*** Admin Change of Original Thread title (Charlene Wittstock's Pre-engagement Interviews ) and a note *** The revelations about Charlene Wittstock (now Princess of Monaco) trying to flee Monaco but prevented (see this thread) and now claims that Prince Albert (her husband) has fathered two more children just during her courtship (see this thread) with him have led most to portray Charlene as a victim of Albert’s unknown (to her) sexual infidelities. Many of us “Royal Opinions old-timers” – posters who have been following this couple since Charlene’s appearance with Albert at Turin and who have been demonized and threatened with suits of defamation on various message boards for expressing a non-glorification opinion of Charlene Wittstock – have formed our opinions about Charlene from her activities, her behavior and most important her attitude and motivations revealed from her own words in several interviews that she has given since first meeting Prince Albert. While this thread is dedicated only to Charlene’s pre-engagement interviews, the below three non-scripted post engagement interviews are the ones which I believe reveal Charlene as a woman who is immensely satisfied with her new luxurious life that she felt was her destiny (and entitlement) since she first met Prince Albert. Furthermore, these three interviews reveal a woman who is extremely pleased with the more materialistic side of her life – especially fashion – and thus would never give it up. Charlene's Wedding Day BITCHY Vogue Interview Charlene's Vogue Interview & Photos – July 2011 Charlene's Tatler interview & Photos - Dec 2010 This Royal Opinions thread, Missing Years?: Relationship between 2000 & 2005, discusses an aspect of Albert and Charlene’s relationship that the media has glossed over – since their first meeting in 2000 Charlene has always known that Albert was publicly dating other women and she pursued the relationship regardless. Also, in August 2006, a Monaco insider shared with us Old Timers an incident of Charlene fleeing to her Albert-provided Paris apartment after learning of a sexual liaison Albert had on a yacht with another woman. Albert asked his then Chief of Staff, Jean-Luc Allevana (who was insulted to be asked such a request) to encourage her return since they had a public engagement “photo opp” to do. In August of 2006 after Charlene made her famous first appearance at Monaco’s Red Cross ball on August 2nd, 1) Albert had an old friend beautiful blond Heather van Suidam accompany him the following weekend to the Newport jazz Festival and People magazine even published that they were seen kissing, 2) compromising photos of Albert on a yacht with a woman was published (with photos later of Charlene evening viewing magazine covers with these photos), and indicative of Charlene being a willing and hoping participant than a victim 3) Albert and Charlene were photographed near Monaco getting off a large yacht, onto a smaller boat and then walking hand-in-hand to have lunch at a restaurant – with the cameras capturing every move. *** End of Admin Change and Note. Original Post comment is below *** There are a lot of background information that I want to post on Royal Opinions, but I do not have all my older files right now, so I decided to wait. However, Charlene's recent comment about the media negativity and intrusion into her life really sparked me to post what I have now. This woman - Charlene Lynette Wittstock is such a pathological liar and a master manipulator of the press, but she gets away with her lies because people do not have a history of her previous comments and actions. If you read Charlene's past interviews and statements too the press, you can easily see why after the engagement announcement, a friend of Albert and someone who knows Charlene quite well told the Chicago Sun times that Charlene is ''quite the operator. ... She has made marrying Albert her total focus ever since she met him'' in 2000.So as you read he interviews in this thread you'll understand why Charlene's below quote 11 years later in June 2011 quite laughable! Charlene: Well, I find it you know a little bit disappointing sometimes with the press in Europe that eh, well actually around the world they like to harm on negative and they like to probe and dig and find. I mean the media isn’t what it was fifty years ago. So, you got this you know access to everyone one. If you have a telephone you are a journalist yourself. So, to have your guard up the whole time is kind of tiring. So, we cherish like the, the intimate suh quite moments that we have for ourselves because uh it’s all that we have really. There are so many statements that Charlene makes in this interview that solidifies Charlene as a scheming narcissistic manipulating operator. But, the most important thing to realize about this interview before you get into the details is that this woman actually gave an interview to this South African reporter describing her date with Prince Albert as soon as she return to South Africa after attending the Mare Nostrum Swimming tour in Monaco and Europe. Besides the fact that she is talking to the press about this date, Charlene wanting Albert to ask her coach's permission in front of her teammates and then noting to the reporter the looks on their faces really exemplifies Charlene's narcissistic behavior. her also noting to the reporter that Albert almost married a swimmer really lays the groundwork why she crafted her "I am only interested in training for the Beijing Olympic" swan song that eventually helped her to get the Princess deal that she so desperately wanted. These two things are even more relevant after Charlene revealed in her Tatler interview that she knew when she first met Albert that she was destined to be Princess Charlene.
Swimmer tells of dream date with Prince Charming
Sunday Times (South Africa) by Edwin lombard 1 Jul 2001
One of the world's most eligible bachelors, Prince Albert of Monaco, treated an attractive South African swimming champion to a dream night-long date in Monte Carlo - and asked her to call him when she was back in town.
Blonde breaststroke champion Charlene Wittstock, 23, said this week she and the heir to the throne of Monaco had partied until the early hours when she was in the kingdom three weeks ago to take part in the Mare Nostrum 2001 swimming championship, hosted by the prince.
The curvaceous swimmer said the 43-year-old prince approached her while she was standing in the food queue at the Tulip Hotel along with swimmers from Sweden and Canada. "He remembered me from the previous year when I won the 50m breaststroke and he had handed me a bunch of flowers," she said.
Wittstock, who was training in Strand near Cape Town this week, said the prince asked her if she would accompany him on a night on the town.
"When he came up to me and asked me, I wasn't exactly sure what I should say. I was more worried about my curfew and whether I would be allowed to go out so late at night. So I said he should ask the team management for permission.
"He said he wouldn't take no for an answer and proceeded to escort me to the table where the rest of our team was enjoying their lunch. Of course, when I introduced the prince there was a frozen silence. He had no problem getting permission to take me out and promised to bring me back himself."
A nervous Wittstock rushed to a shop with teammate and Olympic qualifier Sarah Poewe "to get something to wear".
"I didn't know what to wear. I didn't pack anything that would match the occasion. We eventually picked a knitted top and long skirt."
At the agreed hour the prince, accompanied by bodyguards, knocked on the South Africans' hotel door and escorted Wittstock to a waiting "stretched" Rolls-Royce.
"We sat right at the back and he starting chatting about his love for sport and swimming. He was training for a biathlon. I think he qualified for the Winter Olympics. He was very charming and a complete gentleman. He asked me about myself and the kind of things I like."
Wittstock and her Prince Charming's first stop was a nightclub in the heart of Monaco's famous clubland.
After the couple danced the night away they left discreetly and drove through the streets of Monaco, sipping champagne in the back of the Rolls-Royce.
"We drove around the city for a while. He asked me whether I'd seen much of Monaco and when I said no, he said he'd show me."
The prince pointed out Monaco landmarks including the Pink Palace, the home of his family, the Grimaldis.
The prince's father, Prince Rainier, was quoted in the French magazine Le Figaro last year expressing his wish to step down as ruler of Monaco and hand the throne to his son. But he said he wanted Albert to produce an heir first, as it was essential for the future of the principality and his family.
The Grimaldi family has ruled Monaco since 1297 and is one of Europe's oldest royal families. Prince Rainier has been on the throne for 50 years.
Although Prince Albert has been seen with some of the world's most beautiful women, not one of them has been able to drag him to the altar.
"He told me how he nearly got married to a swimmer once. He seems to like swimmers and he attends most of the swimming events held in Monaco. He said if he doesn't marry soon and produce an heir he might have to adopt his nephew, the son of Princess Caroline, in order for the line of succession to continue," Wittstock said.
"After we drove around for some time, I thought he was going to take me back to the hotel, but instead we drove to his condominium.
"It is a three-bedroom apartment overlooking Monte Carlo. I felt a bit scared, not knowing what to expect. I knew it was a date, but I didn't expect much.
"We were not entirely alone. One of his assistants made us coffee as we stared out into the night. I think he liked me because I made him laugh."
Around 5am that morning, the playboy prince escorted his date to the front of her hotel room as promised.
"He gave me his phone number and said when I'm ever in Monaco again I should give him a call. I was so exhausted that I fell onto my bed.
"Later that morning Sarah [Poewe] and I looked frantically for the phone number, but I just couldn't find it," Wittstock said.
She said she was looking forward to the swimming championship in Monaco next year, where she hopes to meet up with the prince again.

