I am not going to even pose the question IF Charlene is lying about ever meeting Albert again between their first date in June 2001 in Monaco and December 2005 because her current interview statements and her previous statements clearly show that she is LYING. Rather, I will ask WHY is Charlene lying that she did not meet up with Albert again until they were “re-introduced by a mutual friend” for a New Years Eve party in Cape Town, South Africa? Charlene is lying because she… a)… Is just trying to recreate a better love story for the history books. b) … Is trying to show that she is not a gold digger since she did not pursue Albert since her first date because she was busy with her swimming career. c) … Does not want people to know that she was only a desperate booty call for Albert since he had public girlfriends from 2001 and 2005. d) … Does not want people to know that she was one of Albert’s “yacht party” girls. e) .. is a pathological liar and she is only doing what pathological liars do – LIE –she just cannot help herself! Part I. Charlene has stated in her latest two South African interviews that her first contact with Albert after their first date in June 2001 was in South Africa in December 2005. 1. Her latest statement affirming this position was with her 15 February 2011 South African Talk702 radio interview with Jenny Crwys-Williams. If you listen to the interview, you can tell with all the pauses that Charlene is lying. Jenny (10:24) So, how did it developed? Because, you were focused on your career and that was what you thought that you would be doing. And, there were the Olympics and after the Olympics there was the next Olympics coming up and there was more competition and you wanted to make your name in the world of, of international swimming which was what you were in the process of doing. So, when did you next meet after that? Charlene: Uh, obviously we met that year after again with all the swimmers and everything and uh it was I think it was in 2005 that uh a mutual friend of ours re-introduced us uh in Cape Town and uh I guess after that our first international debut was, was the Torino games in 2006. So, I think the rest is history from there. 2. In Charlene’s 13 February 2011 Carte Blanche interview with Derek Watts, it is summarized that Charlene’s next meeting with Albert after their first date was at a New years Eve party in Cape Town. From Carte Blanche: But this was a match that was meant to be and five years after their first meeting the couple met again, this time at a New Year's party in Cape Town. It was fireworks all round. Part II. From the beginning up until her Tatler interview, Charlene has alluded to several different contacts she had with Albert between her first date in June 2001 and the December 2005 New Years Eve party in Cape Town. The following are the comments that Charlene has decided to erase from history (made in 2010, 2009, 2006 and 2004) that clearly show Albert and Charlene saw each other after the first date and BEFORE December 2005. 3. Just as recently in her December 2010 Tatler interview, Charlene even alludes to a contact that happened soon after her first June 2001 date with Albert. From Tatler: “ I was 22 and focused. I wasn’t in the emotional place for a relationship. But the moment I met Albert, I felt a profound sense of destiny. I have been quoted as saying I felt weak at he knees. That is a slightly trite way of phrasing it, but it is true – I knew he was the one." Soon afterwards, Albert followed Charlene to South Africa so they could spend time alone together. 