I was at the race for the racing, not for whatever so-called "VIP" was goiing to be there. For me it was all out of my own pocket and guaranteed "no frills" as every year. Great event because of the drivers not because of "VIPs". I don't see how anyone can find the Casiraghis attractive. They may have titles from birth but it won't take away the fact that they are a bunch of spoiled wasted sluts. No class. I had the impression that the Monagasques love Caroline's sons and daughters, the Casiraghis are beloved in Monaco. "Spoilt" I can understand, that comes with being born into a noble family with billions of dollars, titles, inherited beauty, a palace and your own grand prix in your own sandbox. But "wasted" "sluts" hmmm well I don't understand that. Then again, I've never been to Monaco. Is the Casiraghi family a famous Italian family or just another wealthy family?

Are the Casiraghi's working and organizing the Grand Prix events or just attend? They don't take any part in the Grand Prix organisation. The FIA are the organizers (as with every other F1 race) with a participation by the ACM (Automobile Club de Monaco). As for the Casiraghis there is a French wiki page with information about the family. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefano_CasiraghiEntrepreneur is the French word for contractor. The Grimaldis and Casiraghis are living in a totally separate world from the people in Monaco who just care about their investments, work, property, getting the dice rolling and money coming in. Aside from the insiders, the groupies and the media, people can't care less about them, we never see them anyway.

Are the Casiraghi's working and organizing the Grand Prix events or just attend? they are only attending. FIA and Automobile club are doing the organizing. And no they are not that popular in MC. They have not really grown up here and only come on occasion. They are not involved in Monaco. Even Melanie is more involved. The boys are not considered particularly smart or ambitious. They are considered pretty much party boys who spend their time doing nothing. Pretty much like their uncle. Rainier used to be like that in his younger years and surprised people. Not sure whether Caros kids will do so too. Andrea is getting too old for just doing what he does. If he does not turn around soon,he will be on the same track as Albert.

Maybe we could open a thread to discuss how prepared they are (or aren't)? Or a thread where we can discuss the possible capable people than should take the throne?

Funny, how Albert doesn't miss an opportunity to pose with a pretty blond. This Swedish woman's father woman a trip to the Monaco Grand Prix and the first day that they arrive to Monaco - she's posing with Albert at the Grand Prix. Compare Albert's smile with this woman and those of him with Charlene - like night and day! After the wedding (the tabloids want their glossy photos so they are not going to upset the palace now), the tabloids will have a field day with this trashy couple and their farce of a marriage. Mr. Johansson's daughter about to be whisked to their hotel and with Albert. OUR MONACO WINNER RUBS SHOULDERS WITH ROYALTY... I. Johansson from Stockholm, Sweden spent a fantastic few days in Monaco, in the company of F1 legend David Coulthard and Prince Albert of Monaco. Mr. Johansson was lucky enough to be announced as the winner of PlayHugeLottos.com's 2011 Monaco F1 Grand Prix competition, which has run for the last 6 years and has proven to be our most popular annual promotion.
This year was no exception, and Mr Johansson decided to take his daughter with him on this incredible weekend. The prize included luxury accomodation overlooking the track and race-day viewing amongst the stars.

www.cnn.com/2011/SPORT/football/06/05/football.bahrain.arrests.F1/index.html?hpt=hp_c1"Alaa Hubail was once considered a national hero. The 28-year-old striker had been instrumental in Bahrain's greatest footballing achievement, reaching the semi-finals of the 2004 Asian Cup, where he finished joint top scorer. His goals also helped Bahrain reach two World Cup qualifying play-offs, failing to reach Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010 by just a single goal on both occasions. Remarkable achievements for a country with fewer than a million citizens. But heroes are made or broken on slim margins.
A lot of people have been targeted, soccer players, basketball players, handball players... --Nabeel Rajab
In February Hubail ceased to be a national hero to some in Bahrain after he, his brother Mohamed and fellow national team regular Sayed Mohamed Adnan -- who was nominated for the 2009 Asian Player of The Year award -- were arrested following violent February protests that nearly brought down Bahrain's Al Khalifa royal family.
All three were sacked from their club sides and effectively banned form playing on the national team.
The authorities say they were part of illegal, violent protests; international and local human rights groups say that the players, along with more than 150 sportsmen, women and administrators, were being punished for protesting peacefully against the government.
Despite the allegations that sports stars have been targeted in Bahrain the FIA, motorsport's governing body, agreed last week to re-instate Bahrain's Formula One Grand Prix, which had been postponed after anti-government protests broke out. "I still don't know under what circumstances the Grand Prix has agreed to come to Bahrain. They have taken the decision on the day two people [allegedly killed during the protests] were buried," Rajab told CNN. "How will the athletes [in jail] feel knowing that F1 is coming here? Many are in detention waiting military trial. I will urge all the drivers, journalists, everyone, to stay in solidarity with us by not going to this event. This will be the sport of the oppressor's regime