Charlene gave an interview to South Africa Sports Illustrated that was published in December 2001. I don't have the full article right now (I just have an excerpt I posted elsewhere that's still available), but I'll post what I have and the rest later when I have all my files. This interview really gives some insight about some of the things that we have observed played out publicly in this relationship and Charlene. Charlene reveals that she is selfish and self absorbed, disappointed that people did not know who she is and her boyfriends cheated on her.
Sports Illustrated (South Africa) December 2001
...
Swimmers aren't exactly paid a king's ransom, but are expected to travel a great deal. How do you make it to the end of each month without having to beg for your next meal? Charlene: I don't want to give all my secrets of survival away. I'll tell you my day job later, or should I say my night job? Our federation helps us out but you have to be in the top 16 of the world rankings. I'm also privileged to have Mr Price as a sponsor and I do have a monthly retainer which helps with bringing the groceries in…
…
What sort of future do you envisage for yourself when you finally wash out the chlorine for the last time? Charlene: When I'm finished swimming I would like to get into some form of public relations. I don't think I could be a sports commentator like the ex-cricketers, I would just get all the names wrong and make a fool of myself. I love meeting different people and I enjoying watching different sports. Plus I would like to do something for somebody that was never done for me. I would go out and market all the swimmers and make sure everybody knows who they are.
With so much time and energy spent in the pool and flying around the world, is there ever a chance for you to develop any 'meaningful' relationships? Charlene: Sportsmen and women are very selfish people, very self-absorbed. Nothing is ever allowed to come between our sport and our desires. Sometimes you would like to be normal, but the desire to win often stops you from getting involved with other people. It's very hard to have a relationship because they don't understand that you have to travel. I've had boyfriends that would have other girlfriends by the time that I get back from my trips. I try not to get too involved because I get heartbroken…

