Here's unsolicited advice, KSA:
1) let Ethiopian migrant workers in centres go home 2) stop listening to Jared Kushner, and more to family 3) enter into diplomacy with China to help the Muslim minority, and take an interest in Rohingya. 4) address the Khashoggi Affair by releasing bloggers and vocal opposition, and banish them if you must 5) deal directly with Iran over Yemen, foreign minister to foreign minister.
Then things will improve.

King Salman has entered the hospital. Meanwhile, I missed this interview, earlier. I fully agree about Israel, but on the US-Saudi relationship, there are glaring oversights. First, the land grabs never stopped under Trump either and the failure of the accords is imputable to Kushner & co, as well. Not to be disrespectful, but Prince Turki overlooks that the US system is different; that the American electorate has to be considered in the US system. In the pre-Biden years, events stemming from KSA both in Trump campaign fundraising and attacks(!!) on journalism made a majority of US voters weary and the president has to tailor his policies to general consensus. As per regional conflicts, the people in the democracy were appalled - among other things less to do with KSA - but here, by the collateral damage of events in Yemen which at last seems to be on better course through political vs military effort. That is great. However, the appearance of interfering to elect Trump again by pre-gifting Kushner with billions of dollars, or the oil holdout as innocent Ukrainians die, will not bring on board the American public and neither those who see it as shifting the victimization now to Ukrainians. The war in Ukraine is indeed a good point of reference to illustrate a double standard with Israel. That's exactly right. In the equation though, always seems to be too much blood. That's the problem. www.arabnews.com/node/2074216/saudi-arabia

What makes no sense is why bring up the Irak invasion - effected under a Republican government and continue to angle for a future Republican administration !? 🤦🏻♀️ Does it mean you like that kind of stuff if you keep encouraging the same warmongering party? Please, someone explain to me how this works. Smh.

I wonder where KSA would be, had it not been for Well no. 7. Or how it still would be here, were it not for others putting out fires in the region or supplying defense. There's not one person with a pair big enough over there to fight their own fights or to call out serious bad behaviour even when they're kidnapped and shaken down (!?!). But plenty of them to bitch at the West for how they try. At least we try. I think the riches have made men into passive-agressive pussies. Good for stirring trouble with other administrations or as we will one day find out - coordinate to start wars in innocent countries. Why? Just for more cash. Because they burn it faster than oil. www.reuters.com/business/energy/saudi-arabia-rejects-statements-critical-opec-oil-cut-2022-10-12/

Continuing on that popularity trend 🙊, congratulations to the Saudi soccer team (who, it must be said, was coached by a French expert) on their spectacular win yesterday at the World Cup 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Replaying the "greatest hits" - arms deal, normalization, Iran!, Arab funding of post-genocide reconstruction, *elections - augmented by that carrot floated by the UK & US: recognition of the Palestinian state aka "political horizon"...
I guess this is still the Jared Kushner ghouls' pathway:
Don't let the sounds of people dying stop you!