4. In Charlene’s 21 May 2009 Italian magazine “A” interview with Cristiana di San Marzano (conducted during the Amfar gala), Charlene mentions that she attended a tennis game in Paris with Albert in 2005. To confirm this, several reporters had earlier mentioned when Charlene made the news at the Turin Olympics that they saw Charlene with Albert in Paris at the Paris Open (of course they did not know who she was). From “A”: What is certain is that their first public appearance was in February 2006, during the Winter Olympics in Turin. Already they were together for a year, saw them at the Tennis Open in Paris, but the liaison was vague. [Original Italian : Di certo è che la loro prima apparizione pubblica è del febbraio 2006, durante le olimpiadi invernali di Torino. Già stavano insieme da un anno, li avevano visti agli Open di tennis di Parigi, ma la liaison era sul vago.] 5. During the first week of Charlene’s Turin performance on 16 February 2006, Bunte published their first article about Charlene. The creepy Bunte guy interviewed some of Charlene’s friends who stated that Charlene told them in November 2001 that she calls and emails Albert. There was another article (that I don’t have) that Charlene herself mentioned sending Albert condolences after his father’s death in April 2005. From Bunte: Five months later, in November 2001, Charlene told a friend that she calls with Albert and exchange e-mails. In an interview, she said.. "The only time I got weak in the knees over a man, was with Albert. I like European men because they know how to treat women. Albert's great, he has style and he is charming.. is just fantastic. " [Fuenf Monate spaeter, im November 2001, berichtete Charlene einer Freundin, dass sie mit Albert telefoniere und E-Mails austausche. In einem Interview sagte sie: "Das einzige Mal, dass ich bei einem Mann weiche Knie bekam, war bei Albert. Ich mag europaeische Maenner. Sie wissen, wie man mit Frauen umgeht. Albert ist toll, er hat Stil und ist charmant. Er ist einfach fantastisch."] 6. Notice the reference to the “weak in the knees” comment. Bunte was the first to report this and as mentioned above Charlene alluded to this article in her Tatler interview and confirmed she said/felt this way. This is important because in the same article, Bunte also reported that the same friend stated that Charlene also met Albert in Athens in August 2004. From Bunte: Then a severe setback. Charlene failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Athens. She traveled to Greece anyway. Reporter believed it was a joke when she said that she would live on a yacht, because no place in the crew quarters was. Closer you never knew. She met Albert in any case. [Dann ein herber Rueckschlag. Charlene verpasste die Qualifikation fuer die Olympischen Spiele in Athen. Nach Griechenland reiste sie trotzdem. Reporter glaubten an einen Scherz, als sie sagte, sie werde auf einer Jacht wohnen, weil im Mannschaftsquartier kein Platz sei. Naeheres erfuhr man nie. Sie traf jedenfalls Albert.] 7. The "I'll be on a yacht" comment that Bunte is referring to was a comment that Charlene made to a South African reporter with the Sunday Times (published 25 April 2004). Charlene made the comment in reference to her coach’s statement about the team shaping up or else they won’t be making it to the 2004 Olympics (which by the way, Charlene didn’t qualify for). From Sunday Times: CHARLENE Wittstock is a blonde with brains. Swimming SA president Gideon Sam recently told journalists and swimmers there would be no room for passengers at the Olympics. "They'll be on the bus," he warned. Quick as a flash, the blonde bombshell retorted: "No, no. I'll be on a yacht." Nobody knew it back then, but Charlene was bragging about going to Athens regardless – with Albert – on a YACHT (and we know what happens on those yachts. By the way, Charlene was not Albert’s public guest (like at Turin) at ANY of the Athens events (and I have photos of him attending many events). She was on the YACHT! So, feel free to take the poll and express your opinion of why you think that Charlene doesn’t want it known now that she saw Albert AGAIN at LEAST in 2001, 2004, and early 2005 before the New Years Eve party. AdminNote: Changed title of thread to be more inclusive of other information for opinions