Here's another Grand Prix party that Albert attended without his trashy parasite - Billionaire Club Party. Here's the videoChampagne, and more Champagne on magnificent display at Billionaire! The well-to-do including Prince Albert of Monaco himself attend a party at the super-exclusive Billionaire Club during the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Sammy Sass, owner of SAS Caffe Monaco and Flavio Briatore, a force at Formula 1 and owner of the Billionaire club get their picture taken as the party is underway. Flavio makes his grand entrance with beautiful wife Elisabetta Briatore as the crowd goes wild, dancing to the best house music in town. Peter Ecclestone, president and CEO of Formula One management is on hand. Sparklers in champagne bottles blaze and the crowd is loving it as drinks are passed around to the well-dressed crowd who dance beneath chandeliers. Sponsors include WALL MIAMI DJ: Andrea T Mendoza Appearances: Prince Albert of Monaco, Sammy Sass, Flavio Briatore, Elisabetta Briatore, Peter Ecclestone.

I guess this video is a very fine example of the mating rituals of the rich and the famous. To participate as a woman you need to be young and half naked and willing.

nice to have pictures of her receiving some kind of jewelry. Anyone aver seen QEII do that or expect Kate to accept anything valuable offered to her in front of cameras? Monaco is such a backwood dictatorship. It's getting shadier the longer the whitetrash hangs around I knew there was something I forgot to post. Charlene's performance as a simple normal unaffected bush girl in the Paris Match mouthpiece article jogged my memory. Paca, your comment is so funny and her behavior is even worse when you see the story behind it in the below video! The segment featuring Charlene starts at time 4:18 with her bidding in the auction at time 5:11. Charlene was bidding on a diamond necklace and she lost to a bid of 80,000 euros (today that is $98,000). The bidder decided to give the money to special Olympics and he have Charlene the necklace. This is the sucking up world that Charlene live in – do you really believe that this woman was going to give up this world because Albert cheated on her? Hell no! Charlene was shocked and mad and “ran away” to show Albert that she didn’t need his money KNOWING that Albert invested and expected huge financial benefits for Monaco because of the wedding and that he was going to come after her flatt ass as he has done in the past. No one is keeping Charlene in Monaco – but Charlene’s greed and need for fame, wealth, first class luxurious lifestyle – and a bunch of people sucking up to her morning noon and night. Amber Fashion Show - F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2011More photos from the fashion show... first of the flagship of Monaco and her plastic face and body. Can you just imagine what her face will lookj like in just two years... eeewwwww Her mouth looks deformed now i52.tinypic.com/2jcj4gx.jpgBut, she still has people sucking up to her ... Charlene Wittstock kisses Philip Green during the AmberLounge Fashion Monaco 2011 on May 27, 2011 in Monaco, Monaco. i54.tinypic.com/t643rc.jpgThe proceeds from the fashion show went to Special Olympics, but in Conlene's world that means she raised the money. Watch, she'll be bragging in her next interview how much money she raised for Special Olympics. i55.tinypic.com/vq41s3.jpgi51.tinypic.com/2i8kk0l.jpgWhen in reality, the only thing this trashy con artist cares about is being seen and photographed in her new expensive designer clothing and of course shopping