I believe with every fiber in my being that this "I never retired" and "Mandela Inspired Me" interview was the beginning of Charlene's scheme to get Albert to sponsor her for life. In a later 2009 interview with an Italian magazine, Charlene admitted to attending a Tennis tournament in Paris with Albert, but the relationship was not defined. Charlene had nothing going on in her life and she decided to create this scheme of "training for the Beijing Olympic" project to get not only Albert's attention, but also his support. Charlene had kept in contact with Albert sending him condolences after his father dies and of course reading about his investiture and speech - which Albert talks about his admiration of Mandela. I bet you Charlene never mentioned Mandela's name in public until Albert mentioned him in his speech on July 12, 2005. Seriously, Charlene is a con artist and she was spinning her web for her Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene scheme with this interview. Also note, Graham Hill was not Charlene's coach when she hooked back up with Albert after new years 2006 - Hill was not part of Charlene's fake Olympic training scam because he knew that Charlene - who was not even on the National team for the last two years was not an Olympic contender and she was NOT eligible to even swim internationally - which she didn't since all of her babbling to the press of training for the Beijing Olympics. Question: Wasn't Robin Francis a former boyfreind of Charlene?
Wittstock back in the water
By Simon Osler September 6 2005
The queen of South African swimming, Charlene Wittstock, is back - and set on being the lady of the rings.
Wittstock, 27, has set her sights on the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, and aims to go out at the top with a medal at the biggest event on the swimming calendar.
In an exclusive interview, Wittstock said says a variety of factors, not the least of which was a word of encouragement from Nelson Mandela, has spurred her return to the water, and Durban.
"Despite what many people think, I had never retired," says Wittstock, who has rejoined the Mr Price Seagulls club at their Lahee Park base as she prepares to race the 50m and 100m backstroke events.
"I had a shoulder injury and took an extended rest. I needed to put certain things in perspective, and went on holiday to London in January. While I was there I met Madiba and he inspired me and told me to make the full use of my potential. So, here I am, back and hungry for success.
"There is no better place to train than in Durban. All the while that I was away, I had kept in touch with Graham Hill, who I believe is the best coach in the world," she said of the man who recently was named South African coach of the year.
Wittstock has been training for only two weeks so far, but says things are going really well.
"I feel a lot stronger, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. My dream has always been to win an Olympic medal and I have overcome a lot of hurdles and feel better for it.
"I believe I will be a lot stronger than I was two years ago. It's been fun to get back into the water again."
So, what's up first for Wittstock, and what about next year's Commonwealth Games?
"I'll be back in action at the Mr Price Seagulls Short-course gala at the end of the month, and it will be interesting to see how I go. My main focus is Beijing, so any meet I am selected for will be preparation for the Olympics," she says.
"I have put every non-swimming thing aside and am really motivated and focused. I have been in contact with Ryk (Neethling) and Roland (Schoeman) and they have been hugely supportive."
The Benoni-born bombshell has always been one of the glamour girls of sport - not just in South Africa, but on the international swimming circuit too - and during the course of the interval there are regular interruptions from junior swimmers who come up to say hello. Wittstock has a personal word of encouragement for each of them.
"I hope I can be a good role model for them and give them something to aspire to. There are not too many senior female swimmers around for the younger ones to look up to."
As a winner of many world cup races on four continents, Wittstock's profile in the swimming community is already high. Olympic glory and a gold medal would truly make her the lady of the rings.
In another boost for the sport, and Hill's reputation as a coach who is attracting the best swimmers in the world, Robin Francis arrived from England yesterday to join up with the Seagulls squad.
The Daily News has lined up an exclusive interview with this medley star of whom great things are expected.

Charlene really put on a performance at the Turin Olympics. recall, she was Albert's private booty call and she knew Albert has other women. Turin was her chance to signal the other woman and more importantly the press that she was Albert's main squeeze and the let them know coyly that she was the future Princess of Monaco. Charlene really did tell the press that she was Albert's lover by her actually comments to reporters and obviously by her actions in the stadium. I'll just post some photos form Turin just to remind you how scheming and manipulative with the press this con artist is. These photos were not publish with the Italian LaStampa whose journalist Charlene spoke directly to with her "lovers' holiday" comment.

