well, I have to say that a bunch of unelected (as in not by the people) elderly and mostly white guys are telling a country what to do is pretty outrageous. It is the job of a judge to uphold the law, not to make it. And if I am not mitaken 2 on the board have committed crimes against women and should rot in prison instead of depriving women of the right to decide over their bodies. It is funny that now men are getting vasectomies in droves. I consider that a positive side effect though. About time men took on their share. I can't wait for the first ex marrital paternal lawsuits against those prolifers....And the faces of the spouses...
as to Trump, I fear despite all that has come to light he will get off lightly (which will encourage him even more), for the simple reason that people fear unrest, if he is actually put in prison for treason. THe US is so divided that it doesn't take much to spark a civil war. And Russia will help light that spark. Hopefully Biden will realize in time that a second term is not in the cards for him. IMO Michelle Obama is the only democrat with enough power to draw the masses. Her kids are grown, she is still highly popular, she is very smart and already knows the drill. ANother run from HIlary or Biden would be devastating. Michelle would be very difficult to run against, especially since she is black and a woman. Attacking her will be very hard. ANd although she has never held an office, she has been in politics for decades and met the major players nationally as well as internationally. Democrates need to get her to change her mind about running and throw all they have behind her.

I find the fact that they are burrying the bullying report in order to avoid more Montecito drama more disturbing. Charles and QE2 are being blackmailed via the Montecito kids. Lets hope she will run for some kind of office. Then they will have to give up all titles and I am sure an opponent or hostile press will pay a large sum for that report and publish it against their will. And that will be even more embarrassing for the BRF then having it out now. QE2 is making the same mistakes she has made with ANdrew. The longer she lives and those family morons unravel, the more likely she will destroy her own legacy by putting blood over country. ANd with Charles and his antics and the hardship of the British people in the years to come, will not make him very popular either. There might be pressure on him to pass straight to william, but should there be any whiff of scandal ther, I am afraid the BRF will not be very popular. They would find themselves in a rather Spanish situation. I think that Amalias generation of young royals may turn out to give royalty a modern twist and be a contrast to entitled and corrupt politicians. My it is her idealistic youth that is guiding her today, but she is a refreshing contrast to the entitled and greedy twats of politics and the BRF. Also she isn't preaching, she is simply acting and eplaining her reasons. I would be embarrassed to be outdone in m forties by a teenager. And it is not like she hasn't been witness to family drama, given the early deaths of her aunt and uncle... Some people grow, others (like Harry and Albert) use it as a lifelong excuse for messing up.

Apparently ANdrew Morten said that she is keeping him close because he is loyal, Falkland and the Windsor fire. As if any of that has anything to do with what he did to those girls. What he did has nothing whatsoever to do how he was as a father, grandfather husband etc. With Epstein he was living out a side, that he hid in his other life. He is vain and he is always short of money. He has always lived a life beyond his means. That alone has seen him get into trouble and with a wife (ex wife) similarly wired, he was an easy target for people flattering him and willing to buy access. ANd he still is. He is incapable of change, because that is who he is and the queen refuses to see. Refusing to see his faults is not mothers love. She is mistaking sth there. And probably always has with him. I think as a mother she has completely failed her children. Lucky for them, life has put most of them with partners that allowed them to heal. I think Fergie is in most ways like the queen to Andrew. She indulged him and encouraged him in every stupid thing he ever did. It is a good thing his daughters have found partners that are quite different to their dad. I think Eugenie will greatly benefit from living in Portugal, away from it all. She seems to be the one, having been able to not get to caught up in it. ANd she also seems to be the least bothered by her parents hopes of their daughters playing a more prominent role in the BRF. With Beatrice, I am not so sure. Being married to discarded nobility often leaves an appetite for reinstatement. Just look at the Italian royals craving for those jewels and artefacts. Or the German royals desperate attempts to prove that they were not Nazis so they can get their hands on art, money and properties. Parasites then and now. So hopefully there is not another problem in the making....

I think the fact that qe2 refuses to get rid of him is tainting her entire reign. I fear that people will end up judging her through Andrew. Her refusal to see him for what he is and imposing him on the public by continously allowing him to wriggle his way out and everyone taking a stepback for his sake, sheds a bad light on her. It also shows a disregard for his victims. His feelings are more important to her than the suffering of those women. His vanity and supposed hurt feelings are more important to her, than empathy for his victims. That is what she will be measured by. Currently she is seen as an old and frail woman and people have empathy for her. But once she is dead, that will go away and her complete disregard for Andrews victims and how he is being put before everyoneelse even after being sent to retire will forever taint her. It is her most recent action and once the mourning is over, people will see her in a different light. They will take her immediate reaction to Dianas death and her actions with regard to Andrew as revealing her true self. And she will not be able to defend herself. These actions will be used as explanation to why her family is so dysfunctional. There has been healing, but not due to her, but due to Camilla, Kate and Sophie. Hopefully Charles will not be making the same mistake with Harry, once things get awry with him and he is king. People will be less tolerant with him.

