This thread is dedicated to not only Paris Match's past and current articles proclaiming Albert and Charlene's relationship as a great fairy tale love story, but also your opinions on Paris Match's style of reporting on this couple and its reporters' relationship with the palace, Albert and especially Charlene. As Charlene's ally since February 2006, Bunte wrote hundreds of articles promoting Charlene as the next Princess of Monaco and begging Albert to marry her. However, nearly every article Paris Match has written about Albert and Charlene has maintained that Charlene is Monaco's fairy tale Princess sharing a fairy tale love story with her Prince Albert. I posted Charlene's first Paris Match interview where Paris Match interviews Charlene in Durban South Africa soon as she left Turin. This interview was published two weeks after Paris Match already did a cover story on the fairy tale couple at Turin. 16 February 2006: "Albert Declares His Love for Charlene"This week, Paris Match (with four reporters) has dedicated 32 pages to Charlene and the wedding with subtitles: "The Fairy tale of a Young South African" and "The Romance of the Principauté"

This girl is so arrogant and full of herself, and there is no one that does not speak to that part of her personality somewhere, yet how do all these photo-ops portray her? She always strikes a pose of superiority and arrogance? How did the Tattler magazine describe how the Monegasque feel about her? Thar's right, very much as she appears in all of these photo ops--you would think the Palace would "know better" I'm joking of course!

I'm hoping that Paris Match will publish the news about Albert's newest baby before the wedding. How perfect would it be, days before the wedding, just like they published the truth about little Alexander just days before his inauguration.

How perfect would it be, days before the wedding, just like they published the truth about little Alexander just days before his inauguration. Paris Match will never do that to Charlene because Charlene is the beautiful white, tall, thin blue-eyed blond that they revered since DAY 1! Charlene is the essence of what is all good, unlike Nicole who they didn't mind challenging everything about her background - including asking her about her education and employment history - something they have NEVER asked Conlene in six years! Nope, do not expect any negative information from Paris Match that will spoil the fairy tale love story between Albert and Conlene that they have manufactured and have never deviated from. Paris Match has even acted as Charlene's mouth piece when Charlene wanted to give an update about her Olympic Training con job. It was first in published by Paris Match in January 2008 that Conlene had a shoulder injury which will prevent her from going to Beijing. That was the article when Paris Match alo let us know that Charlene reads and basically enjoys everything that Grace did.

Don't forget that Paris Match is owned by a Sarkozy friend. They won't publish anything befor they have checked back with him. If Sarkozy wants sth of Albert, he could use this to get it. ANd he would.

C;ear;y Albert is way over his head.