Below is the Google translation of the original LA Stampa Italian article (I'll post the Italian below so if anyone want to correct some of the more important quotes). Charlene, the con artist, knew exactly what she was doing and saying with her comments. Her follow-up interviews with Bunte and Paris Match are proof of this. Please notice how in every single interview she is telling the press how much she loves children - a prerequisite for being a princess. Good lawd - who cannot see this woman for what she really is - a manipulating gold digger? What man in public office - let alone a head of state Sovereign Prince - would marry such a woman? No one but Albert - the Village Idiot of Monaco. If you notice from the article, this reporter followed Albert and Charlene for a while, so I believe that Charlene made these comments. Also, photographers who were photographing Albert and Charlene also noted in photo captions that Charlene made these comments.
MONACO PRINCE HOUSE AFTER RIDING WHILE I REMEMBER THE GIRLFRIEND swimmer looks ahead: I train for Beijing in love with Albert and Charlene at Sestriere
La Stampa By Longo Grazia February 13, 2006
Longo Grazia sent to SESTRIERE "" Look what it 'beautiful, just a trace of makeup ", but" "And he then? It will not be 'George Clooney, but that charm, that's just something of a royal ". In the midst of upturned noses' to follow the standards of the descent, many prefer to dream of peering furtively Prince Albert of Monaco and his beautiful girlfriend Charlene Wittstock. In a sunlit Sestriere and the enthusiasm of fans and fans looking for celebrities, the couple can not 'go unnoticed. In fact, draws attention like a magnet and comments that alternate with the performance of athletes.
A separate Albert and Charlene are not enough 21 years of difference, he 48 she 27, to join us over there love 'passion for the sport. If he has competed in five Winter Olympics in a row the team of Bob the principality of Monaco, she has participated in various competitions in swimming for his country, South Africa. Blonde, slender, blue eyes protected by big dark glasses and a sweet smile that charms, Charlene yesterday and 'earned the medal in pectore in the field of princess. For good luck, however, 'not off balance, "" No, we still have marriage plans, we met five years ago at a party in Monaco but now I'm focused on my work. I'm training for the Beijing Olympics in 2008 "."
A group of young people will grab the information that the couple after the ceremony for the race, will travel 'in City Hall because' the prince will sign 'The Golden Book of the Olympics prepared by the Mayor Andrea Colarelli. Follow the procession with the stock and 'a gymkhana in fact impossible and the boys arrive at their destination when the pair is now to trace the car and go. They have missed the declaration of love by Charlene in Turin and the mountains that surround it. "Turin is not only 'beautiful, and' very romantic, perfect for the holiday of lovers.
The kitchen and then 'amazing, especially cheese and chocolate. "
Meanwhile, exchange of gifts between the prince and the mayor - a snowflake white gold with the emblem of Sestriere for a commemorative medal of Monaco - Charlene and gives the little son of a pin Olympic deputy mayor. Hazel eyes wide open and the child say 'been kidnapped by the gesture, that of Albert as well. ""
I like children very much "she admits, while ensuring that the boyfriend will be back next weekend in Sestriere. "" I would have liked to run again on the bob but now I'm old "jokes, then add that" too many commitments court did not allow me to keep me all week at Casa Monaco, in Pragelato. But I am convinced that our team will qualify 'so I will not' fail '. "
More smiles and handshakes, then escorted away by Finance.
To the disappointment of Mark, Fulvia, and Maura, who are not resigned to losing the chance for a breath 'to get closer to a fairy-tale couple.

In addition to the Paris Match interview right after the Turin Olympics, Charlene also had a phone interview with the creepy Bunte reporter who is in love with her. Charlene really thinks she is so slick in this interviw - but she isn't - she is real;ly transparent. Albert is just a fool to not see through this media-whore gold digger. In this interview - Charlene again states how much she loves children and felt the need to share how much the media is interested in her - including what kind of toilet paper she used. She also felt the need to share hat she can only dring one beer - if she has two or more than she is wasted. Bunte also talks to one of Charlene's high school teacher (what does "Musterschuelerin" means?). Charlene's high school reputation must not have been too favorable because Bunte didn't mention Charlene's high school career again in the other hundreds of articles that wrote begging Albert to marry her - they only discussed her junior high school. The Google translation is not he best, but good enough to get the gist of the conversation - Charlene is a crafty little gold digger who used the media to promote her as the next Princess of Monaco.
"Yes, I love children very much!" .. and now a daughter, 14, in the United States?
... AND WHAT DOES THE BEAUTIFUL EVEN swimmer?
by Stefan Blatt 2 March 2006
Since the photos of the Olympic Games in Turin, with Albert of Monaco, 47, is Charlene Wittstock, 28 world famous. International magazines, they show on the title from Sydney to Stockholm newspapers report about the beautiful Swimmer from South Africa. Outside the Church later than a few days alone in Turin emerges, there are wild rumors like Charlene was in Monte Carlo in the palace, she was hiding in a chalet in the mountains near Turin. Where is she?
BUNTE dialed her phone number and was promptly Charlene Wittstock on the line. She laughed, said a pleasant voice: "To me it is very good I am back in my native South Africa in Johannesburg. In Turin I had a wonderful time. "
Several days were the deutschstaemmige Charlene and the Monegasque prince together at the Olympics, had flirted publicly.
In front of the journalist Grazia Longo of the Italian newspaper "La Stampa "had raved Charlene Wittstock: "Turin is a very romantic City, ideal for couples. We have no Heiratsplaene " She continued: "Yes, I love children very much."
Charlene Wittstock to BUNTE says: "As stated in Turin with his royal Sovereignty was, is a very private and highly personal matter. How all this goes remains to be seen. I'm just very excited to be Swimming career focused. My goal in the Olympic Games in 2008 Beijing. For that I train very hard to qualify myself. A gold medal – Medal would be a dream, the crowning glory of my career."
She continued: "I want my children and adolescents bring sports closer and therefore offer coaching clinics. At the moment it is very difficult for me to concentrate on my sport, because everyone wants to know from me, as with Albert was. As the most bizarre questions come to my private life. Everything about seems interesting, even the color of my toilet paper. "
We know that she is very disciplined and determined. Properties also needs a future princess of Monaco.
Her former English teacher Barbara Arthur of Benoni High School South Africa: "Charlene was a Musterschuelerin. She was very popular. Industrious, simply excellent. "
It is no coincidence: On the family crest of an eagle emblazoned Wittstock, Symbol of bravery, pride and chivalry.
About Charlene Wittstock says to himself: "We are not the swimmers largest party makers. After a can of beer I'm already drunk. Outside of the pool I do not have much time. I still try, to be for my family and friends there. If I celebrate me, I drink No more than two beers and then I am no longer usable. I must make certain things not because they are too dangerous and I injured could. Sometimes I am very lonely and still, even though the may sound strange, even in very stressful. There is always the same routine, the I am living: eating, sleeping, swimming, weight training ".
Your rendezvous with Albert, however, was certainly not routine. "He is the the only man with whom I ever got weak knees ", they had in prior years, one Interview stood.
Looking at the touching images of Turin, the need Charlene Wittstock to do well no worries. The prince, they might even catch ...