would you marry him with Fergie in the house? She still has her claws in him and she has made sure that he will never throw her out. She is a parasite. She tried other hosts, but none would have her permanently. And she knows how to handle him and his vanity. I just think that they are sparing his feelings way too much. Just because flags don't go up for him anymore, they wont for most others either. It is like with his fathers funeral. He made an inappropriate request and so qu2 had to tell everyone to not wear uniforms to spare his feelings. It ought to be her feelings that need sparing. He is such a selfish and useless twat. I do belive though that once CHarles is king, they will not be sparing him further. Especially since there is now another claim coming on. For one case they decided to ignore the victim and pretend to believe him, but if there is another one or more, I don't think that they can hang on to that and still tolerate him at family occasions. I think especially the younger generation will distance themselves and maybe just do the minimum for his daughters sake.

so they saw qe2 for a whole 15 minutes over the entire we. not several times as their pet journo claims. And they didn't watch Saturday with her either. I am sure they had higher expectations than that. I suppose they had to fly private to have enough room for all those new grievances they were taking home.

actually Mozart used his experiences with the freemasons in the magic flute and apparently caused quite a stir at the time. Then again these days I guess people are more interested in the seperated parents theme and the impact that has on the children. But there are many layers of interpretation and then there is the wonderful music. That famous aria of the queen of the night which sounds like an incredible laugh at masculinity. Thats why I said I'd rather go see the magic flute. Besides it is enjoyable without all of the above. even with mediocre musicians.

gives the conspiracy theorists sth to chat about, other than that: no one cares. Same for the free masons. I'd rather attend a performence of the magic flute, then get into that stuff. And at the end of the evening I probably know more about them then the conspiracy theorists... plus I would have had the pleasure of listening to wonderful music....

well, I think with harry it was his moms death. Had she not died that early and he being so small, I bet they would have acted differently. But everyone felt sorry for the little boy, forgetting that that boy was growing up into a spoilt man. the neglected things when he was young and then expected him to act like a grown up, when he looked the part. Diana has always been everyones excuse. They completely ignored and still do, who she really was at the time of her death and which way she was headed. My prof wrote a book about what happens, when a woman dies young, called over her dead body. It also deals with Marilyn. Anyways the image of the dead woman ends up being seperated from who she was while still breathing. IMO looking at diana then, had she lived and continued on her path, neither of her sons would be speaking to her now. She had a strained relationship with her own mother and most likely would have ended up on the same path. Same goes for the brits. When I lived there not long before they seperated, peole were fed up with her. They wanted them to get it over with instead of her constantly spoonfeeding the media. They thought that once she got her seperation or divorce, she would stop that. We all know that she didn't and I am certain, had she not died, she wouldn#t have. Not for a long time. And she would have messed up her sons in away that would have affected them more then her death did. With her dead, they could eternally love her. It allowed will to built a happy marriage with a normal woman from a normal family and raise happy, well adjusted kids who have great friends within their family which will be great support for them their entire life. What went wrong with Meg, I have no clue. She reminds me a bit of my own inlaw who was jealous for no obvious reason. She alienated my brother from the family, but eventually they divorced anyways. IT lasted about 30 years, but from day one it was obvious that they were not a good match. emotionally to me and many in my family, she never was part of the family. She was tolerated, but there never was a real bond. No common ground or friendship. It wasn't her fault. She just was so different, that it never worked. meg is probably like that in the BRF and she is not making an effort, but on the contrary she is expecting others to make an effort with her. And when they do she despises them for it. There is a bit of Nietzsche in that: I love you, oh you love me, then you can't be good enough for me...