As usual, Paris Match runs to the defense of the fairy tale of a happy and in love couple. Paris Match provides quotes and information from one of Charlene's friends - which is mostly Donatella or Isabell (leaning towards Donatella). Honestly, I now do not see a big deal with Charlene and Albert sleeping in separate hotels for two days because they have lived like this for six years - Charlene doing her own thing, Albert doing his own thing and coming together for the photos opp. Everything about them is old news now because hey have done it all starting in 2006 with Charlene playing the part of Princess of Monaco. There is nothing SPECIAL about them, their relationship nor their reign. In the process they have made Monaco into nothing special! Besides, Charlene didn't care what Albert did in South Africa because she took with her something that gives her more please than anything - wedding photos of herself taken by Patrick Demarchelier (Albert cannot top any orgasm that she receives from drooling over her victory photos). More fairy tale happily in love bullshit from Paris Match (I tried to better the Google translation as much as I could):
ALBERT AND CHARLENE, THE IN LOVE TEAMMATES For their honeymoon in South Africa, the Prince and Princess married private happiness and public bonds
by Ghislaine Ribeyre Friday, July 22, 2011
It's her celebration to her. She wanted the less formal and more relaxed as possible. After two days of ceremonies, pomp and pageantry in Monaco, Princess Charlene - since that is how it is now called - dreamed of this reception in her native country, on Thursday, July 7. No ceremonial service at the table, but a buffet of 42 dishes, including the provision of Bunny Chow, bread stuffed with very spicy curry, a Durban "fast food" specialty, and Malva Pudding, a South Africa dessert that Charlene loves. For music, a local jazz singer, Natalie Rungan. And a guest list which reflects her old and new life. Under the chandeliers of the "Pearl Room" of the Oyster Box Hotel, overlooking the Indian Ocean, Prince Frederik of Denmark meets Charlene’s Australian cousins. Politicians like Jeffrey Radebe, of South Africa’s Minister of Justice, alongside former teammates of the swimmer, a grandson of Mandela and Princess Anne ... President Zuma, absent, sent two of his four wives. The assembly is much more "rainbow in the sky" than in Monaco. Yes, Charlene did not do a speech at her wedding, she takes this time to speak, without notes, her husband at her side. She talks about her arrival in Durban, alone, when she was barely 18 years, the welcome and support she received, her friends, her attachment to her country. "I hope to be a good ambassador for South Africa," she promises. Before bursting out laughing: "You have to stop, or I will talk for three hours! "
Some only see marriage as chains. For Albert and Charlene, on the contrary, more freedom. To be themselves, to go their separate ways to better meet, to perform their official duties in order to better disappear ... then when they fly to South Africa, some already imagine them hand-in-hand, walking along a deserted beach. The couple must actually follow a set program for many years, with two priorities: the humanitarian for her (she prepares for several months a meeting with Desmond Tutu, a symbol of the anti-apartheid struggle and Nobel Peace Prize winner) and the Olympics for him, with an IOC meeting in Durban from July 4 to 9. It is even because of this meeting that the engaged couple had changed the date of their marriage ceremony, originally scheduled for July 8 and 9, had been moved a week earlier so that IOC members could attend, and allow Albert to go to Durban.
Vacation and honeymoon would wait for a few days. Already in Monaco, the marriage had lasted another day: Sunday, July 3, after the religious ceremony, Albert and Charlene received their private guests (family, close friends and royal families) for a brunch in the palace gardens. The royals loved the "Shipwreck" atmosphere, tables on the lawn and buffet under a canopy of white cloth - with dishes prepared by Alain Ducasse, nonetheless. In the evening, the couple wanted to meet at the Fairmont Hotel, for a thank-you cocktail, to all those who participated in organizing the wedding, volunteer drivers through the security men. When they finally flew to South Africa, Charlene brings in her luggage a CD of photos of the ceremony taken by renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier: they have not yet had time to choose those who will become the official images ...
DESMOND TUTU MADE AN EXCEPTION TO MEET THE PRINCESS In Durban, their moments alone together are rare. On Tuesday, July 5, President Zuma leaves them the opportunity by making them wait two hours before receiving them. The prince, himself a little punctual, found stronger than her ... Wednesday night before the big night, the couple escapes for dinner with Charlene’s family in a restaurant near the hotel. But it is beyond question, for Albert, to miss a single IOC meeting, which shall designate the city which will host the 2018 Winter Games. Committee members see arriving one groom well aware of the issues, bombarding the delegations of questions. "We are sorry to have stolen you from your princess" slips a South Korean. To prepare better, the couple thought practically, if not romantic: before the IOC meetings, Albert spent the night at the Hilton Durban, close to the meeting, while Charlene stayed with her family and friends at the Oyster Box. A detail that makes a lot of talk in South Africa, where we also heard rumors that suggested tensions with the couple, after a big fight before the wedding. A friend of the newlyweds surprised: "We are no longer in the nineteenth century! Two nights, they have already spent before their marriage, six years they are together, and they spend a lot! In Durban, they were in work mode." Albert is 53 years, Charlene, 33. Both have had other lives, other lovers. Charlene says of Albert that he is "the man of her dreams," but immediately adds: "I respect and I understand him." They have not formed a fusion couple [fusionnel], says a friend of the young woman: "They're in love teammate. Each knows the strengths and weaknesses of the other." Charlene knows to slip away to let her husband spend time with his friends. Albert, meanwhile, understood that instead of cutting Charlene’s roots he had to allow her many opportunities to be herself, out of the spotlight.
On Friday, July 8, Cape Town, simply dressed in a set and a black pea coat, Charlene became patron of the Giving Organisation Trust, a South African foundation which brings together ten NGOs mobilized in the fight against AIDS, protection of the environment and child welfare. Next to her, her friend Bridgette Radebe. Business woman (she is the head of a mining empire), the wife of one of the figures of the ANC, the Justice Minister Jeffrey Radebe, Bridgette is a "relay" of the princess in South Africa. She helped her prepare her interview with Desmond Tutu, at a clinic in the slums of Cape Town. Formally withdrawn from public life, the Archbishop has made an exception to meet Charlene. With a mixture of irony and affection, he congratulated both for her "big heart" and her new title of "Serene Highness". "I'm going to take home with me," jokes the princess. "We will form a mutual admiration society," retorted, laughing Desmond Tutu. Meanwhile, about twenty kilometers, Albert attended the closing dinner of the meeting of the IOC. The guests were surprised, sotto voce, of the absence of Charlene. The bride and groom are actually about to start their honeymoon. Saturday morning, they parted to an unknown destination. Even Charlene's parents do not know where. The couple is not expected to Monaco before July 20. Albert and Charlene are free to disappear, at last.