"A gold medal – Medal would be a dream, the crowning glory of my career." She did not even qualify This girl is totally overestimating herself... ... like with being able to be a Princess. A title makes no Princess of Monaco. It was Grace who made the title ... and CW destroys it acting like a bull in the China shop. (Charlene, we know you are reading us: didn't your father state that you was put to a swimming pool for being so clumsy that you constantly injured yourself outside water?)

I'll just post some photos form Turin just to remind you how scheming and manipulative with the press this con artist is. These photos were not publish with the Italian LaStampa whose journalist Charlene spoke directly to with her "lovers' holiday" comment. There is so much I want to say about these interviews, but I need to take it paragraph by paragraph and I don't want to mess up your thread too much, because I think it should be a nice straight read that shows who this girl really is and what a self important liar she is. I jumped in here to say there were quotes in the press at this time in Turin where a few reporters pepper her about when the wedding was going to be, and instead of ignoring them, she says presumptuously "not YET" Like not now, but I WILL BE! Just wait! This girl cannot hide her arrogance and promposity any better now than she does here. Also I think we should include the interview when the reporter is trying to interview her coach about his team (not Charlene) where she pipes up Tthat she will be on a yacht." I like that interview because it shows how she needs to show how important she thinks she is to the world and how superficial she is. The reporter is obviously trying to convey "Get a load of this chick." Even in the interview above it seems the reporter is trying to print quotes of hers that really shows Charlene's true character--no need for him to have to point to it when she says it all for him. It's too bad we can't find that photo anymore that goes with these photos where she is actually laying in Albert's lap in a very public place staring straight into the camera lens, and I don't mean the one where she is just laying back on Albert's chest looking into the camera lens--I'm talking about the one that showed her head full down in his lap looking into the camera lens. She paints a very different picture of her experience in Turin in Vogue than she portrays here--she looks rather confident and satisfied with herself there if you ask me. Which interview was it where she tells that she was so distraught from her break up that she couldn't swim for years and she missed the Athens Olympics? Was that suppose to be one of the hurdles she was talking about? This girl is a mediocre swimmer regarding the Olympics even in her own country. If this girl lived in the U.S. she would have have never qualified to be anywhere near the Olympics, and she has the nerve to say she is hoping for a gold medal ;D and that it would be the cherry on top of her illustrious career as a swimmer--this girl really is too much! She even admits in the interview that she is no where near what she needs to be in the ranking to get much support from anyone, but she is hoping for a gold medal. In all these interviews does she really think people miss the obvious name dropping and trying to connect herself to people she barely knows--using people to try to elevate herself including all the self congratulatory compliments that are just as apparent here as they are in her currant Vogue interview. Nothing has changed about her--she is in fact much worse as we all knew she would be. I'll comment on Vogue interview in that thread. There is an interviews where she mentions her ex boyfriends too, or at least one of them. I think that's where she mentions she couldn't swim in Athens because she was so devastated by her break up. I think there is also an interview where she talks about swimming in Bath trying to earn enough money for her ticket home, but I don't think she means SA--I am pretty sure she was living in England then, but she seems to want to skip over this part of her life for some reason . We can't forget the quips by her and her dad right after Turin and the pictures of granny, that prompted Albert's response to go on the Today Show just to deny the marriage rumors that she and her family were fueling in the press where her father said she was working on being the only women in Albert's life. In the Vogue interview she acts like Turin was their second or third date, but she is already planning on a wedding speaking to the media every chance she gets giving interviews. This girl has to be the biggest media whore in the world! Did you catch the remark about the Wittstock family crest! ;D I want to say more about those first interviews but I'll save it for another post. Sorry I didn't intend to make this so long. Thanks MYadia for doing this!

