This is sad. http://instagram.com/p/CH5l8xeF219 Cocker Spaniels are amazing. I was fortunate to have one as companion in my previous mini-zoo. So intuitive and hugely intelligent. Total lovebugs. I was inseparable with mine although he was officially someone else's, but he took sides once and growled at his bellicose owner on my behalf. R.i.P. good dogs.

Meanwhile, William is telegraphing his devotion to quarantining Kate by showing he's definitely not a "one-trick poney" from the height of his polo horse. Her family was out in force standing in at Wimbledon and mom was wearing a lovely dash of red in the sea of navy, alongside dapper David Beckham.

Between Pryianka Chopra and the Italian president, some people don't know civility. Good on William for trying to congratulate sore winners π, and Chopra should try another box if she thinks she's the one deserving of any applause. Losing shine in my eyes there.

This will assuage those worried after not seeing Kate for 6 weeks. Her beaming brother and bride celebrated with K&W present, in France. Congratulations to the couple. Any relationship approved by your pet is a great assurance you're making the right choice. Bravo! http://instagram.com/p/CTupl07g_ug

Great analysis, but I detected that look first in William in the engagement video. I'm the honorary Body Language Gal. Woohoo! I'm so glad he polled people and everyone wants him to do royal watching on the side. This is going to be fun!

Judging by the YouTubers, William is not willing to turn his mom's statue inauguration party into a UN event where Harry and wife might have to be escorted out of the building for compromising security by wearing a wire and being tailed by their own cameraman. Next however, is the projected award show in the US. I can understand the current climate of showing up an obnoxious brother, but I wonder. William and Catherine are riding a wonderful wave at home. I'm not sure trying to conquer the US public won't be just as deflating as it's been for Harry. Why chance inviting doubt by doing something unnecessary. Plus there's always a risk of no longer being the same afterwards, whether by realizing the US did just fine since "you" aka the monarchy, and demystifying oneself, which can have the reverse effect of being suddenly dissatisfied with your life. That would be hard for the UK fan base to witness and experience, because they'd be compared now rather than loved back like they deserve. I'm just saying. Harry is a punchline there. Going over to show him up actually would be belittling IMO. The green velvet jacket however was to die for. ππΌ

It seems William's podcast or show was universally well-received:

I don't know how I totally feel about their Christmas card, but here's a deeper analysis:
To me, the choice of backdrop maybe can evoke a bit Christ's birth as in almost a cavernous setting...? It definitely doesn't scream traditional Western snowy Christmas. It does however explain the Queen Rania style influence. They look lovely enough.

I loved that visit, and the red blazer ππΌ (I was looking at the same one last Xmas, but was still too heavy for red π). If anyone ever needed confirmation the queen is fine, there's not a shadow of worry anywhere.

However much I like Jamaica from visiting twice in the 90s, does anyone else think it was tactless for the PM, who already was elected on his republican ideas, to ram the point home further during their visit? If Jamaica hadn't been part of the Commonwealth, many Jamaican-Canadians would have had more limited opportunities, imo. One case in point was my former* friend's parents: her dad became the first black surgeon in Canada and her Irish-Jamaican mom was a major city politician. Both came from Jamaica. {* former bc she moved on someone I once dated, while she was married, as I was laid up post-surgery. π} Love the green dress: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10646143/Kate-glitters-jewels-lent-Queen-William-arrive-black-tie-banquet.html

Here's a slideshow of Catherine's Caribbean wardrobe: www.tatler.com/gallery/duchesss-of-cambridge-caribbean-tour-wardrobe-best-photos-outfitsMeanwhile, William scored too with the powder blue suit to her indigo. Well done ππΌ Apparently, Omid Scobie the Douches of Sussex's mouthpiece inserted himself to froth up controversy. It backfired, because the American fans were then split in their reaction to the attack. I didn't delve, personally. I do miss the Bahamas. It's been 9!! years since I last visited. Emerald Bay, Exuma. Townhouses overlooking a golf course. Although... it's where I discovered plastic particulates in the sand π Paradise Island is no stranger either. I had plans to open a shelter for all the roaming dogs and a tea house, (the penultimate time a man promised me a dreamy retirementπ€¦π»ββοΈ).
