I changed the title of this thread with a new note added to the beginning post in the thread. Here's why I decided to change the title. I still have more interviews to add.The revelations about Charlene Wittstock (now Princess of Monaco) trying to flee Monaco but prevented (see this thread) and now claims that Prince Albert (her husband) has fathered two more children just during her courtship (see this thread) with him have led most to portray Charlene as a victim of Albert’s unknown (to her) sexual infidelities. Many of us “Royal Opinions old-timers” – posters who have been following this couple since Charlene’s appearance with Albert at Turin and who have been demonized and threatened with suits of defamation on various message boards for expressing a non-glorification opinion of Charlene Wittstock – have formed our opinions about Charlene from her activities, her behavior and most important her attitude and motivations revealed from her own words in several interviews that she has given since first meeting Prince Albert. While this thread is dedicated only to Charlene’s pre-engagement interviews, the below three non-scripted post engagement interviews are the ones which I believe reveal Charlene as a woman who is immensely satisfied with her new luxurious life that she felt was her destiny (and entitlement) since she first met Prince Albert. Furthermore, these three interviews reveal a woman who is extremely pleased with the more materialistic side of her life – especially fashion – and thus would never give it up. Charlene's Wedding Day BITCHY Vogue Interview Charlene's Vogue Interview & Photos – July 2011 Charlene's Tatler interview & Photos - Dec 2010 This Royal Opinions thread, Missing Years?: Relationship between 2000 & 2005, discusses an aspect of Albert and Charlene’s relationship that the media has glossed over – since their first meeting in 2000 Charlene has always known that Albert was publicly dating other women and she pursued the relationship regardless. Also, in August 2006, a Monaco insider shared with us Old Timers an incident of Charlene fleeing to her Albert-provided Paris apartment after learning of a sexual liaison Albert had on a yacht with another woman. Albert asked his then Chief of Staff, Jean-Luc Allevana (who was insulted to be asked such a request) to encourage her return since they had a public engagement “photo opp” to do. In August of 2006 after Charlene made her famous first appearance at Monaco’s Red Cross ball on August 2nd, 1) Albert had an old friend beautiful blond Heather van Suidam accompany him the following weekend to the Newport jazz Festival and People magazine even published that they were seen kissing, 2) compromising photos of Albert on a yacht with a woman was published (with photos later of Charlene evening viewing magazine covers with these photos), and indicative of Charlene being a willing and hoping participant than a victim 3) Albert and Charlene were photographed near Monaco getting off a large yacht, onto a smaller boat and then walking hand-in-hand to have lunch at a restaurant – with the cameras capturing every move.

MyAdia do you know if the clip of Charlene putting the snake down her friends back still exists. That was quite telling about her nature. As I recall the friend was terrified of snakes and the clip shows Charlene putting it down her friend's back with the friend screaming and Charlene laughing. She was an adult when she did this. I think if it's possible find this, it would really show the world what she is truly like. JMO

She is definitely NOT a victim. She has known his character -- or lack thereof -- for many years now. She wanted the tiara at any costs. However, I think she really is dillusional and thought that his womanizing would stop once they became engaged. She NOT a victim ... just a dilusional little girl playing out a fantasy on the world stage.

Not a victim at all. She wanted something and she needed to pay for it - she knew the price. You can't call her a victim because she has to pay the price and doesn't like it.

Oh please a victim!! She is everything but a victim. She knew who he was. She accepted is many "sexcapades" and now she is surprised by some babymama!!!
She is calculating enough to get to the glory of being a new princess well then she should have known that glory does not come without pain and misery. Sorry its true! It is not a curse when you fiance acts like an irresponsible buffoon and you let him. And second of all how about contraception! Pregnancy should be the least of your worries Charlene how about venereal diseases plus Does Albert know condom exist for a reason?
Trust me these news of baby or should i say babies have been known in Monaco from sometime now. During F1 people were making jokes about it!!! And trust me she knew about it Everyone did
No she is in no way a victim and dont let anyone tell you otherwise
PS i think she should try to use her calculating ways and her claws to help her hubby out of the hole he digged for himself. For better for worst right? But then again do we believe she will know what she committed too and does she know what those words really mean?
IMO Well a child is never the "worst". In this case the child or children are the victims!