There isn't much to be gained by going over her head and bridging communication with her father, for Charles. He probably considers he has already sacrificed a son. Maybe Harry should, if anything, engage. It is after all his chosen family. I don't see either why Kate should jeopardize her peace and stress management, to welcome someone who looks to any occasion to poison the pool. I personally prefer to look ahead, rather than jump back into family black holes (read: astronomy vs racism, please). It depletes you. Kate has so much that's good in her life, and she's been down that road of going out of her way to acclimatize MM and where has it gotten her?! You have to be a fool to propel yourself against a brick wall like that. Only time can heal at this point. There's no sense being frantic and precipitating outcomes when there's no goodwill. That's my take. I think the only thing that would make them change is when they get dropped by netflix for lack of input. Given that they don#t have anything on offer, no education or anything else that could enable them to produce content, the only way they will be able to keep their contract will be a Kardashian like program, but no one wants to see that. Plus they would have to exploit their children and everyone that enters their lives. Who wants to be friends with people like that? I bet we will get to see her soon trying to make amends with her dad. I am sure he would want that to be private, but they will be making cameras a condition as it is the only drama they can sell right now. These too have no morals. They gave their interview to Oprah while Philip was dying and they will do netflix with her dad in a terrible state. Hopefully his other kids will prevent that from happening as it is degrading and at least in this country it is against the constitution as the dignity of a human being is sacro sanct, and what is more degrading then being an ailing man, unable to speak being filmed for netflix so he can be allowed to see his grandkids. I wonder if the BRF have reached out to him despite Meg not being in touch with him. IMO flowers and a card would have been in order from Charles. He is the grandfather, so he is family to them too in some way. It doesn't hurt them to reach out and offer help (quite on the contrary), even if it sets off meg. It would be the decent thing to do imo. since meg gets triggered by Kate, it might actually get things moving, if Kate reached out. I think if she did, Meg would hurry to make herself look better than her. You are right. too much agro, so it is understandable that they don't dare to move (I think Camilla voiced sth like that at the time). Still I think it would be a decent thing to send flowers. And yes Kate has a lot going for her. IMO right now she looks better than ever. Happy with her family, close as well as most larger family. She seems to have bonded well with all the cousins and they all have kids in the same age range, so lots in common. I don't think that the miffs have left much of a gap. She tried her bit to patch things up, but life is short and she has her kids, husband and work, so not really much time to waste on unworthy people. SHould Harry ever split from his wife, I am sure she will be supportive, if he doesn't mess things up anymore, but I think for that we will have to wait a couple of years. Then again he seems at his young age already so bitter, that I fear he won't improve with age. And the Harry people liked, was the one having fun (sometimes too much) and putting a smile on peoples face. All he had to do was grow up. Instead he messed up. And I doubt that their millions will stay with them. NOt with their lifestyle and the little actual work they are doing.

so all the cousins went for lunch after trooping the colour, except the duke and duchess of miff, who went straight to frogmore. Well, they had only 3 days to prepare a bday bash. While the rest of the family was either working or enjoying family time. Or were they afraid to undermine their security bid, if they had joined their unprotected cousins for lunch? Shame no one had an egg or overripe tomatoe in their purse to swing into megs rolled down car window. Then again they probably thought being booed was enough of a security threat to stay in their ugly bunker... nothing like anmer hall.... or kensington palace or the new pad Kate will get to live in....

wow, they really must have been miffed. Now their trolls are claiming that Will and Kate had an invite to the bday party, but snubbed them. Did they? Really? The entire world knows that they were in Cardiff, working with their kids. And after that, they went to the palace party. Also with their kids. All of them. No way would they have been able to make it. If they would have wanted to meet Will and Kate, they would have added a few extra days after the jubililee and made themselves available at a time convinient to them. And they could have arranged that well ahead of time. Instead they left in a huff and made sure that the media knew about it, so that the festivities were not even over and they could at least make the end all about them. Since their isn't any official reason for them to be invited back any time soon, all they can hope for is an invite to Balmoral for summer. But if they don't go again, there next time back might be a funeral. And I doubt that they will be seated prominently then. Or at Charles coronation. Once QE2 is gone, they will not be moving up, but further down. Limited to private meetings, if at all. Harry might think that Charles is a pushover, but he won't do anything without consulting Will. Then again queen mum lived to over 100, so if QE2 is anything like her or her late husband, she still has a few years left to make the world forget about the Montecitos.
btw every camera these days can take video. so I think it was a good idea to block the pics. Otherwise we might have seen a video of lili meeting the real lilibet on netflix. You don't outsmart a woman who keeps marmalade sandwiches for later in her purse...

I think Meg pulling down her window when they are so concerned about their security says it all. And it spelt desperation. Yes they were pictured being there, but also showing that they were absolutely irrelevant. Reduced to child minder services. Or maybe just giving them a pretext to be pictured at all. You could tell that they knew exactly where to be to have their pics taken. Others weren't so desperate. Or posted selfies instead. At least some honesty there. Apparently they skipped Guildhall and an opportunity to mix with guests, who were apparently miffed for being stood up by some minor royalty. So much about service. If it doesn't come with a huge spotlight, they don't do it. Also curious: why did they bring a high chair? An excuse to fly private? I am sure they could have borrowed one or more (for the bday party) from the cousins, or bought one. They surely have enough money to have one in each residence. And plenty of room to store it, when no longer needed until the next generation or family member can use it. I know that the BRF did do hand me downs or circle things within the family. Just like most people do and did. Victoria had a lot of her own kids clothes worn by her own daughter. It is reasonable and sustainable. And if you were raised by the war generation, it was natural. My kids learned to ride a bike at my parents on my old bike and they slept in beds that my mom and uncle already used as children (and plenty of others inbetween). And these days I think it is a good thing to remember these habits.
Also, IMO bringing the kids for such a short stay was hardly worth it since most of their family was otherwise busy. It is also ridiculous that they made it a point to watch TV with the queen. Surely the kids were too tired from partying to be brought along. A few more days after the jubilee could have given the queen more opportunities to see the kids and Charles as well. As for Will and Kate and their offspring, I doubt they met with them at all. Interestingly all kids that were at the party attended the concert. Even the smallest. Then again they may not have been invited to avoid distraction. Still, when you live that far apart and come for a visit, you make an effort and not a Blitzvisit.

