i LOVE all the sugar loonie posts over at HuffingtonPost for the civil wedding and kiss. You can tell who they all are and that they signed up JUST to post on that item. They're the only ones that have been "fanned" once or two or not at all PLUS their posts are all positive and glowing!

PlasticFace - ice-cool - and says almost too fast yes (her head says Yes). Then she says ‘oui’- Stéphanie emotionally and with tears in la salle du trône.
Albert quickly kisses. And again, again au blacon… He says that it is a new start…. LOL. 5000 people… ;D
Why do they get gifts? (painting and sculptor) I thought you had to give to charity.

Wedding or not, the Grimaldis look like they come out of a train wreck.
I did not go to the Jarre show, did not see any of it. I don't participate into any of this clownesque mockery.
This is no longer the Monaco I knew.
Frankly I don't care.

A postcard sky, a setting of operetta. At the terrace of a café, a waitress in red robe continued pigeons with a spray of water; posed as a bumble bee, yachts dandinent on the sea. One of them, the Christina O, was that of Aristote Onassis. Port Hercules escaped the agreements of the show Jean-Michel jar gratifiera rock when will be dark. Expected more than 100,000 people. A group of fans came from the Brazil; a young girl was so red skin it took his idol under the Sun that one would think Indian. Do not underestimate the emotion that captures the Monegasque people. His heart pulses. After all, it is his story is played. The monarchy is perhaps not the most egalitarian plans, but it is the best dream. It has the taste of the wonderful. In mid-afternoon, thousands of people converge towards the place of the Palace to attend the civil union of their sovereign. The show is reserved for them. Some came to family; pups are points on the shoulders of their parents. The police have established white gloves, the sky is a blue sheet. The ceremony takes place in the Hall of the throne, the door is still open. It is the most sumptuous room of the great apartments of State. The soil is in Carrara marble, coated chairs of red silk damask. Prince Albert enters first. A broad smile enlightens her face. Charlene Wittstock closely follows. She wears a blue tailleur-pantalon and appears to move in slow motion. Long and fine: an antelope. Lovely, she sits on an official wheelchair, well right back against the folder. The officer of civil status of the sovereign family, Philippe Narmino, welcomes the couple in French and then in English: "I will add a few words in Monegasque," he said before returning to the official language. One has the impression that the guests hold their breath. The faces are serious, even those of children. Person chahute. The prince displayed a smile énigma tick: "shared passion for sports helped your quick." The Grimaldi dynasty opens to an another world... You bring the freshness of your young years, the novelty of your regard.» Time is running out. At this moment, Charlene looks like Grace Kelly: blond, same nature reserve; in his eyes which is a glimmer of concern that evokes that of actresses of Alfred Hitchcock. It fixed the Registrar as a camera. "The husband must mutually faithful"... Philippe Narmino reads the articles of the civil Code. Children are attentive. "Do you want to take to époux…? The beautiful South Africa turns to an elected official of his heart: «Oui.» "Monseigneur". Oui.» Everything is said. With a resplendent smile, the new Princess looks to her husband; he f*cks him hand. Outside, the crowd applauded. Stéphanie moisten the corner of his eyes with a handkerchief. There are just the face of the Princess Caroline under his large hat. The civil status officer lists the titles of Albert; the pedigree of his wife is more brief. His lips glow, its only jewellery are earrings, discrete. Prince advance to sign the register; Charlene mimics it. In assistance, everyone seems to be enough alone. The new spouses stand, embrace, join the ice show with their guests. The ceremony lasted less than twenty minutes. On the square, a few cries of joy. The princely, consisting of two surnames initial, Monogram appears on giant screens. The Carabinieri band took place on each side of the gate of honour. Young singers smile. The world holds its breath; yet. Flags get agitated as fans. The hymn to the Princess Charlene sounds. On the floor, a window opens. The princely couple appears on the balcony. They dangle the They dangle hands, as the sovereign, by keeping the fingers tightly. She turned to him; They embrace. Other Windows open, the family is expanding. "Hooray!" cries the crowd. Happiness is good child. A few moments later, allowing them on the square, the Mayor delivers brief remarks: "Monsignor, Highness"... and offers the city present new married: a canvas of Kandinsky and a bronze on paper, referred to as child, my love. The eyes of Charlene seeks his spouse; It is found. The skies of Monaco appears without clouds. ;D

There's something about these pictures that I don't like. Those people don't look like a spontaneous crowd. It looks like it was set up, it is not only because those folks are dressed up but there is something in their behavior, faces that makes me believing those people were hired as 'spontaneous Monegasque spectators'

I wish with all my heart that this farse will not last much. I dont wish anybody ill, but for the sake of Monaco, I hope they divorce as soos as possible. Unfortunately, I feel that won´t happen. CW has endure many years ( I don´t think endure is the right word for living in Monaco), and she has proven she is ambitious enough to endure much more, even the worst humilliations, as long as she has her title. Today when I saw Stephanie cry I has the feeling that many of them really believe this was necessary, that they needed a princess, and she was kind of happy for her brother. Or probably she´s very naive. As for Caroline, she had no option but to follow this farse, since their children are not bright enough or are not interested in inheriting the throne. In that case, they really need a heir and this dumb is usuful as long as she can procreate.
One thing that may me prove wrong is that CW is really very unstable emotionally and has a breakdown. But I believe she (or her ambition i should say) are stronger.