NO VICTIM of circumstances or Albert - definitly not! She knew him.
BUT she is a victim of her own inability to think ahead. She was playing with the media like with fire and it worked out for many years - the media (Bunte and Co.) builded her up, forums had to close, we all remember ... but it is impossible to control the media on the middle or long run. They are like a shoal - out of the blue they turn against, all togehter, like they praised you in unison before.
So Charlene became victim of her own illusions ... and maybe the advices of "friends".

thanks ...if it wasn't all so sad CW was build up as Princess by the media - undeserved. Nobody can choose the background he/she is born in. But when you are given a chance -just like CW- to complete your education, to learn a new language while not having to worry about how you pay your apartment or your lunch AND DON'T USE this chance but hang around posing for pictures ... I see nothing in her that is serene or high: NO CINDERELLA. Charlene was not "patient" with Albert! She had nothing better to do - so she hang around and got payed (pretty much for a high school dropout who didn't qualify for Olympic games!), hoping Albert will become weak/ desperate enough to marry her. I don't know what she has done behind his back - but it is evident CW used alleys to make him marry her, people who had an interest in Albert marrying a girl like her. They don't do it for good will but because they have an agenda. Now they are using Charlene - if you have nothing to offer it is clear that you put yourself 100% in someones hands: you depend more than the other one and have nothing to put against. Blond as she is: but street-smart Charlene must have known. NO VICTIM.How Albert should respect such a woman??? His "only" mistake was to announce her official companion and then fiancée. Thats why the role of a victim -the poor betrayed Charlene- is IMO even more undeserved than the Cinderella image of poor Charlene who made it from a swimming pool in S.A. to Princess of Monaco: How can know-nothing, learn-nothing, do-nothing, care-for-nobody-but-herself Charlene suppose that anyone respects or loves her or that she has any say? It was a extremely asymetric relationship from the start and Charlene did NOTHING to change it while she had all time, money and assistance to do so: finish school, learn a profession, learn a new language to a) prove Albert: I don't need you = you can believe me I love you b) gain some respect c) leave when husband-to-be is cheating or simply doesn't love you for whatever reason or you find out he's not the man you want to/ can spend your live with She had it all in her hands and blew it!!! Didn't I write some weeks ago that she should take the jackpot and RUN!!! (Not even knowing about the children..) ... before the rumors about the new children came out she had the image of the woman the Prince of Monaco loved and wanted to marry. Now she has nothing but an empty title... But on the other hand: being no victim makes her SOVEREIGN - not the ring on her finger but to understand that she is NO VICTIM makes her SOVEREIGN. To put off this ring and start to live HER live - going back to S.A., start an own foundation, teach children to swim, find a man who loves her and be herself makes her Princess. And if she is clever she doesn't talk to the media too much... ooohhh ... as much as I don't like her but she should look for new people to give better advice - it's for free on RO

ZDF removed the video from online after the engagement because they scheduled a re-run of it. When I looked a few months ago, the YouTube clip of that scene was removed also. I believe the clip is in ZDF's documentary on the couple. I haven't watched the documentary yet. So, we have thread for the ZDF documentary.: ZDF Two-Parter "Albert & Charlene"

She NOT a victim ... just a dilusional little girl playing out a fantasy on the world stage. SMT, I believe also that Charlene thought and Albert probably agreed that the womanizing would stop once they got engaged. The womanizing bothers Charlene more because of the public embarrassment which will cause less to suck up to her and sing her praises in the media. I do not think Charlene is as concerned about the betrayal aspect from a man she loves or supposedly love her. Remember, Charlene is an arrogant narcissist.
