the Minister of State Roger Masseron the minister, the mayor and the Baroness de Massy Marsan.
Touching words by his niece Laure Brousse , who gave a short speech on behalf of the entire family, present at the inauguration, underlining the good fortune to have known this great grandfather - (..) who had a passion for culture, proud its principles and the national colors, proud to be Monaco. A man of character and value with a huge heart and was able to convey these values to his family - citing childhood memories, my grandfather always in his study and his grandmother in the kitchen - He was small in size but big in heart. He loved his work, cooking, life, his brothers, his wife, his grandchildren. And his memory is still with us today - Inauguration and intimate gathering, organized by the municipality of Monaco with its first citizen Georges Marsan, recalled the figure of the man who made his mark in the history of the Principality (in a few minutes walk of the highlights of his speech) .
Princess Antoinette, sister of Rainier III, remembered him well - the only one true heart and soul of Studio Monaco -

Here's another event in Monaco that Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE. Before Charlene attended an event at the yacht club for the youth, Albert had attended their end of the year awards in December. The curtain falls also on the 2011 sailing season in Monte Carlo and the budget is always full of events and live sports on the big blue Monaco: from celebrations of the 10th edition of the prestigious Monaco Classic Week, for which the Sovereign HSH Albert II , President the Yacht Club de Monaco has paid tribute to the club Monaco regattieri giving them the YCM Awards 2011 with the Trophée Credit Suisse.

Here's another event in Monaco Albert attended and - NO CHARLENE.
On February 11, 2012, Albert attended the twentieth gala of the Sommelier Association held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco
In this year's double anniversary, Gala XX and XXX anniversary of the founding of the Association, the Union the French Sommelier were well represented in the person of its National Chairman Mr Michel Hermet and Gisèle Marguin, Assistant Secretary in charge of communication.
As an aperitif it is in homage to the marriage of the Sovereign Prince Albert II of Monaco HSH present for the occasion, that was served Champagne Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2004, enough to whet your appetite personalities and the many guests present for this event.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the presentation of the diplomas of Honorary President of the Monegasque Association of Sommeliers to HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The President, in his speech referred to the presence of the Association at the office of the International Sommelier Association, the future competition of the Best Sommelier of Europe to be held jointly in Monaco and Italy in 2013 and the number important members of the Monegasque Association of Sommeliers (about fifty) which make Monaco a center of Sommeliers in the world.

Honestly, compared to other royals, Albert does "work" (what royals consider work) more than most of them. He definitely "works" more than his lazy con artist wife. Seriously, in a good month, Charlene "works" 3 or 4 days - then she takes a week vacation and two weeks of shopping to buy more expensive clothes to wear for her next month's 3 or 4 days of "work." Albert is at events all around Monaco almost every day - with NO CHARLENE. Prince Albert II of Monaco waits for the arrival of Palau's president Johnson Toribiong , on February 06, 2012 at Monaco's palace, prior to a meeting.Prince Albert II of Monaco (C) welcomes Palau's president Johnson Toribiong (R), on February 6, 2012 at Monaco's palace, prior to a meeting.Albert's entire cabinet came to greet the President of Palau - all except Charlene. I guess she couldn't bother to leave her home in France and come to the palace for a dress and show. Albert looks more intense and interesting at the balcony with this man than he is with his own wife

So now they not only have gGace and Rainier spinning in their graves - They've no doubt got Warhol spinning as well! Geez - what a god awful painting!!! Clearly, Charlene didn't like the photo either - which is why she DONATED it to the center. This photo was a gift to Charlene from the Brazilian artist Romero Britto. She regifts the presents that she doesn't like. The Narcissist Con Artist is proud to have a Monaco building with her name on it though. I am sure she is sending out the info to all the South African papers. Thus far, only the Benoni City Times has done an article on it. Remember, spraying (and I mean spraying like an alley cat pisses on stuff to mark his territory) her name all over Monaco is her way of getting back at all those bitches who told her to her face that she would never be Princess of Monaco. The Riviera Times has an article about the inauguration. The best thing about the article is the comments. Charlene attracts the type of dumb-ass flunkies who are dumb enough to think that because their idol shows up at an inauguration of a building with her name on it that means Charlene is responsible for the building happening in the first place. This woman really belies that the home is an accomplishment of Charlene. But, check out the second comment.

langue_de_viper | 02.02.2012 Yes, all 4 or 5 minors who may possibly endangered on any given day in Monaco need emergency accommodation. I bet she really had to pay big bucks to get this home off the ground. Why not just rent a mini-bus and leave it parked somewhere until there's a call?

