in most pictures, caroline looks pretty cheerful, she seems to have a good time with her daughter. also like her outfit which to me seems perfect for that semi-official (?) occasion.
charlene is overdressed and overjeweled, as many of you stated above, for a more official event and with some alterations (sleeves e.g.) i would find this outfit rather OK and a lot better than most others she sported recently. AKRIS?
her face resp. what's left of it ;D - it seems indeed to get worse and worse. lips augmented again?!? she looks to me somewhat more chipmunky than usual in some pics.
PS: nice to see PA finally managed to discover the early-autumn-section of his closet and chose decent pants and shoes this time.

That photo is real. You need to see earlier photos of Charlene where she had DEEP DEEP wrinkles on her cheeks and underneath her eyes.... ooops, then i stand corrected, myadia and royalpauper, and words fail me because of the HUGE difference to all those other official pics! all of you are certainly more of an expert than i am (still ploughing my way through all the threads ....)

LOL, but it still would have a chance to a brain, so a step up on the ladder of evolution. Personally I believe that the 2 skulls they found in SA and which they claim are millions of years old and are telling us about the turning of apes into humans, are much younger and direct relations to the Wittstock clan. No way are the Wittstocks from the same stock as modern mankind. paca, you should sell the news "MISSING LINK BETWEEN APES AND HUMANS FINALLY DISCOVERED! IT'S ALIVE - IN MONACO!" to the highest bidding newspaper / TV channel or PA himself. now THAT would finally draw the masses and reduce the annual deficit! BTW, please transfer 10% consultancy fee to my bank account. details via PM

honestly, without being a fan of trashlene .... i do believe this photo was photoshopped, at least the cheek's wrinkles and the double chin.
around the eyes she certainly has way too many wrinkles for her age and all those surgeries, but then again, not THAT many. but it gives you an idea of what she will be looking like in 10 or 15 years.

What's good for Kate must be good for Charlene. OK, thinking the above statment must at present be the main duty of brain-cell # 1. brain-cells #2 and #3 obviously are idle / on maintenance because if they had done a countercheck one might have realized that it doesn't work for half a dozen reasons. fully agree with your comments about the peaky boobs that indeed are catching (hurting) one's eye instantly and also with the dowdy 50's housewife look. was that intended to be an hommage to grace kelly's stardom in that decade? if so - another total miss. wonder if grace is turning in her grave like a drill. just an idea: since she also seems to have gained HEAVILY round her waist within just 8 weeks after the wedding plus the protruding and way too enlarged bosoms ..... she either had crash-dieted for looking slimmer in her wedding gown or could these be signs for being preggers? just my 2 pennies. as for caroline: aweful gown that looks kimono-ish to me plus an awful hairdo. what happened to her once so excellent sense of style? she certainly cannot hide her negative sentiments for her new sister-in-law - and maybe even doesn't make any efforts to hide them. what a sad face for an event that should honor her mother but in the final end only exploits the biggest and most valuable asset the principality ever had. i dare to predict that they will continue exploiting - since she was their one and only superstar ever! you can't attract the masses with cheap copies.

these two are the incarnation of the German word fremdschaemen.... ROFL. you make my day - both thumbs up! apart from "fremdschaemen", in connection with charlene, instantly another wonderful german word comes to mind ..... "bildungsfern". IF there is a perfect personalisation for this euphemism ... then it's her princely dumbness! hugs, ellie

paca, being a native german i can tell you that this kind of 'journalism' has been the trademark of 'bunte' for decades. their target group is old and/or fairytale loving and/or naive ladies who like to see the pretty gowns royalty wears while leading their fabulous lives. i DO doubt honestly that the majority of their readers (or should i say: viewers?!) ever reads the text! believe me, i can tell. my grand-auntie (91 and suffering from alzheimer's) just LOVES that magazine. in her youngeryear heydays, 'royalty' stood for privileged, well-educated upper class, served as role-models and represented a fairy-tale life. plus the kinda clothes PC wears .... guess in the 50s they would have been considered elegant ;D. hugs to all of you, will give you a heartfeld 'howdy' in the respective thread later. ellie (at present: munich / germany)