Have anybody pictures of the Casiraghi Trio with their friends from The Red Cross and The Rose Bal galas from year 2000 to 2005? For Charlene could be mixed into the crowd of their friends?!

I remember Eringer mentioned that Albert didn't use computer & e-mails. It was when Eringer had contact with PA, as of 2007 or 2008. So, if Eringer is correct and back in 2007 or 2003 Albert didn't use computers then most likely he didn't use them in 2001. Albert seems to use cell phone only to contact with people in his private life. What if Charlene made this up only to impress friend(s) and make them jealous. Just a thought.

He has called me twice from Turkey when he visited some of his mission in Ankara, but I also missed the calls. When he is calling he has no patience to wait if the receiver will pick up the phone.

Really, PiPi? Are you still in touch? Does Charlene know this?
As far as Charlene's tall tales, I think it's a mixture. You tell a story that's not true and you can't remember it. Also, it's not romantic to say something like Albert sent his staff to ask me to marry him. Albert talks to me through his staff. Albert only sees me occasionally.

^That tells a lot of this "romantic" relationship, and how Albert is. Albert has no patience to wait if the receiver will pick up the phone. Albert has no patience, time, or whatever to go himself to propose Charlene, instead, he sends other person to do it. Albert has no common sense to ask Charlene's father in person if he can marry his daughter, instead he calls him on the phone to do it. Albert buys in the last minute a tacky engagement ring, just proving how he cares for Charlene. Albert has no interest in Charlene, so we don't see them often together, like in the Gstaad Holidays, but in compensation we can see them "holding" hands in the Tennis Tournament of Monte Carlo. Oh yeah, this couple exudes romance!!

Yes, it is really. No comments. I really do not know, but since January 2007 the S number one mme Stahl came into the palace business sweeping away others but not Conlene constructing a role model facade. There are bad guys who are calling Fatal five times a day how does it feel like?

Anytime the subject of the PA's "trip to Sweden" in late '06- early '07 came up CW got really "pived". And there were a couple of PA's buddies from that "Swedish trip" CW hated with a passion. Were you around them then? If so, what happened in Sweden? One of these guys asked her how long she'd be staying in Monaco - when was she going home to SA? she said very pointedly, "I'm not ever going back there. Ever. And I have no intention of ever leaving Monaco. I'm living here with PA now." (Which as we know now was a lie. She was not living with PA at the time. I heard her say that to quite a few people - especially young women who could be considered a possible threat to her. That of course would discourage any other normal woman to even think of making a move - or responding to any move PA may have made. What a "scuz" she is.)

And there were a couple of PA's buddies from that "Swedish trip" CW hated with a passion. A former poster, Cote, who was a Monaco insider had discussed a Swedish girlfriend that Albert use to see on and off. I remembered Cote stating that Albert was going to meet up with her at the Stars Ski event in March 2007. Low and behold there was a photo of Albert with a woman with the caption stating that she was a former girlfriend who flew in to see Albert. Of course, Charlene read this on the message board. Also during that weekend, a respected Swedish reporter had mentioned how Albert had invited two of her friends to come to his hotel room for drinks - and they turned him down because they knew Charlene was his girlfriend (even though Albert told them he was single). Charlene will always pout and put up a fuss about Albert and his other women, but it doesn't bother her enough to leave her fame, life of riches & luxury, and of course her soon-to-be princess titled which she stated was her destiny. CM, if you actually heard Charlene state this, then you can understand why I keep stating over and over again that Charlene Lynette Wittstock is a pathological LIAR. Well one of you have to be a liar because what you wrote above contradicts with what Charlene stated in her Tatler interview. In her Tatler comments (see below), Charlene makes it seems that Albert had to drag her to live in Monaco kicking and screaming since she didn't want to give up her swimming career (which in reality was a non-existent swimming career). From Tatler: Charlene and the prince did their best to keep their fledging relationship quiet. “In the early stages of my relationship, I had no intentions of moving from South Africa. Swimming was my only goal,” she says. On 13 April 2007 Wittstock became South Africa’s 50-metre women’s backstroke champion, completing the race in 30.16 seconds. As the gossip about her relationship with Prince Albert started to go into overdrive, she fled to a secret location in South Africa to enable her to train in peace for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. But she was plagued by injuries, including a fractured ankle and shoulder trauma, and was forced to withdraw from the sport she loved. Giving up competitive swimming was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make,” she sighs. “I was not emotionally prepared to retire or for the change of life that it entailed.” Charlene will not be drawn on how the prince seduced her into moving to his homeland in 2007, but one gets the sense that Albert made it clear to her that he had found his future princess.

It's actually funny,. I don't think she's smart enough to tell that many lies. She doesn't remember what she said from one minute to the next. That's why I question what's really going on. I know Albert is stupid - but all the people who are feeding him this crap aren't this stupid. Why are they continuing it? What's their payoff. There's little doubt Albert is going to be forced out. Very little doubt. It could be a boost to Stahl - but not La Coste.

Charlene is a pathological liar, she lies even if it makes no sense, for example when she told she was vegan/vegetarian while there are photos of her eating meat. She lies just to lie. She has short memory like many really dumb people so she forgets what she told.