I have to laugh how she tries to imply how completely focused she is on swimming, but then she contradicts herself about how she can't concentrate on her swimming because so many people want to know about her--maybe if she wasn't so eager to talk to the press "...She promptly" comes to the phone..." I bet! MyAdia you know I agree with everything you said here. She mentions Graham Hill to draw importance to her again, even though he wants nothing to do with her by then! She alludes to her time in England there where she said she was on holiday! England is a very expensive place to live especially for someone from SA--I would you love to know who was "sponsoring her" She said People think she retired, well when you're not swimming and on an "extended" leave because she had already st her sites on hitching herself a free ride with some other guy and when she got dumped she was forced to come out of retirement while she had to set her sites elsewhere like trying to reconnect with Albert! I really want to know her real story in London.

those pics from Torino make my skin crawl. She really looks so hard and scheming there. She only stares into the camera. She doesn't even really pay attention to ALbert, only to the camera. And I have not seen a single pic of her when she was not aware that her picture was taken. SO basically we have never seen her normal face on pic.

Paca, I agree! Those set of photos are the ones that I have always stated shows without a shadow of doubt what Charlene's intention were in Turin - to reel her in a sugar daddy and ultimately a life of luxury for the rest of her life! Based on the articles in Monaco during Albert's attendance there with Charlene, most of the people in Monaco knew what kind of girl Charlene was also. I'm sure Albert's advisers expressed their displeasure at Albert's behavior with this piece of gold digging trash, which is why he sent Charlene home and brought in Pierre to sit with him at the events. The Turin Olympics was the moment in Albert's reign where he made himself look like a fool instead of a head of state. Here are more photos where the media-whore also performed not only for the cameras but also for the people in the stadium. Just look how the people are looking at them Everything that Charlene came to Monaco was cheap from that god-awful coat down to her disposable camera that Albert is using to take her photo. Look at her over the top "look at me" pose. Can someone tell me the need for them to walk up stadium stairs hugged up like this - but to garner attention. This is not he best photo, but you can see some of the details of Charlene's outfit once she took off her coat - and what you can see of the lacy part - it is a typical trashy Charlene outfit.

Sandsla, you never have to apologize to me for commenting - no matter how long - on anything I post. I spend a lot of time researching and preparing my posts and it will be a waste of my time if no one ever comments on them. I have all those interviews that you mentioned and I will eventually post them all. But, right now, most of them are on another computer that I don't have access to right now (and I don't won't everyone know about my extreme hobby on these people). But, trust me, I will post them because I am hoping one day that the media really decide to write the truth about this gold digging con artist piece of trash and her earlier words and actions in these interviews spell out her intentions quite clear.
I posted these article so that people will at least read them and hopefully comment. I will eventually better organize the beginning post in this thread to add a description of the interviews and group them in categories. The first post in this thread is there for anyone who just want to go to a particular interview and read it and not have to read through pages of threads (hopefully threads if people read these interviews and comment on them).

In addition to the Paris Match interview right after the Turin Olympics, Charlene also had a phone interview with the creepy Bunte reporter who is in love with her. Charlene really thinks she is so slick in this interviw - but she isn't - she is real;ly transparent. She should have been married him instead of PA.

remember the Deslandes interview which came a bit after Turin? There were quite a few remarks that were pointed to Albert and his behaviour at the Olympics. He even had to redo the same interview within days for damage control and say loads of nice things about Albert. But he clearly pointed out trashys lack of education as opposed to the well educated Monegasques.

In addition to talking with the Bunte creepy reporter Stefan Blatt (who likes “feeling up” Charlene’s cashmere dresses) soon after her very public “performance” at the Turin Olympics to let everyone know that she is Albert’s lover, she also had an interview with a Paris Match reporter. Charlene’s first interview with Paris Match was conducted by Isabelle Léouffre (the same one still writing TODAY about Albert and Charlene’s great fairy tale love story!) in Durban, South Africa on February 24, 2006. Charlene had two friends who accompanied her when she met the reporter, Dawn East, who she identified as her “agent” responsible for “removing undesirables” (her arrogance and narcissism clearly evident here) and Leanne Bouman, who she introduced as her best friend. Any bets on whether these two people are still in her life? Charlene's first Paris Match interview - published March 2, 2006 This interview really is a con artist and gold digger manifesto on how to catch a sucker prince and become princess. Charlene really shows what a fame-whore con artist she really is – but of course Albert the Village Idiot of Monaco doesn’t see her this way. I’m sure many newcomers will read Charlene’s rather flattery and motivating words and proclaim her such a lovely, generous, kind-hearted humanitarian. Clearly, Albert believed every single word she said six years ago, which is why even today he praises how much of a humanitarian Charlene is and how her love and caring of the welfare of under-privileged children attracted him to her. Here is one of the photos that was published with the article: A photo of Charlene at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Charlene mentioned in an interview in 2001, she always wanted t people to know who she was and was disappointed when they didn’t. So, I guess the Sydney Olympics photo soot did garner her fame. Now, look at her today – she has a Vogue photo shot – I guess she thinks that she has made it. No, I am sure the style icon’s goal is to make the COVER of Vogue.

