"highlighting a better era for immigration in the USA. " A 'better era' for them maybe because now it's nearly impossible to immigrate to the US and the new wall on the Mexican border and all. They are victimized by whomever is running the countries where they leave from! Why is no one blaming the corrupt government of Honduras or Central American countries? American is trying to take care of it's veterans, the all-time homeless people, the deadly opioid situation and a bunch of us are opposed to having to take care of the world. Yes, the addicts of America are themselves to blame for giving the cartels a reason to keep shipping in, as well.

Yes, MadameConcorde, thanks for chiming in! I firmly believe that Harry INTENTIONALLY chose her to get up the skin of the British Royal Family. He will never forgive them for their treatment of him mum. Unfortunately, he may learn that "when you lay with dogs, you gonna get up with fleas."
Wish I had a wedding watch party to go to. I'm looking!

Not everything needs to become a museum. I think its great that it has once again a family vocation as their US headquarters. Stephanie might want to keep an office for her AIDS ambassadorship. Why not? I presume the foundation will save some rental funds instead of paying high rent in NYC..

In serious news, QE2 sends Toronto, Canada a message of comfort after a senseless quasi-terrorist attack a few days back. I lived very near where this occurred, back in my model days. That part of Toronto has such a beautiful luminosity in the late afternoon and early evening, and it always feels so dynamic up there with wide open sky, a constant breeze among the newer highrises and wider main street. There's a world class symphonic theater nearby, beautiful decor shops and restaurants. It just usually has such an energizing effect. Until now, that is. Friends tell me the city is now somewhat catatonic. Its very regrettable. RIP the innocent victims. royalcentral.co.uk/uk/thequeen/the-queen-sends-message-to-canadians-after-toronto-van-attack-101248Sending condolences to your city. Tragic. Glad you are alright.

Maybe I'll show my ignorance of matters Syria-related, but if Syrians were my people, and in light of Israel refusing to go back to its lines, I would with Russia repeal Sykes Picot and form a union with Palestine, to shift the heat a little. Then I would reassure my neighbours and sign non-aggression treaties (since expansionism is less the motivation, than protecting the rear in this case). Let Israel decloak itself in Britain or in the US, and let those populations handle being bossed around by bullies. Some background : www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-35806229I simply had not heard of issues with Syria only in recent past. If the Arab Spring is to blame, shall we examine the solutions employed by other countries? It's a Pandora's box any which way. I had never heard of the Sykes Picot agreement. Will read this, hope on weekend.

Its not another military attack the citizens of Syria need from "sympathizers" like Trump. Any war that drags on beyond a number of civilian casualties and amount of infrastructural destruction with no clear winners has to see the warring factions negotiate and settle a peace, and financial compensations be made by any invader who did not win. In a perfect world. Its clear lives here don't matter and the destruction is deliberate to endebt the country in the future. As such, Syrians are the last thing on the minds of war addicts. Trump should begin by staffing his diplomatic corps so we don't have a savage capitalist who panders to arms dealers, making life threatening decisions about the welfare of people he doesn't even give sanctuary to as refugees. So please, cut the crap. You're a disaster for the Middle East. Yea, the war that trump inherited? uk.news.yahoo.com/madeleine-albright-says-obama-enforced-135259865.html

The royal aspirant Putin is taking a shot in the Skripal poisoning at...the Queen?!? She's blamed for the Skripal pet's death by the Russians, of all things, and her moral authority is questioned, in some bizarre sweeping attempt at an insult. Delirium for delirium, I'm reminded of my cat Pippa's untimely death, one of many since taking on Putin-friendly Sy Jacobson (the dead bodies list include his cousin, a retired police officer, a sheikh, almost my mother, ...and my Pippa). Don't get me wrong but I was almost hoping it was his Trump suite that burned down, in some copycat Monaco event with another banker years ago...Which leads me in my own sweeping statement to recall Sy's cousin last worked for Pastor in Switzerland and that the Pastor matriarch was nearly killed by her Russian son-in-law. Sy also brought back with him from Europe a retinue of Russian escorts that flooded Yorkville as sugar daddy baits for his next victims. He also sent his boiler room ex convicts straight to Moscow upon release, like my 330 neighbour. What else? Yes, my own condo accommodations here, in a building owned by two crooked Bulgarian brothers was the site of frequent break-ins and constant intimidation and harassment. As another aside, Mme Concorde could tell you of the Russian escorts that pooled into one or two units of her building in Menton when Sy still roamed those parts. A real honey trap factory. That's it for catching up on the topic. All this to say...I doubt my bestie poisoned a cat, like the Russians assert: royalcentral.co.uk/uk/thequeen/russia-launches-extraordinary-attack-on-the-queen-claiming-she-killed-sergei-skripals-cat-99962PS: The Toronto Trump tower was made possible by a Russian millionaire protegé of...you guessed it. Thanks for reminding me about the Russian son-in-law. I believe there is a trial, finally. Well, too many "leaders" have allowed the money laundering so it's coming back to haunt them. The latest vileness in Syria is proof enough that Putin (Pucken) will go to the deepest, unethical levels to hurt and destroy, especially the weakest. When is someone going to give ASSad and his British fashionista phony wife a one-way ticket to an island?

Hot off the press (internet!) from Riviera Radio April 10, 2018: (I can't but think about all of the personal water bottles that end up in the sea. Why not re-fill and re-use?)
"Prince Albert of Monaco warns of 'irreversible tragedies' facing world's oceans - His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco has said that urgent action is needed in order to avoid “irreversible tragedies” in the world’s oceans caused by plastic pollution and climate change. Speaking at a major conference at Edinburgh University Prince Albert told the gathering of academics, senior official and ministers that the threats facing the oceans were “increasingly alarming”and people must stop believing it was possible to pour “anything and everything” into them “without consequences.” The conference was organized by the Monaco Blue Initiative, a think tank that aims to bring together experts and decision makers to find practical solutions. It was set up by the prince’s foundation and the Oceanographic Institute."

She states that ONLY Albert guided her in Monaco. What a slap to those who went out of their way to coddle and assist her. She has sister-in-laws who would have been willing (?)to nurture her but she forgot about them? Further proof that she is unwilling to really assimilate into the family or Monaco life-style. Keep your nest feathered in S.A. You will need it one day.

I looked at South African cuisine... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_cuisineBobotie? They seem to call it cookery rather than cuisine. I don't see why she doesn't try first to identify with Monegasque top chefs, before launching herself into lesser-known cooking, to sort of build a brand as foodie first. We're hearing about Meghan Markle these days being into giving cooking tips and liking her food a lot. Maybe this is copycat PR. Nothing about her is truly original. Yes, copycat...

Obama's Kehinde Wiley (whom I loved at Art Dubai 2013) reminds me of a photo of Pope John II I'm sure I wasn't the only one to see, sitting head in hand at the pope villa garden. Its still better news than the non-stop trainwreck in Syria. Its as much a long moratorium that's needed there, as it's a rule book on war for all parties involved. We're watching an act of international cannibalism. The civilian casualties alone should warrant an immediate stand down. The current situation shows as much a lack of self-restraint as Assad was accused of. Get out of Dodge everyone. #epicfail what a huge image. did the artist put an extra finger next to his little finger on his left hand (the left hand with the ring)? looks odd.
