I'm thinking it's all speculation where they'll stay. I'm sure their peeps don't want it leaked. LA isn't centrally located. It's spread out and there are so many places they could sneak off to at end of the day. I mean a place like Santa Barbara/Montecito is about 2 hours away. 30 min by helicopter. Very exclusive and they could fly in from LA and stay at swanky gorgeous Santa Ysidro Ranch (where John Kennedy and Jackie honeymooned). Paps couldnt get in there. Oh and that is just an example. They could hit San Francisco which is six hours from LA. The wine country which is more Central California or way down South to San Diego near the Mexico border. All accessible by 30 to 45 min flight. There's so much here to see. Different climates, scenery. It would suck to be where the Beckhams and our stupid ex Governor live - too Hollywood.

I can't believe people are actually mad that Will and Kate have an oversea tour from June 30th to July 10th b/c it interfere with the press coverage that Monaco would get. It not Will and Kate fault that their tours are schedule for those weeks. They need to talk to the British Government, The Canadian Government, the U.S. Government and the foreign press office about the schedule. And it also not Will and Kate fault that people/the press are more interested in them or Britain in general than they care about Monaco.

the only thing to do is just bit back and enjoy the trainwreck. icing on the cake would be vicky announcing her pregnacy, two "real royal" princesses stealing her thunder (not that she was going to have it anyway) i betcha it doesn't get 3 minute segment on the news and not much coverage on entertainment shows, which is too bad, i feel quite sure the amusement factor is going to be over the moon.

Exactly! It sounds like some royal temper tantrums on some people's part. People realize that Willkate are a couple and not a pretend one like Charlene and Albert. They are young and have a bright future. Their foreign trip has been in the works since the engagement. It's well orchestrated by the firm who are pros at this stuff. Albert's PR people are amateurs.

Dynasty Press is being inundated with questions as to whether the Duchess of Cambridge is the author of With Love from Pet Heaven.

[UKPRwire, Thu May 26 2011] The boutique publisher Dynasty Press, which specialises in royal and celebrity books, says it has in the last few days been inundated with inquiries as to the identity of the author of their upocming book, With Love from Pet Heaven by Tum Tum the Springer Spaniel, ever since a rumour took hold in palace circles that the author is the new Duchess of Cambridge.

A moving account of a dog's life on earth and in Pet Heaven, with a front cover quote from John Rendall, the New York and London Times bestselling co-author of A Lion Like Christian ("Tum Tum's story will appeal to all animal lovers and confirms thw wonderful relationships we humans can share with animals"), the identity of the actual author has provoked tremendous speculation in royal circles since a pre-publication copy of the book was seen on the desk a senior courtier at Buckingham Palace, with a note pinned to it stating that it was the Queen's copy.

Dynasty Press is refusing to confirm who the author is, stating that they are specifically prevented under the terms of their publishing agreement with the actual author from revealing her identity. The mystery is why any author of a book which seems to be such a heart-warming dogfest would choose to hide their identity.

According to a palace source, courtiers at Buckingham Palace have been seen checking the tweet TumTum15 along with Tum Tum's Facebook page.

Could it be that the Duchess of Cambridge, who since her marriage has been praised for her sense of style and beauty as well as her discretion and decorum, wished to conceal her talent as a writer, and that investigation will confirm that she is an accomplished author as well as an avid dog-lover?

Dynasty Press, who have gone as far as to confirm that the author does bear a ducal title and is well-known for her chic and style as well as her royal connections, is hoping that continued questions from the media will induce the true author of With Love From Pet Heaven to permit them to reveal her identity.