I tried to correct the Google translation of the original article as best as I could. Here’s the link to the article, Paris Match has reposted their first interview with Conlene in their celebration of the wedding to let their readers know all about Charlene. I cannot even begin to comment on the details of this interview because it is so sickening for me because I have read this con artist previous interviews and comments to the press before she hooked up with meal ticket, the Village Idiot of Monaco. If people/the media would have actually read some of Charlene’s pre-February 2006 interviews or even noted her activities (vacationing with Albert around the world and not training nor competing) until December 2006, they would easily realize that Charlene Wittstock is an outright pathological liar who manufactured the “training for the Olympics” scheme so that she would never have to worry about where she was going to get money from groceries again (as she has stated in a previous interview that she had to borrow money to buy food). I would love to give Charlene credit as being a good con artist, but she really isn’t because a middle schooler could have done the simple research and realized that many of the things that Charlene now expresses in this interview are contradictions from what she has done and expressed in the past. Eventually, I will post every single article that shows every single one of Charlene’s lies in this interview.
EXCLUSIVE,OUR HEAD-TO-FACE WITH CHARLENE
Since she was seen holding hands with Prince Albert of Monaco at the Turin Olympics, the world wonders. At her home in South Africa, she gave us an interview.
An interview with Isabelle Léouffre Durban March 2, 2006
And Charlene returned to Durban ... four days after appearing for the first time at the opening ceremony of the Olympics near Albert of Monaco. And Charlene nothing has changed in her life. As she had already announced it, she has "put aside everything that does not involve swimming," because she is pursuing a dream, and only one at a time. To win an Olympic medal. A desire further fueled by the trip to Turin. But to be part of the South Africa team who will go to Beijing in 2008, she must first be selected. A champion career is built in months and years. So Charlene postponed for later the things which might make her happy right now. And does not want to talk about anything except sports and hope.
"Prince Albert ..." In the sports world in Durban, the meeting of Charlene, 28, and the ruler of Monaco has not yet caused a revolution. No, given the third largest city in South Africa, the Rock is definitely a very distant land, one that is difficult to locate somewhere between France and Italy. In other words, the home of Martians. However, we are not aware who is Charlene Wittstock, the swimming champion who is preparing diligently for the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Probably the last of her career. Generally at 30, a swimmer must think about retirement ... It is a word that shocks yet, when you see this beautiful blonde of 1.80 meters in jeans and a black T-shirt pushing the door of the Bean Bag Bohemia, the trendy café where the young Durban has a glass in front of her, listening to funk. Charlene moved to Durban at age 17, when, after a victory in the Junior Championship in South Africa in 1992-1993, it became clear that her high school in Benoni, 600 kilometers farther to the west, would no longer enable her to progress to make her equal or the greatest. Charlene's father had began monitoring the training of his daughter himself, Charlene, and then chose the best coach: Graham Hill.
Durban is the second largest port in the country, it is also a paradise for those who chose to make use of her water element. From the skyscrapers that line the coast, the white sandy beaches situated out of sight. The warm waters of the Indian Ocean are warmed by the Agulhas Current and protected by shark nets fortresses. Here, we have always seen the world on the beach. Swimsuits in all colors and happy faces. But the swimming version of Charlene has nothing to do with fun. She turns her back to the sea. It is in the Pinetown sports complex that Charlene "works" throughout the year, for the past thirteen years. "She has established an iron discipline," agrees the demanding Graham Hill. Tonight, in any case, the sport has provided an entertaining evening with two of her friends, one was promoted to "agent", responsible for removing undesirable. It is 9:00, the champion passes before me, first settled at the bar with her friends. Then the three blondes who no pays particular attention to head towards the restaurant dining area, at first. One of the most popular "spots" in the city. I will wait for Charlene to finish her dinner ... Finally, I get up and introduce myself. Charlene kissed me warmly. It seemed that she did not expect me. France ... Does the country make her dream already? Then I brought with me the issue of Paris Match dated two weeks ago. She discovers the face and the interview with Nelson Mandela. But I must accept the rules of the game.
The young woman is warm, spontaneous, distance is not natural for her. She is the type to simply respond to questions. Yet it stands on her guard, and says not a word about the prince to whose side she appeared publicly at Turin. But she is quite ready to talk about the former president who she reveres like a wise man and for whom she continues to want to win medals, because she remains above all a pioneer, making the ideal of building a country steeped in dreams. Charlene may well have played for Monaco, this winter is for South Africa that she wants to win. Win? Can you imagine what that means: training morning and evening at five to six hours a day. More gymnastics. More monastic life. So in most cases can be summarized as the distractions from sports news on television. I asked her what does she reads now. "You do not think, you believe that I have nothing else to do? "And shopping? Looks like I made a rude comment. Certainly, speaking sports and humanitarian, as it is serious when swimming after the victories. But how, with words so reasonable, tell the charm that emanates from a young woman who just put a little gloss on her lips and a touch of mascara on her eyelashes? Charlene loves people, nature, sport. And that no one can hide it. Above all, she believes in that kind of truth that is measured by stop watches. And if so naive, ultimately, was a weapon? Charlene has other strengths. She is smiling and welcoming. And pretty. An Agnes today that her passion for swimming would have protected the world, until the fate of flushes in a pool, a reminder that Monaco is a rock, and that the rocks have always needed sirens .
