An update on Camilla's Indian trip: sinusitis. At $5500 a night, with 8 staff and her daughter. Here's the part where I utterly empathize: sinus problems-sheer hell to contend with! www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/11/01/camilla-stays-at-5-500-a-night-indian-ayurvedic-resort-to-cure-her-sinusistis.htmlShe apparently has been there before 8 years ago... does that coincide with her last subtle overhaul? I wonder. In any event, I don't picture India as a humidity-free or allergy-free or even pollution-free for sensitive sinuses. Give me somewhere dry, temperate and breezy like a Caribbean island, a good chiropractor to crack my neck and let the air flow again to my brain and in Camilla's case, maybe an ENT doctor to have a look at her septum or brow bone. She's slightly on the Cromagnon side of evolution, bone-wise. Don't get me wrong, I've softened up on her. And a Berger lamp to kill bacteria in the air wherever I go. I'll send her my bill for a fraction of what she's paying!

I read somewhere that Camilla is away to get her off her boozing habit. Apparently she likes it just as much as Queen mum. I suppose that explains why she shouldn't be Queen. Especially since our age seems to be much more puritan than the time of Queen mum.... I wonder if American will start burning women on stakes again soon... the media seems to have made out Paula Broadwell as a suitable candidate to be the first one after a slight interruption of a few hundred years...

Problem with Paula B is that she "hacked" into the General's email to send a warning to another woman (pot, kettle ?!) Me, it's the double standard that gets me; why do men like to lie to the world about the stability of their marriages when they're fooling around left and centre? I have more respect for a single, unrepentant man-whore than a lying supposed respectable douchebag. That's just me. I don't necessarily think a man is a better person because he works at keeping a public image. A man who passes on temptations and sacrifices his impulses for the greater good gets my respect.

As far as I undestood, they exchanged messages without sending them via their draft folder. So they must have had access to each others mail. No need to hack, when you have the password. She could have sent mails in his name to anyone she liked. And he too, though I suppose it was less interesting for him....
What annoys me is that they are trying to twist it into she being the evil one and he the victim. Sorry, it takes two to tango. The guy is a former general. He sent people to their death. And he is the victim of the witch? It really angers me how these people keep twisting things so it ends up being the womans fault. Same happened with our president. They ended up blaming his faults on his wife. They even tried to convince people that she worked as a call girl prior to marrying him. I really didn't like her, but really he took the money, because he felt that he needed to impress his wife because he felt inferior or felt that he needed to be able to offer her a certain lifestyle, so she'd stay married to him. Maybe that is true, but then he should have asked himself if she was the woman he wanted. He was the one who made a decission. And there is no proof that she would not have stayed with him had he not taken the offers...
that said, considering that there is another general involved, I think we have an explanation why we had Abu Graib, soldiers running amok in Afghanistan etc etc. When the generals are busy with their private life, there is no time for the troops... ever noticed that conservative politicians, officials etc seem to have a greater track record of cheating on their wives? Not saying that lefties don't (Clinton, Hollande, Schroeder...), but somehow it's alway less of a scandal. When a declared Republican is found out, people always act as if the world is about to come to an end, whereas it happens so often that I'd say so what's new? It seems to have become a prerequisite of conservatives to have at least one mistress in the closet... then again with men who think that women can wish pregnancies away after being raped, I suppose we have to grant them complete ignorance and consider extramarital intercourse as an accident, where they tripped over a naked woman, and got stopped by her boobs and vagina from severe injuries....

The most daunting thing is that it shows you these "generals" will always fall prey to honey traps because of their libidinous natures. The world apparently hasn't evolved since the days when my ancestor in Naples sent prostitutes with venereal diseases to the enemy camp and decimated them in huge numbers. I digress. These men jeopardize security for the rest of everyone because they can't zip it up.

LOL and then they make it look as if it was womens fault so they can continue to suppress them and keep the better pay. Men have so mucked up this world. Why do women allow them to continue? Did I mention that I greatly admire that Chinese tribe, where women regard men as the inferior sex? The men live together with their family of origin and the women pick one for sex. Then the men go back to their families. Otherwise they are used as workers were their muscles are of advantage. Other then that they don't have much regard for them. Decisions are being made by women. The men slaughter animals though, go fishing and are responsible for funerals....

To see the tables turned! ;D ;D ;D LOL they are the Moso. I read somewhere though that this was originally forced on the pageants to prevent them from being able to get into nobility. Apparently their nobels are passing on their heritage differently. But I only found one source for it and I don't know enough about the researchers and their reputation. As always you need to look at what is written, by whom and with which agenda. Apparently the Chinese use them as a tourist attraction for men with imported sexworkers... Apparently they do not have marriages, which triggered the CHinese interests as they think that the women take just anyone, when in fact most of them live monogamous and do know the father of their children. They actually do traditionally visit their fathers once a year officially in his house as a gesture of respect. I still like though that the women stay with their families together and the women are the ones who decide everything around the house with the one holding the key to the house being the one in charge. She decides, when she will pass it on and to whom. Which is a bit like the nobel women in the six nations. There also the women decide who will be chief. Though they are chosing a male. But the nobel women get together and decide who will be the best for the job. So a mother entitled to suggest her own sons could very well decide against them, if she thinks they are not qualified. The good of the whole goes before the individual entitlement... IMO it's the only thing that makes sense when chosing a leader.

I guess your mom can't be a spider, as some tend to be, for this system to work.

Wow! Who knew butlers only made £24 000 !? Prince Charles's butler was abused for not wanting to move to London. He sued. Charles's ex-secretary said he runs an Edwardian home. Oh Lord! The salaries seem to reflect that! ;D

Prince Charles can't catch a break His popularity is plummeting which gets tongues wagging about the succession. Here's the deal, Chuck. You need to ditch the wife, it's a constant reminder. It's nice you married her and she's made great strides to show how impossible the triangle was and you showed this was serious love. Next! It's a non-story and like Albert following through with his wedding, it didn't score too many points. At least Albert can play the pity me card. You can't. You've had your cake and ate it too ~ nobody relates to that nor wants to give you the bonus of becoming king on top of that. www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/11/20/prince-charles-sees-popularity-slump-as-prince-william-prince-harry-and-kate-middleton-soar.html

Charles and Camila take the tube Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall take the Tube - Home News - UK - The Independent To mark the 150th anniversary of the London Underground Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall took a trip on the Tube. The pair touched in with their new Oyster Cards at Farringdon station before catching the Metropolitan line to Kings Cross. They were given a tour of the station including platform 9 3/4 from the Harry Potter books. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/prince-charles-and-the-duchess-of-cornwall-take-the-tube-8472729.htmlI'm guessing they didn't have to ride with any Third Worlders?

I read an old article about Charles where he complains that farmers get treated worse then blacks & gays... He may be more like his father than previously thought... I have to say though, that in Qc in the rights movement of the 60s, they likened themselves to the "White Negroes of America". Where do you begin...
