You can download photos directly onto Royal Opinions by using the "Attachment" feature when posting a new message. Click on the "Choose File" button and choose the file that you want to post directly from your computer hard drive. Royal Opinions have limited space on the sever to host such files forever. So, there is a limit to how many files can directly be attached to the boards.
You can also use file sharing accounts and then post your links to Royal Opinions. You have to have or create an account on one of the free photo hosting site. Here are three popular accounts:
tinypic: tinypic.com/
photobucket: photobucket.com/
flickr: www.flickr.com/
Once you have your account and uploaded your photo there, you can then post the assigned http address for your photo in the message box of your post. There are three ways of posting your photos into a message box
1) The photo displayed in the post which required it to be embedded between a [/IMG] code
2) The photo displayed by a labeled hyperlink, which requires it to be embedded between a code.
3) The photo url is posted directly in your post message box
1) To post your photo where it appears displayed directly in you post
For example in tinypic, there's a section titled grap your code that's visible once you upload your photo. You can select the code in the box "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards", which already has your url (http file) embedded between the IMG code (which is [/img]) that's needed to have your photo to display directly in your post. Just copy the entire code in the box and paste it in your post. You do not need to click on the "Insert Image" button in the post message box since your photo url is already embedded between the [/img] imaging code.
2) To post your photo in a hyperlink label
If you want to place your photo between a label to create a hyperlink instead of having the photo displayed directly in the post, just copy the code in the box "Direct Link for Layouts" and paste it in your message. You need to embed your photo url between the [ url=yourhyperlink]Your Label[/url][/color] code (Please note I put a space before the url so you can see the code without actually forming a link, but NO space goes between the [ and the word "url"):
[ url=http://i52.tinypic.com/28rl1kg.jpg]Your Label for Your Link Goes Here[/url]
3) Just copy the url of the photo to your post
Of course you can just copy the code in the box "Direct Link for Layouts" and paste your url directly in your post message box like below:
