Oh Camilla you mean well, you do. It's very brave to take up an unglamorous and overlooked cause but I'm not sure a day at the spa will make a sexual abuse or rape victim feel human again. These are my suggestions and they're organic to you for the most part. Such a victim needs a pet, we know you love them. A pet that symbolizes pure, unconditional love that a victim can exert some care, protection and nurture over so she (or he, let's not forget gays are raped regularly) will not feel completely victimized. Secondly, the victim needs to be taken as far away geographically from where the abuse happened if only to give that person a momentary escape. S/he needs travel coupons, discounts etc. Thirdly, and maybe it's just me but a blanket, with your monogram if you want but the nicest, softest and sturdiest blanket that will remind them that you took a care for their plight. Trust me, a victim will be washing themselves compulsively for years to take the dirt off so yes, grooming products were a nice thought but more needs to be done. You being a matronly, motherly sort who rolls up her sleeve, delve in deeper than luxury products. It's simply too superficial IMO. www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/02/06/camilla-s-compassion-for-rape-victims.html

Okay, now that the effect of the Holland celebrations have worn off... did anyone notice Charles' badly swollen hands? High sodium? Edema? Bad blood circulation? Alcohol? What? It looks painful. Otherwise the rest of him is fairly fit. He does get red-faced though... like he has rosacea. Thoughts?

he never had piano player hands. And they didn't improve with age, as is common with hands... red face, well he is British right? red cheeks and nose and you know they had a drink or too....and don't put them in the sun too much...

I would take up swimming if I were him. It restores the body's fluids with the greater tides. And in cool water, not hot. Pax, you make them sound like something delicate LOL ;D

and he left Diana for her? EPIC MORON Prince Charles & Camilla Parker-Bowles Over, Queen Calls Duchess of Cornwall a Disgrace After months of speculations on Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles crumbling marriage, GLOBE Magazine latest breaking news claims that the royal couple is calling it quits after nine years of marriage. The ailing Queen allegedly called the Duchess of Cornwall a disgrace after trying to force the royal family into a $350 million divorce pay out to buy her silence, Celebdirty Laundry reports. GLOBE's July 14th edition are on their way towards divorce and the Queen mother is not going to go with her demands and wants her gone. "Camilla isn't likely to go without a fight though," based on the gossip website. "This chick has always been in it either for the crown or for a nice payday and so expect her to dig in her heels on this one. She has also been at Charles' side for over 3 decades so she certainly does have a lot of dirt on him." read more here: au.ibtimes.com/articles/558012/20140704/prince-charles-camilla-parker-bowles-divorce-wales.htm#.U7ZlC6CxKUk

I think Charles is getting some heat these days for lobbying for his causes to the government, which is not usually done. Things might be tense at home. Camilla would certainly be the oldest golddigger around if this description of her is true (!?) I do think she's a liability to his image post-Diana. It may not be the last wedding for either. A well-connected woman, sitting at the beach in Cannes one time, told me about the inner circle Camilla is from, essentially saying they were breeding mares who swapped partners among friends. I'm sure there would be dirt on Camilla - but I thought we had heard most of it, who knows... Hmmm... the International Business Times used to talk up CC at every chance and the Globe is not a reliable source, I'm afraid. I say this is a media diversion from Charles' troubles. and he left Diana for her? Prince Charles, heir to Dracula's blood line The Romanian tourist board is to use links between the British Royal family and Count Dracula to lure in UK tourists, it has emerged. Until now its lonely mountains have been synonymous with the legend of the vampire, the cruel ruler who drank his victims’ blood, terrified his enemies and could turn into a bat at will. But Transylvania should also be known as the ancestral home of the Prince of Wales, defender of faiths, with a love of gardening and classical architecture, according to the Romanian National Tourist Office. Links between the Royal Family and Vlad the Impaler, the 15th century nobleman whose deeds inspired the vampire legend, are being exploited in an attempt to lure tourists to the eastern European country. read more here: www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/prince-charles/9656769/Prince-Charles-heir-to-Draculas-blood-line.html

He was evil for sure, but not to downplay however those who fought with/against Ottomans were known to be draconian with the corpses. Here the Sioux apparently would cut the tendons of the English corpses so they would be crippled in the afterlife... Naturally, it's not an elevating connection to make between Prince Charles and Romania but he really loves that country, bats, shapeshifters and all... They're something for everyone, I guess...
