i enjoy fashion and thought a thread about everything fashion royal or not would be fun. i'm no fashionista, i just know what i like and can always use some tips or direction

i LOVE hats, good hats, bad hats, gorgeous or silly, count me in for hats. i wear them a lot (TEXAS sun is unforgiving) but don't spend $$ like i used to on fancy ones, ah the good old days when i was single and would spend a whole paycheck on a fabulous pair of shoes or hat (somedays i hate being a grownup LOL)

Yep, Ines de la Fressange is said to be Caroline's best friend. I don't know if it's her bff, but she appeared in a pic with a crying Caroline inside of a car the day Stefano died.

Ines de la Fressange is so stylish, I also think she was a friend of Caro, but I don't know if she still is. I think there was a fall out but possibly I'm confusing her relationship with Caroline and with Karl Lagerfeld.

Countess I also love hats! I've read that Treacy is doing most of the hats/fascinators himself so we can expect good hattery at the wedding.

Some fashions last night. My favourite was the teal number. Some, like Laura Dern's pink with black appliqués and tassels didn't get picked up much. Then you had the old Hollywood de rigueur ones. Billy Porter's top was great but ugly bubble skirt. Let's get that out of the way. Salma Hayek wore hair jewelry, which there never is enough of, imo. Saoirse could wear a garbage bag, she'd still be stunning.

Florence Pugh (? Let me check) is definitely my woman, fashion-wise. Whoever her stylist is deserves praise, or if this is her taste? Bravo. Here she has a subtle, sequined or lamé dress with an amazing pattern we have not seen, unlike so many other dresses.




Chrissy Tiegen also deserves a nod, especially for her cape's shoulders.

Anecdotal: I was present when (I believe it was) "Miss" J Alexander was proposed to him for the catwalk show at the Tokyo Collections. I think it was maybe too soon even for Issey Miyake at the time.