Here's another article from Paris match and you really need the vomit icon - if you can actually read the entire thing. I started improving on the Google translation but I stopped after the second paragraph because this article is such a lying piece of crap it makes no sense in fixing the translation. The only truth in this article is the saddest part - Albert believing that BILLIONS of people around the world was going to tune in to watch his wedding live. It's articles like this written by ass-kissers like this writer is why Monaco is the laughing stock of the world and is in deep financial troubles. Albert believed these lunatics and decided not to work on developing and improving his country but instead spent tens of millions of dollars creating the biggest farcical image and a mockery of Monaco - his wedding. I suggest you read the article just to show how moronic Albert and all his palace flunkies are for basing Monaco's future on crap like these articles as an indicator that Charlene, the couple and this wedding would boost Monaco both image wise and financially. From Paris Match:
ALBERT AND CHARLENE, A MODERN TALE
All little girls dream of being princess or mermaid. Charlene has the chance to be both.
By Gonzague Saint Bris - Paris Match Tuesday, July 5, 2011 On Friday night, the entire population of Monaco had gathered on Palace Square to seal with her new a princess a covenant of love. Resplendent in her turquoise suit designed by herself, applauded wildly amid a sea of flags, she threw an oath as the cry "Viva Monaco, I will cherish this moment all my life! " Prince Albert, to the cheers, kissed his wife on the mouth. He recalled that the principality would not exist without these sacred bonds with his people.
At my side, Ines de la Fressange, who came with her daughters Nine and Violet d’Urso, whispered to me: "Not bad to get in a fairy tale with young girls. Seeing all those flags in the windows, all decorated shop windows, I feel like at home of the Empress Sissi. What strikes me, is first the Monegasque’s love for the princely family, then the general appetite for the world's aesthetic and poetic images. Albert told us that three billion people was going to live the wedding live. On her way to her civil wedding, Charlene passed in front of us. I found her magnificient. Before becoming a princess, she was already walking like a queen. Albert, I have known him for thirty-five years. Formerly, he was the little prince, now became Monseigneur and it suits him very well! "
Charlene and Albert is a modern fairy tale that begins in 2000. At the Sydney Olympics, a single long-term, prince of Ecology, Sustainable Development soldier, finds that his eyes can not detach a backstroke. The swimmer's eyes are clear. It comes from far away and it goes fast. He too has seen the country. He just met happiness. Why? Because he had a vision: the young woman who fights the water his powerful arms, the one that will allow him to make love as he wants. Watching swimming, he had a flash: yes, she shoulders to be a princess.
Contemplating Charlene Wittstock, Albert said that too often, people marry to shut, while he, what he needs is a union that just encourage smuggling. He, the Fish, who lives in the sea, falling in love with a swimmer of the sign of Aquarius, guess at his side even life in Monaco could be a trip. He wants to marry, but on one condition: whether to leave, to fly, to be closer to the essential, even if it claims to attend distant horizons. He had time to see how the power borders. He observed how acting Prince Rainier, his father. He, too, though much more sedentary than his son has chosen, in his youth to marry a foreign beauty to feel truly at home ... One way to tie up his soul.
It is rare that accompanies the passion patience. It is rather usual, the mistress of power. But when it works together is wonderful. Today we're at it, Albert is determined. Charlene is the love of his life. Both are ready for the happiness and that is why he looks well, one that allows him to realize his dream: to live in intimacy traveling the globe, make its miniprincipauté a global village, secure South Africa to Cote d'Azur, Monte Carlo docking of Table Mountain, Cape Town dock in the Port Hercule and throw in an ocean pool.
When he was little, her mother called Albi, and Albert I in high school, he was nicknamed "the philosopher".Princess Grace was given to me, she warned me: "Albert is aware of its value, its responsibilities, it will be a great prince. "As for his father, Rainier, he was fond of repeating:" It is better than I was at his age. "Twenty years ago, I asked the Prince Albert:" What are the qualities you expect from your future wife? "The answer then is still relevant and I see how his words were prophetic, as was already a spitting image of Charlene" intelligence, charm, but mostly a lot of humor, an important quality in a situation like ours, where we have many official duties and where the ceremonial aspect is quite heavy. Humor is essential to support this. "
When I was in charge for the Academy of Fine Arts, the promotion of the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, I often met in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a resident of Monaco for a long time, close to the Crown Prince . He always told me: "Knowing the Prince Albert, is to love. "Today, as I will come to him to talk to me about Charlene and Albert is in three scenes he tells me the progress of their love.