Yes, but when reality sets in and "real life goes on" and she learns being rich, famous and a Princess really don't mean so much after all - and she is miserably unhappy - she may just break. Fantasies and dreams almost NEVER live up to ones expectations. The "let down" after all this is going to be very low. And, if she gets pregnant - I don't care how - her hormones will be raging all over the place - before during and after the birth. I don't think she's got the character or spirituality to hold up. If she can't get pregnant - or does and loses the child - it will be even worse for her! And if they use a plastic stomach on her- they'll be caught because everyone will be looking for it! - And someone will find it! Wait and see.

www.rivieratimes.com/index.php/monaco-article/items/its-a-oui-from-monacos-new-princess.htmlIt’s a “oui” from Monaco’s new princess The heat was on – outside the palace over 6,000 Monegasques perspired gently in the hot late afternoon sun as their Sovereign Prince Albert II and the South African Miss Charlene Wittstock sealed their intentions with a simple “oui” inside the plush cool interior of the Throne Room. The simple ceremony attended by 90 guests was over in 20 minutes and relayed to giant screens in the square for the people to watch. Miss Wittstock, dressed in a full-length flowing dress and long-sleeved silk cardigan of an exquisite pale turquoise blue sat straight and composed, listening intently to the speech by registrar and close friend of the Prince, Philippe Narmino, and laughing at his jokes. Both then signed the register, witnessed by the American Chris La Vine, a cousin on his mother Princess Grace’s side, for the Prince and Donatella Knecht de Massy, wife of one of the children of Princess Antoinette, sister to Prince Rainier III, both now deceased. Mrs Knecht de Massy is reported to have become a good friend of the now “Her Serene Highness” Princess Charlene. Behind them the Prince’s younger sister HSH Princess Stéphanie brushed away tears as she watched her beloved brother take what for the Principality is an important step. There is no denying that last week’s “ run-away bride” rumours have unsettled residents in this tiny Principality of 35,000-plus inhabitants. Yet the warmth and emotion behind the speeches given by Mr Narmino and later the city’s Mayor Georges Marsan outside in the square came from the heart, welcoming Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene warmly into the Monegasque family. Flying high in a prime spot right at the front of the palace was the South African flag. Yesterday afternoon, French TV and radio channels were dominated by the latest "DSK" (Dominique Strauss-Kahn) sex-trial revelations. It must have been a blessing in disguise for Monaco officials as the gossip-mongers turned their greedy focus to the unravelling reputation of the unfortunate house maid who has accused France’s favourite politician of serious sexual misconduct. Meanwhile here in Monaco, the Monegasques enjoyed a sumptuous cocktail with Monegasque and South African specialities washed down with champagne, organised by the Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel. Then it was down to the harbour to join the estimated 85,000 people who watched a spectacular electronic music, fireworks and light show by Frenchman Jean-Michel Jarre.

There is not much to find in the media. A lot of repetition of the same. What strikes me is that they keep repeating duration ‘20 minutes’.
I think the divorce will take a little longer? ;D

isn't it pathetic that MC matin is writing about the Monaco wedding and can't help but mention Kate Moss? Sorry but I did not see the British media paying attention to any other wedding then Will and Kate. Goes to show that this is not a wedding but a typical Monaco who has the bigger car, yacht etc thing disgusting. It seems though that all media is running with the yuck wedding kiss www.monacomatin.mc/article/derniere-minute/jean-michel-jarre-a-ambiance-monacoAt least they admit that the 100 000 spectatotors didn't quite make it. they say sth like fear of traffic....how about the truth: lack of interest. I saw a lot of people sitting in the restaurants downstairs, none of them even looked at the fireworks. Not that it was impressive. You really had to go there. I heard a bit of the music on occasion when I went on the balcony, but really didn't sound like worth going.

I had to go to the Museum for the stamps and first day covers this morning. The artist who did the stamps is a long time friend. He was pleased to see me and we had a long talk. Both artists were there for signings so I had all my first day covers and stamps signed. Friend said yesterday saw crowds in the Museum - huge amounts of people. Mostly philatelic specialists. They knew what they were looking for. It happened that Gonzague Saint Bris came to my friends table. We discussed History of France, Vendée, Châteaux, Genealogy, French Monarchy and sculpture. Always such a pleasure to be with educated people. Quite a nice change from all the sports scene, show-biz and show off. A note of importance: the wedding's stamps and arts creators are not part of the invitees. They received no invites to any of the wedding events. It is considered a favour that is being done to them to be chosen as the official artists. I got all the things I needed at the museum, all signed and double stamped. I will put them out in the post on Monday out to my friends far away across the world. These were all requests. They are beautifully made collectibles, they would be even more so if this had been a real wedding - which we all know it is NOT.
