To continue with Boris... BBCNow we see why Trump likes him. That said, world powers are overrun by leaders hell-bent on breaking the law, to the point of blackmailing the International Court. Are we going to have to ask Greta "Thunder" to school them on that too? (Brava Greta πβ€ππ»)

Firstly, bravo to Prince Charles. Like William last year, this is bold and brave. In Gaza, Muslim women are busy readying Christmas toys for Orthodox Christian children, in an attempt to magnanimous normalcy. Hosting royals draws much needed attention to the plights of Palestinians. But of course, a Netanyahu has to take issue. Ridiculous comments include however the rightful historical reference to British sovereignty but rather than serve as a bulwark against unwarranted criticism, self-entitlement blinds the wrongly indignant. Ugh. π www.albawaba.com/node/could-tweet-netanyahus-son-spark-diplomatic-crisis-between-israel-and-uk

www.gofugyourself.com/photos/meghan-and-harry-and-kate-and-wills-at-commonwealth-day-services-2020/commonwealth-day-london-united-kingdom-09-mar-2020Commonwealth Day came and went. Westminster makes my heart pinch at Notre-Dame de Paris's current state. I digress. My bestie had a whimsical dash of orange on her hat that I liked. Will must be congratulating himself on his choice of wife. Sophie couldn't be more perfect as buffer in the seating arrangement and I seriously feel she deserves a raise lately. Defusing the arrivals was clever and the mainstreamed procession (though requiring QE2 to be on her feet a long time, I felt) was also a good idea. Megan reminded me of the Buddhist cat in storefronts whose forearm constantly moves. I decided maybe that's why Harry holds her hand down so much. π The aldermen all took their fashion cue from her red caped gown and felt the Meghan effect π Apparently Vogue editor Edward Enningful is to be credited for the polished wardrobe (though they didn't have time to do something about the buckling zipper in the back...) and I think they may want next time to hit up the Kardashians for shapewear because we're seeing too much what's going on under the clothes, with an unadjusted bra specifically. She also may want to curb moving up close and touching men unprompted. But it could be the compulsive forearm. Harry's frowning is not a good look. Ultimately I found the Temptations song lyrics to be an uncanny reference to how far QE2 would go for Harry, how far is her reach and how vast her Commonwealth is π

Princess Beatrice did it!! She got married today. Good for her. The secrecy no doubt helped in not getting upstaged on her big day. Can't wait to see the pics next. I was just watching Livia Firth's IG post featuring Begnini talking about love. He was saying how we wait too long and love too little, when everything around us is love and that how we love is the measure of our life's success. Let me get the post. Brb. I love how they are framed by cascading flowers: The dress has an interesting history, first worn by QE2, and that amazing tiara was Queen Mary's. She couldn't have been more embraced by her grandmom, as it should be.

The funeral arrangements and guest list have come down: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9475169/Prince-Philips-funeral-guest-list-30-mourners-include-close-friend-Penny-Brabourne.htmlIt sounds like it'll be a wholesome ceremony, with Philip's relatives, and a smart way to nix photos of Wills & his brother. It sounds like Covid strangely has served a certain purpose of making bitter pills "swallowable". It reminds me of my mother. She departed not long after I wrote her about the pandemic. She never wanted a wake or much fuss. And there was no other way to reconcile us children. She took her cue and exited stage left, like a mystery. Anyhow, HM will surround herself with only those that truly matter (minus the great-grandchildren for who funerals are always too much at that age). I won't watch. I have no idea why even this makes me misty-eyed. Go figure. I must be tired.

I lied. I watched a bit. The brooch was perfect and sparkled amid the somberness. I loved the bugles doing that call to an invisible ship, it was very ancient and eternal. It was pretty flawless. Even balancing vertiginous heels going up a hill. I'm happy someone was in the car on the return. One day at a time, now. Good on the brothers too.