In autumn the castle of Marchais, in this Renaissance house built in 1540 by the Earl of Bossut, superintendent of finances of Francis I, in 1854 and acquired by the wife of Prince Charles III of Monaco, Charlene, standing before the High Gothic fireplace the armory, trusts easily. What emerges from this young woman, this friend told me is it gives us the certainty of being faced with someone who loves the prince himself. It has obviously a strong desire to succeed in their relationship to form a happy family. She delivered her most cherished dream: "To find myself before the fireplace with my husband and our children. "
Second stage. In a summer paradise, hotel Pitrizza Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo, in a marine oasis carved in granite on the island, he looks to change: "The love that had grown up, he said was mature. He handled much of her, he was very attentive and body language could not be clearer. Love in all its effervescence. " Third stage. Twenty days ago, the gala of Formula 1 at Sporting, given during the cocktail for guests, the young woman comes to our witness and kisses him spontaneously. He commented: "It remained as simple as the first day and will always be herself. All evening, she and Prince will exchange loving glances. "
SHE REMAINED AS SIMPLE AS THE FIRST DAY AND WILL ALWAYS BE HERSELF Who is Albert of Monaco? A person who simply took his time to make the right choice: a young South African who, curiously, is the sign of Aquarius as his sisters, Princesses Caroline and Stephanie. Monegasques can thank God and Saint Devote, the patron saint of the Principality, that even in his procrastination Albert II has not been seized of this exaggeration of the elasticity of time that could have been be expected from its atavism. Indeed, his grandfather, Louis II, has waited 72 years ago to decide to take a wife ...
Thus, after the first meeting in Sydney, then from the Stade Louis II, it will have to wait five years for the Turin Olympics will be the scene of the revelation of love. February 10, 2006 Finally, the day of the opening ceremony, Prince Albert officially appears in public with the one he has chosen, and all the televisions in the world spread like a golden harvest the image of the siren who abandons himself on the shoulder of the prince.
By being surrounded by great for her marriage by European royalty, Albert thinks of the beautiful friendship that binds to the Prince of Wales, with whom he shares a belief in ecology. Albert appreciate the rich affinities, and that makes him think of the passion for oceanography that bound the King Charles I of Portugal to Prince Albert I of Monaco. He is happy they are there, they called all foreign princes once and once "my cousin" who are mostly friends. The prince had told me how he was sensitive to the European siblings: "I love Charles of England with its different areas of interest of others. I would say I have great respect for these young European royal families. Our schedules are loaded, but we enjoy seeing you again. I know well and I find very nice Crown Prince of Spain, Prince Charles of England, Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and the princes of Lichtenstein and Luxembourg. "As for Charlene, she feels solidarity with Letizia of Spain, Maxima of the Netherlands, and Mette-Marit of Norway who bring new blood and breath of freshness to the old monarchies. Also, Charlene, she enjoys her favorite kings and East Africa. Nelson Mandela is the son of a ruling family of the Xhosa ethnic group. His great-grandfather was king of the Thembu people, and one of the king's son called Mandela is the grandfather of Nelson. She never forget their meeting in January 2005. It was in a restaurant in London. She said: "Nelson told me that I needed to continue the competition, I use my full potential. That nothing should stop me. I want it to be as proud of me. "
This is when the exchange of rings before Mrg Bernard Barsi, Archbishop of Monaco, and facing the silver crucifix from the Palatine Chapel, the lovers, as they looked into his eyes, arise in an instant all issues. Only the stars can answer them. Albert does not hesitate to confide in me, speaking of his sign: "I actually identified with the characteristics of Pisces, a certain sensibility, an artistic sense rather said, but also a great uprightness and fidelity in friendship. The fish usually knows what he does and knows where he goes, even if it feels like to be a little more dreamy and detached. In love too. "
Many astrologers have studied the future of the love between a fish and a March 14 Aquarius January 25. It is the sign that needs to see to love. Both have Venus in Aquarius. When comparing their themes, it falls on a trinity: harmony, complicity and great sensual attraction.
What was the thought of Charlene at the end of the day, just before his wedding night? No doubt there is danger and to be overexposed, but the nature of love is also like poetry by his favorite author for the South African Nadine Gordimer: "At the time a hide and a high- speaker. "

Thanks for my laugh of the morning MyAdia! I just love the imagery. The soap operas would love it except of course they would play up the jealousy angle and have the "heroine" realize as she's looking in the mirror that she has deceived only herself.