William and Catherine will go ‘down under’ in 2012

Sources from the Australian and New Zealand governments have confirmed that the newly married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will pay a royal visit to Australia and New Zealand early next year. An official announcement is expected after the couple returns from their visit to Canada next month.
Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and New Zealand Prime Minister John Key both offered invitations to the royal couple to visit their respective countries.
The visits are planned to coincide with the diamond jubilee celebrations next year, which will mark 60 years of the Queen's reign.
In the past, Queen Elizabeth has traveled the Commonwealth extensively during jubilee years, but it’s understood that the monarch, who will be 86 next year, does not want to be overloaded with international travel this time around.
It’s well known that palace officials are keen to use William and Catherine’s popularity to bolster support for the monarchy in the Commonwealth Realms - countries which recognize the Queen as their head of state.
While New Zealand has never seriously toyed with abolishing the monarchy, Australia held a referendum in 1999 which narrowly supported retaining the Queen as head of state.
“It’s very telling that the Queen has requested that the Duke and Duchess represent her in the Commonwealth,” a palace source says. “The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall would have been seen as the logical choice a few years back, but they’ve never been invited to Australia or New Zealand. They did visit Canada in 2009, where they met with a lukewarm response from Canadians.”
No official information is yet known about the Duke and Duchess's tour, however, it’s expected to take place in February or March.
The Queen will visit Australia this October to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth, but will not visit New Zealand because of an election.
This journey to Australia, which will incorporate an early start to some jubilee celebrations, is rumored to be shaping up as her last.
Other members of the royal family, including Prince Harry, are expected to represent the Queen at other jubilee events throughout the Commonwealth.
The Canadian government has formally invited the Queen and Prince Philip to undertake a jubilee tour of the country next autumn. It's widely expected that she will visit.

William and Kate only met the Obamas in Buckingham Palace, while Charles and Camilla had a private meeting with the Obamas in the Winfield House, were there during the formal ceremonial welcome in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, and at the banquet in the evening.

OTTAWA - Newlyweds William and Kate will pay special homage to Canada’s military during their whirlwind nine-day royal tour, which kicks off in late
June.

The royal couple will travel across the country from June 30 to July 8. The pair will visit Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Yellowknife and Calgary.

Along the way, they’ll lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the National War Memorial in Ottawa and visit with veterans at the city’s Canadian War Museum, travel to Quebec City on HMCS Montreal and attend a ceremony with the Royal 22nd Regiment, spend time in Yellowknife with the Canadian Rangers, and wrap up with remarks in Calgary about Afghan veterans.

Both countries have forces in Afghanistan and William’s brother, Prince Harry, has been on tours of duty there.

Prince William, trained as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue pilot, will also watch a Coast Guard rescue demonstration during his time in P.E.I.

“The couple’s decision to visit Canada first is a testament to our country’s close relationship with the Crown and royal family, and an opportunity for all Canadians to take pride in our traditions, history, and institutions,”

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in a statement Monday.

The royal couple will also meet with young people across the country during the tour. William and Kate will meet young chefs in Montreal, visit with local youth in Quebec City, enjoy youth theatre in Charlottetown, and watch a science demonstration with youngsters at the Calgary Zoo.

It won’t be all work - the duchess will get the chance to indulge in a couple of her own interests during the trip. Middleton, who has rowed in
charity races in Britain, will break a sweat along with her husband in a Charlottetown dragon boat race.

She will also meet with an actor playing Anne of Green Gables, reportedly one of the duchess’s favourite childhood books.

The theme of the royal tour is “Moving Forward Together: From Past Accomplishments to Current Service to Future Achievements.”

The royal couple will be greeted on their first day in Canada with full military honours at Rideau Hall in Ottawa before meeting with Gov. Gen.
David Johnston and Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
The Queen visited Canada for a nine-day tour last year. Prince William has visited the country twice before, in 1991 and 1998.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge will get a taste of the Old West when they visit North America next month – even if the cattle stampede they'll witness will be in Calgary, Canada.

Plans for the royal couple's 11-day tour were announced Monday, and, among the sights they'll see, the two will experience "the diversity, vibrancy of Canada, its geography and people," says a source at St. James's Palace.

The full schedule will not be available until mid-June, those close to them already call the trip a "most significant moment, because it's their first royal tour."

The Canadian leg of their visit is set as follows: €

June 30-July 2: The National Capital Region (Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec)
July 2: Montreal
July 3: Quebec City

While some press reports say the duchess will require at least 40 different outfit changes en route, the only thing one aide would say about the expanse of their trip is, "They want to keep their entourage to a minimum."

Seasoned royal writer Judy Wade, a veteran of many tours with the Windsors, says, "Kate is aware of the recession and cutbacks that people are facing, and will not want to be seen to be extravagant, but she is realizing that you cannot be in the public eye and be a fully-fledged royal without help with a dresser or someone like that."

William, 28, wants to "get to know Canada better," says a source, while Kate, 29, will be making her first visit there.

Still, "Canada is very much part of her family's story," says the source. Her grandfather, Peter Middleton, was stationed there during World War II, serving as a trainee bomber pilot near Calgary.