"I LOVE CHILDREN. I LIKE TO TRAVELIN EUROPE. I LOVE ITALY, FRANCE AND MONACO "
Paris Match. Vous are a swimming champion, ranked among the top five swimmers in the world in 2000.Where did this passion come from? Charlene Wittstock. My mother was a high diver and trained constantly in sight of the Olympics. I grew up near a swimming pool. I learned to swim at age 3, and at 8 years old I discovered a real passion for this sport. I wanted to be successful, win competitions and be selected for the Olympics. I was entirely focused on this goal. Yet, I was not among the best. But, I felt that water was my world.
The dream took shape at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. What qualities have you developed to attain your goal? Discipline, determination and concentration. I lived, ate, breathed, slept only for my passion. At school, my grades were of little importance, only cared about the sport. When you swim, you only think of the present moment. Even today, I'm like that.
Does the passion sometimes suffer? No, because you know that even an embarrassing failure can allow you to move forward. The key is to step changes. I was proud when I won my first medal, but I knew immediately that I had to climb a new step, making this humble face to success. 'Today, during my workouts, I feel I'm still growing. And it's wonderful to be tested and to her potential.
In Durban, you have returned to training for selection for the Beijing Games in 2008. It ‘s Nelson Mandela who personally encouraged you ... In January 2005, in a London restaurant, a friend introduced him to me. I was going through a difficult time in which a shoulder injury prevented me from swimming. I was wondering about the future. I was a bit lost. Even though deep down I knew that I would never abandon the competition. But it is this encounter with this man so wise that totally inspired me. Yet, he just said: "Go to the end of your possibilities, nothing should ever stop you."
You must be motivated more than ever ... Nelson is like a grandfather to me, reassuring and loving. In his presence, I felt happy, serene, totally at peace and goodness emanates from him. I would like that he be proud of me, he who is very proud of his country today. He is a man so precious to Africa South, he has changed so much for all of us I want to make him the gift. Also, I have to train twice as hard.
Especially for two years, from 2003 to 2005, you disappeared from the circuit. What happened? I became seriously ill during the world championships in Moscow in 2003. Poisoned by spoiled food. I prayed not to die in Moscow. The horror. The virus then attacked my immune system because no doctor, whether Canadian Australian or American, was not able to make the correct diagnosis, while still giving me treatment. Finally, I returned to Johannesburg to be near my parents and a doctor treated me after finding the nature of my affection.
Are you close to your parents? I took my life in my own hands very early on, leaving home at 17 to rejoin Durban and Graham Hill, one of the best coaches in South Africa. I wanted to be on top in my field and travel around the world. My parents encouraged me. They have always supported me. Mon father even trained me well for a while. With me, they did what they should have done: help me to be the possible best. They never put pressure on me. That is the best way for a child to succeed. I try to to the same with disadvantaged children when I volunteer to teach them to swim.
What do you tell them? I told the children: "If you love what you do, you can achieve the goals you've set by putting all your energy, your whole soul." I want to be a role model for these children, to show them how to become a champion, to give them a little education and determination. At 8, I would have loved if an Olympic swimmer came to me and told me, "The most important thing is not the time it takes to be on top, but to try to get there. Beat yourself." But few athletes engage with others, because the competition, at some level, demands a lot of preparation time.
This is not your case? I love children. They make me happy. I love to detect their potential, imagine their future. I am very proud of the children of Africa who all have a great thirst for knowledge. And since we are a third world nation, we are not present in the sport for ten years. So I want to push them to become champions in their turn and continue to represent our nation in the world.
Is sports the best way to abolish the differences? Sports, it is the celebration of humanity. We can fight, win or lose in peace. Unlike war, it puts his energy into a constructive battle. The violence mainly comes from the lack of education of children who grow up in street. This is what I would like to change a little change, including, for the sport, meaning to their lives. Motivated, a child won’t stop speaking for himself. Then, let him learn at their own pace. That's what I will do when I stop competing. I will also try to teach adults how to coach children.
In addition to your commitment, what is your view on life? Who are you, how do you live? I am an open and positive person. When I have time I try to meet people of all races, religions, colors, and feel good with them. I also love to travel in Europe ... I love Italy, France and the French, like Monaco, Spain ... We live in a world that can be wonderful, where people can afford to appreciate the little things in life, those who can change a day in many moments of happiness ...
