Maybe she had her baby at home already. But I doubt that Princess Caroline would be on a skiing holiday if her grandchild had been born.

Mathilde has so wonderful personality. She's warm, feminine, natural and joyful. She's a classy woman and always knows how to behave. People like her are often called angels. ...... I don't hear much about her here in the USA so It is nice to know something about her personality and how she serves her country. Mathilde is half Polish and no doubt her upbringing and family heritage have so much to do with her becoming the wonderful princess that she is. She seems to embody what a princess should be; cultured, educated, well-mannered, multi-lingual, expressing intelligent interests in cultural and social issue, respectful of her position and probably there is more to admire.

MC, you will be happy for you found your hero. If a Queen has to be my hero it will be Queen Pema of Bhutan. I like the Duchess of Cambridge. She is beautiful, she has a lot of class, we don't see her making any wrong steps, she has style, she is a top dresser. The Queen must be happy and reassured to have Catherine in the family. She is an ideal representative for the United Kingdom. I hope the couple will stay together for life and have a number of children. I am always happy to see all these nice articles about her. She does not make a fool of herself or let the press push her into saying or doing foolish things. She seems to have poise and (British) reserve. I think that she is strong and grounded.

I think he must have gotten it afterwards. Due to the cold. Often happens with bladder infection. They come fairly quickly. But still. I read the Queen has not too long ago been soaked to the skin and there was no opportunity to change. She refused to sit at the reception afterwards for fear that her clothes would be looking a mess for the lunch that followed. So basicaly she was drenched during a visit, endured a reception still in wet clothes and then sat through a lunch still in wet clothes. At her age. And in the typical british weather. And I suspect if she felt a slight cold coming on the next day, she'd still fullfill all engagements. I think both of them a re very oldschool with a strong sense of duty and service. Besides Philip wanted that ship pageant. And appareantly he really enjoyed it in spite of the weather. Angina is very briefly contageous. Most intact immunesystems can fight it off. There was no reason for trashy to skip a public engagement. She is pure lazyness. On another thought, maybe she wanted to watch the jubilee....Keeping an eye on her behated Kate. Well she better keep watching and rewatching. Maybe she can learn the basics... I admire the Queen so much. Such a sense of duty.

I hope so too. He must not have felt un-well for a few days and was putting on quite an appearance for all of the jubilee celebrations. What energy the Queen and Prince Philip have!

When one member of the BRF is ill they stay away from other family members so as not to pass the illness on. Showing up ill to meet other officials in Korea could be disastrous. Remember when President George Bush went to China and threw up at a dinner? I think it was China. Other officials would not be pleased to be exposed to illness and Charlene would look worn and tired. IMO she should stay away from crowds until she is better.

Well, maybe not being labeled the same way as her mom and sis, she might end up working on other things. I think they could all do with getting away from the exterior and getting some substance. Frankly I think that Rainier was probably the only one with a content, but then again he wasn't considered a stunner in his youth. Pitty he felt that it was important to keep appearances and present the world with a family that in reality never existed that way. Monaco is so small and with limited resources, keeping up appearances is so vital to attract and keep various business and social interests in Monaco.

Caroline is so faithful to Channel and has a close friendship with Karl Lagerfeld that goes back many many years. Charlene seems to be developing a relationship with Akris. She must trust the Akris fashion advisor. If I remember correctly, Princess Grace wore a lot of Dior designed by Mark Bohan. Mark Bohan designed Caroline's first wedding dress and he was a close personal family friend. Mark tried to help Princess Stephanie when she was interested in fashion design.
It would be nice to see Charlene wearing someone else's couture designs. If she is following in the fashion footsteps of the Grimaldi women, developing a friendship or following to a fashion designer, I wish that it was not Akris. Maybe many princesses do this, find a fashion house, build a relationship and trust their advice. I find Akris's designs odd.

With the ziz-zag pattern, it looked a bit reminiscent to last year's dress