The media have learned from the police to ask a question over and over again. If the person is telling the truth, there aren't any inconsistencies. If they are spinning tall tales then it becomes obvious. It will just take time for the press to begin to tear her back down from the pedestal she thinks she's on.

I changed the title of the tread to start with the year 2000, instead of 2001. Stupid me, I believed Charlene's statement in her inter views that she had only met Albert at the gala after the swimming meet and that was that until she saw him until June 2001. According to Charlene's "friend" Sarah Powe's interview in this article that Taz translated, that's another one of Charlene's lie. I believe Sarah. From the interview with Sarah Poewe: Poewe was present when Charlene and Albert met. "It was in 2000 at the swimming series Mare Nostrum. "The last competition is always held in Monaco, including the banquet with the Prince" she tells the inside story. Albert had been very open with the swimmers and landed with some of them in a club. "I was 17 and too tired to go with them," Poewe says. In the morning when Charlene told her that she had exchanged addresses with the Prince, both just giggled.
"Suddenly, reporters asked questions about Charlene."
Sarah only found out in 2002 that something serious was going on, when a gossip reporter wanted to know details about Charlene. Now, here's the LIE that Charlene told in her interview with Jenny Crwys-William ( listen here). It's really funny how Charlene stumbles all over herself when Jenny asked about meeting Albert in 2000. You have to hear it to believe just how inarticulate she is and how much she stumbles over her words when she is LYING. From Jenny Crwys-Williams interview on 15 February 2011: Jenny (8:00): Charlene in 2000 I think it was you went to Monaco for the very first time and you were swimming and you were a member of the South African team and I guess when you came over that hill and started coming down into Monaco your response must have been the same just about anyone. This is just the most fairytale place when you look down on it and you look at the beautiful Mediterranean and beyond, can you actually even remember thinking that? Charlene: Uh, I remember driving in the bus going toward. Toward Monaco and it really was the most amazing beautiful country ever seen. I mean it’s really small, so picturesque. The beautiful palace was very impressive. And uh, I had to pinch myself because I couldn’t believe I was there.
Jenny: (8:50) Now, there you were and you were swimming but that is exactly when you met Prince Albert wasn’t it for the very first time. Charlene:Yes, I did.
Jenny: Now the bits and pieces that I’ve read about that meeting of yours it almost sounds as if there was, there was a recognition between the two of you that something special had happened. But, I thought you were doing backstroke and I thought he was being a prince. So, how did you meet? Charlene (9:13): (laughs) Uh, well obviously th(garbled) during the meet we have a after the swimming meet we have a ball afterwards which the prince would throw. And uh, he’s a, he’s a sportsman himself. And uh, he’s very involved with, obviously he knows a lot of athletes, he’s involved with the IOC. he has a lot of friends who are swimmers and athletes and uhm you know he approached and we were talking about the Sydney Olympics and he wished me well and he was extremely charming, wonderful gentleman and that was that.
Jenny (9:50): So you didn’t feel sort of lights, cameras, action and your heart going bumpty bump? (Charlene laughs) Not at that stage? Charlene: Well uhm (laughs) I uhm, I think I was very focused on my swimming at that stage and of course the Sydney Olympic was coming up and we just finished a really good tour and I just had to get back home and get back to training and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet this uhm this prince and yeah uhm it was lovely talking, talking to him.
Jenny: But that was it at that stage. Charlene: Yes.