so looks like they left miffed after being sidelined. Lol at the pic of Lili who is the spitting image of Megs sister. ANd if I remember correctly Archie lools like her dad. Nature telling her sth. ANd good on QE2 to not allow pics with her granddaughter. Pre megxit they would have got it, or had to do a photo op, but now.... Looks like QE2 is taking privacy wishes serious.... btw she still wasn't christened was she? Or did they have a US do and didn't tell anyone since they couldn't get a Windsor baptism?

well, we know she didn't get it from Albert, who was probably the only person she didn't hug and kiss during F1... and sure they got jabbed, several times even. Still Albert caught it twice, though once before vaccines existed. Vaccines are not yet adapted to the new variants and there are new one coming from Spain and Portugal. If we are lucky vaccines will be improved by fall. Still the best protection seems to be wearing masks and keeping your distance. No one did during F1... trying to give people a false idea of safety. I just keep on doing what I have done since day 1, and knock on wood so far nada, despite not being jabbed yet. Watching the vaccine development and the getting jabbed with the improved stuff for the next wave. Plus what I am doing now. fp2 have proven the best protection (if worn correctly, which some people still don't manage after 3 years) and I will keep using them in shops and public transport. even if I don't hve to.

no not Akris. That SA guy who I blieve made her first public dress for the red cross ball. That mermaid thingy...
and yes about the body bit. I come back to my Audrey reference. IMO she would have been much better advised to not get all that work done. Audrey was so flat that billy wilder said about her that she will get boobs out of fashion. ANd that with everyone going nuts about her contemporary Marilyn. But women would have prefered the elegance of a flat Audrey over a somehow slutty looking Marilyn. I think Kim wearing her dress should serve as an example that it is not the dress that gives the effect. It is the woman inside. With Marilyn the dress was iconic, with kim it was just another dress. If CW would have worked with what she had instead of getting herself chopped up and redone over and over, she might even have avoided her current problems. A modern version of Audreys look could have helped her more than those fake boobs with her confidence. Also Caro, Grace and Charlotte also don't have much upfront and no one ever criticized them. Btw all of Caros kids were there with spouses and kids. Alex brought her very tall and handsome boyfriend and Camille was there too. Beatrice was a vision in red. Cw has so many women in her family who could help her with her outfits. And point her to designers that are actually worth their money. Just look at all those badly sown seems up front. Waves all over and then those creases from sitting. It is such sloppy and unbecoming work. I hope she got it for free.

yeah, but you are not the only one using that term. Anyways, saw some more pics of todays outfit and finding it very impractical. you either need to wear nappies or undress each time you need to use the toilett. Plus she might need help as well. Not the kind of outfit a modern, independent woman would chose to wear. To me it is a Frankenstein suit, steeling ideas from different times in fashion and then piecing them together. Also when zooming in I noticed that the craftmanship is not very good either. In that pricerange I would expect better work.

just curious, why do fat men get described as having a dad bod, whereas women are called obese? Just read an article on the French model molester and the appartments were described as filled with fat and bolding men. When I hear dad bod, this type of men and what they do to younger women or underage girls. Given that Albert moved in those circles....
Anyways today she was dressed in powder blue. IMO an unfortunate cut suit from her SA designer friend with sleeves from the 80s and a neck from the 60s. Unfortunetely it creases and makes her look like an unmade bed. I also dislike how the top part is cut. I think she would have been better advised to wear a patterned outfit as the creases wouldn't have sown as much. I do love Gabriellas dress. Vibrant colours. Actually an outfit with that pattern could have suited her mother as well. With the short hair she should have taken inspiration from Audrey Hepburn. A modernized version of a 50s summerdress with ballerinas would have livened up a rainy afternoon. I think Jacques would have been better dressed according to his age. It is not a formal event, so why not have him dress in jeans and a cool t shirt or hoodie. He will be wearing suits most of his life anyways, so let him be a child while he can. Btw Andrea was there too.