I doubt that this is a photo of Charlene kissing another man in public. She is dumb as a rock, but she is not stupid. Charlene knows that Albert married her because she was great at convincing him that she truly loved him. Seriously, Albert wouldn't have married Charlene if he wasn't convinced that she loved him - even though he cheats on her. In the world that Albert lives, he will not tolerate Charlene publicly fooling around.

Charlene is DUMB_AS_A_ROCK but she is not as stupid as Albert the Jackass of Monaco. So, I doubt that this woman will instruct anyone to sue us. Really, I seriously doubt this is true.
But, if the Princess title has truly gone to her pea-brain head and she really does believe that she is invincible and godlike due to the lack of freedom of the press in Monaco then - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Charlene sue this AMERICAN for defamation of character for presenting the TRUTH about you (based on your own words and actions) and giving opinions about articles and photos of you.
This will be your opportunity to really get some American press. But, don't forget, we are a group of people who have followed you from the beginning - with your words and original photos - and in the "land of he free and the brave" America - the TRUTH is a defense against defamation of character. Also realize, we can petition to get all INTERNET records including the forums that you shut down and get IP addresses (I already have many from other forums) to confirm what some of us already know - YOU, YOUR immediate family, YOUR relatives and your FLUNKIES have participated on all of these boards.
If you think you made a fool of Albert during your wedding, wait until this is over.
See please, bring it on.
Again, Chalrene is not as stupid as the Jackass of Monaco - Albert.

It's almost as if she wants to get her name on as many things as possible as soon as possible so it'll be harder for them to kick her out when the time comes. (It won't be hard for them at all dear!) This is exactly what Charlene wants. Monaco is REALLY doing badly financially. So many stores and business are closing it is really scary. But, Charlene doesn't care. What happened to all those tourists who were supposed to flock to Monaco because of the "New Grace" - Princess Charlene? Hey Cedric (the Monaco Matin reporter who is Charlene's biggest Monaco media flunkie), how's the Charlene effect (which you predicted) working? Front page news: Snow storm and Charlene's new namesake

Secondly, I didn't realize, and I'm sure few do, that Monaco has so many children in emotional/psychological trouble that they would need to build a "shelter or home" for them. I know there are children who live there - but in 'trouble' ...? Perhaps Paca can enlighten us on this matter. But in any event, it's hard to imagine how or why a woman with CW background and history would be held up as a symbol of virtue and someone you'd want to help guide children in trouble. I know she had to struggle in her life, and she didn't come from a seemingly "stellar background", but IMO she hasn't shown anyone she has accomplished anything other than sleeping, and perhaps conning her way up the ladder - and it's become apparent it's a not a very bright ladder at that. The Monaco Matin article is being coy what the home really is. The article stated that it is a home for Children with family problems and another article stated that it is a home for children who were mandated by the court there. So, the Princess Charlene Home is either a juvenile detention center or a group foster home. It doesn't matter because now Charlene has some more photo props that she can used instead of just the two Special Olympics athletes and random children in Monaco - all of whom she can not communicate with. I'm thinking the Narcissist wants something bigger and better with her name on it - and very soon.

Every aspect of this is poorly thought out. Firstly, it's way too soon for CW to put her name on something like this - but it seems clear her ego and need for adulation simply can not stand taking a back seat for any length of time at all. IMO, she would have been smarter to have gotten credit for the idea of opening/creating a shelter like this, and then have it called The Grimaldi Shelter for Children (or whatever it is...) or The Monaco bla bla ... or perhaps some Saints name Shelter for Children. She's only held this position for 6 months. She still hasn't produced an heir, and she certainly hasn't won over the hearts and minds of the people of Monaco. All this does is further support everyone's assertion that she is a self-promoting, self-centered woman on a big ego trip. (And even if that isn't the case - it's how it looks - just stupid.) I agree with everything that you stated CM, but this is Charlene and her Jackass who has given her this "power" we are talking about. Just look at Albert - this is the man who believed that marrying Charlene was going to boost his country's image and economy. Cm, you are correct, all of this is to feed Charlene's ego. but, look at her face and her eyes - they are still dead. This is still not enough for her. Look especially at the photo of her standing underneath their trashy no-love wedding photo, she got everything that she schemed for and she is still not happy. Or is this a poor attempt of her shy Di coy look to hide her glee that she has another thing in Monaco named after her?