MyaDia, again great research. Question: Does Albert ever give his take on his first meeting/meetings with Charlene? Or did he just view her as one of his 'yacht girls' so he barely remembered her name? Or is it all irrelevant to him? I'm not up on all the royals, but do we know how Matilde met Phillippe of Belgium? How about Maxima and W-A? We know William met Catherine at college. We know that Victoria met Daniel at the gym. Both methods that most of us can relate to in entering into a lifelong relationship with someone. We know how Mary meet Fred; it seems that it was another one night stand like Albert and Charlene. Do we infer anything from that? I find it interesting that Charlene keeps talking about how they met and it keeps changing. She gives the impression that there is something distasteful about the whole relationship in its beginning (and there are live witnesses to this shabbiness) and she is hoping that she can find a plausible story to make her and Albert seem like two normal people in love. Most people don't keep rehashing how they met their mate because it usually is not that interesting to outsiders. Also, why keep trying to give details? Is it because most liars believe that if they throw in details, then you will be more likely to believe them? Albert apparently hid Charlene from his father when he was alive as he knew Rainier would not approve. Did he hide her even though he was madly in love with her? Or did he hide her because she was a 'yacht girl' and his father disapproved? Most women have too much self-respect to be treated this way, but Charlene did not approach this relationship with the normal objective: love, respect and life-long commitment. Just like other con artists, her objective was the money. The more I see these two together, the little that they are, I am convinced that there is no love and this is a business transaction to improve tourism. It will fail, because the lack of authenticity is too obvious. Also, Albert seems to be getting so sick of Charlene and wants to be away from her, I doubt they will reproduce unless Charlene uses scientific methods. JMO

Talk702 Radio issued a short video clip (highly edited excerpts pieced together from the interview) that shows portions of the audio below. Note, the transcribing of the interview was done by me, so I tried to record it as accurate as possible - not perfect. In this short clip you can actually see how Charlene stumbles over her lies. This was posted on RoyalDish, so it is not new. Now, here's the LIE that Charlene told in her interview with Jenny Crwys-William ( listen here). Here'a another proogf that Charlene is a pathological liar - lying about not seeing Albert until December 2005 after their first date in June 2001. Albert's attorney and boyhood friend Thierry Lacoste mentions meeting Charlene for the first time in Albert's Paris apartment in 2004! Charlene has always been scrapping and digging out of the dumpster to become more than one of Albert's hidden booty calls - and she finally did it. But, now that she has hit the jackpot by moving from booty call to Princess Charlene of Monaco she has to re-write her history so nobody knows all that she had to do to get where she is now. And trust me, if Charlene was in Albert's Paris apartment in 2004, her family and friends knew about it because you know Trashlene loved to brag, so don't be surprised to find some sugar boarders who joined a certain forum in 2004 are relative/friends of Charlene (some even used their real names because I've seen their names on her Facebook page). Excerpt from the 25 November 2010 issue of Monaco Hebdo: Thierry Lacoste Charlene met for the first time in 2004 in the Paris home of Prince Albert. Just after the Turin Games. His first impression was the same: "Charlene is typically a high-level sportsman with a healthy mentality. Her report to the people is honest and direct, she speaks bluntly. She is an honest and sincere girl who says clearly what she thinks and believes what she says. While having a lot of sweetness. She is a beautiful soul, very tender and sweet. "

The Turin games were february 2006 not 2004. Donna, their writing style is poor, but they are saying that Lacoste met Charlene in Paris in 2004 AND AGAIN just after the Turin games, which was in 2006 - and his impression of Charlene was the same when he first met her in 2004. Well, that is my interpretation. The first sentence is very clear that Lacoste met Charlene for the very first time in 2004. Thierry Lacoste Charlene met for the first time in 2004 in the Paris home of Prince Albert. Just after the Turin Games. His first impression was the same:

Talk702 Radio issued a short video clip (highly edited excerpts pieced together from the interview) that shows portions of the audio below. Note, the transcribing of the interview was done by me, so I tried to record it as accurate as possible - not perfect. In this short clip you can actually see how Charlene stumbles over her lies. This was posted on RoyalDish, so it is not new. Is this just me or is she using the exact same wording as in the TV interview? sounds like she has rehearsed this. Also I noticed that she is trying hard to have a BBC accent so she could come off as educated. she doesn't pullit off though as there are always slips back into her natural vocabulary and then she is, at least to me, almost unintelligible. Also notice the difference to her talking in the Canadian interview. It does sound as if she has received classes in English rather then in French since then they are really trying the Eliza Doolittle on her... AdminNote: Reduced length of quoted text
