We need to have one for all the "stories" Charlene tells about her accomplishments. I think that is by far the reason her fans had such a fit about our posts on RD.

I figured this would be a thread with her "stories" regarding her swimming. You know, the myth and the truth and whatever.

I'll transcribe it later. The quote in my signature comes from that video. She says she tries to fit swimming into her schedule and talks about what a big event it is (I think...this is all from memory.).

Did Charlene Wittstock really qualified for the Beijiing 2008 Olympics asher official bio on the palace wedding website states? I'm reposting this post that I made on RoyalDish, so some of you have seen it before). From the palace's wedding website (here's a screenshot in case they delete it): "In 2007, she ceased competing after qualifying for the Beijing Olympics." This is just another one of many instance of how much Charlene (with the palace support) is a pathological liar! Someone, anyone, please explain why would they lie about something that can be easily verified as a bold face lie? I think I know why. It's the same reason that Eringer writes in his blog why Albert lies so much: Eringer had begun to see a pattern of lies—lies that nobody ever attempted to call Albert on because he was the Prince. And the more Albert lied, and got away with it, the more comfortable he became with the telling of lies. Charlene has lied about everything concerning her Olympic swan sob story - and like with Albert, no one has ever challenged her claims. So, she now has became more egregious with her lies - now claiming that she actually QUALIFIED for the Beijing Olympics. [shadow=red,left,300]Here are FACTS and not my opinion to show once again that Charlene (with the palace support) is lying. [/shadow] Fact 1. It is a known fact based on the actual list placed on Swimming South official website that Charlene Wittstock was only placed on the National Squad (after a two year absence) and not the Olympic Squad. The official site has removed the 2007 list, but here is the link to a web archive of the site with the original list (yes, pea-brain Charlene - things are still available on the web). Just in case, here are screen shots of Charlene's name on the National Squad, but she's not on the Olympic Squad.
Fact 2. Ok, let's give Charlene the benefit of the doubt and consider the possibility that Charlene is claiming that she QUALIFIED for the Beijing Olympics based on her swimming time in South Africa's National meet on April 12, 2007 and because she reclaimed her National 50m backstroke title because of her 3rd place (the 1st and 2nd place winners were not South Africans). Kudos to Charlene because she did train and compete in the 50m and 100m backstroke events in this meet (although I wouldn't be surprised if she had some artificial help since just three months prior she was almost 3 seconds slower). According to FINA's records and this April 15, 2007 Sunday Tribune article, Charlene placed 3rd in the 50m backstoke with a time of 30:16 seconds (which was the 135th best time of that event for the year 2007). Ironically, South African Chanelle van Wyk has on FINA records a faster time of 30:13 than Charlene in the 50m on this date (April 12, 2007), however Chanelle must have scored this time in the semi-finals. The BIGGEST problem with Charlene perhaps claiming that she QUALIFIED for the Beijing Olympics best on her time at this event is that there was no 50m backstroke event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics! For verification, see official Olympics website with list of 2008 swimming events. So, of course, she couldn’t claim it for an event – that didn’t exist at the Beijing Olympics!
Fact 3. Ok, let's give Charlene the benefit of the doubt and consider the possibility that Charlene is claiming that she QUALIFIED for the Beijing Olympics based on her swimming time in the other event that she competed in the South Africa's National meet on April 14, 2007 – the 100m backstroke. According to FINA records and this Xinhua News Agency article, Charlene placed 3rd in the 100m backstroke with a time of 1:04.19 (Australian Sophie Edington placed 1st with a time of 1:01.93 and Brazilian Fabiola Molina placed 2nd with a time of 1:02.73 – both ladies attended the 2008 Beijing Olympics). Ironically, South African Melissa Corfe has on FINA records a faster time of 1:03:32 than Charlene in the 100m on this date, however Melissa must have scored this time in the semi-finals.
Here’s a web archived of the swimming times need to QUALIFY for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Swimming South Africa required the “A” qualifying time of 1:01.70 for the women’s 100m backstroke, which Charlene’s competition time of 1:04.19 is considerable SLOWER than the QUALIFYING time. So, Charlene CANNOT claim that she QUALIFIED for the 2008 Beijing Olympics based on this time.
Fact 4. Let’s say by chance, the pathological Charlene wants to claim that she qualified for the 100m backstroke based on the much less competitive “B’ Qualifying time of 1:03.86 (even though South Africa required the “A” time). Regardless, Charlene’s time of 1:04.19 still does NOT even QUALIFY for the “B” time. So, can someone, anyone, please explain to me how can the palace’s statement be true that the future Princes Charlene Wittstock of Monaco “ceased competing after qualifying for the Beijing Olympics.” Simple - it is not true - it is just another bold face lie to promote their Princess Charlene.

first of all i won't give trampolina the benefit of the doubt about anything second of all, i never believed she qualified for anything once she found her meal ticket and i don't think she had a serious injury of any kind. if the conwoman and the palace flunkies say the sun rises in the east......i'm gonna check because they are such LIERS JMO

I just saw recent photos of Micheal Phelps and it occurred to me that CW's shoulder's appear to be larger than Phelps. I wonder if we could do a side by side and compare them? I think Phelps is only a little taller than CW (I could be wrong on that one). Any way it might be fun, and also compare her to a couple of other Olympic female swimmers. Just a thought.

Hibou, I'm sure you're right and Charlie's shoulders are bigger than Phelps. It's just another evidence that she's a man pretending to be a woman, a male transvestite ;D.

Thanks Magarita. I hope others read it and start questioning all the other lies that Charlene AND the palace has told about their 'New Grace" and Monaco's flagship. I reposted my proof so the correct link will show (I had moved this from another thread and the link is no longer valid).

fantastic, now lazy journalists have their work done for them. we need to know how to send out a press release to the media, i'm afraid they just stop at the sugah forum. someone told me to get more traffic for a specific word you have to have that word A LOT in the text. if this is true, shouldn't we start putting charlene wittstock in every post? we could have a forum goal to hit the top google link in a year. JUST a thought

But that means to spell out her name correctly in every post and no more new creations or we have to use both proper name and name creation side by side. Could be fun.

wonder if it would work if we all used her real name in a signature but kept our nicknames for the body of the post
like> charlene wittstock is pathetic or whatever pithy little phrase you wanted to put out there. if it was on every post it'd add up quick ;D

Did Charlene Wittstock qualify for the 2008 Olympics?
I can't believe anyone is even asking this - still. The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
Maybe she lied to Stahl and the rest of those idiots, and once again they did not do their homework and simply believed this idiots lies. But this is a an embarrassing no-brainer. This joke is getting funnier by the day.

May be I miss read it. Please read my above - all the information is there. I posted all the information you need to know - including FINA records, Swimming SA records, newspaper articles, and Olympics records to show beyond any doubt that Charlene Lynette Wittsotck did NOT qualify for the Beijing Olympics. I even posted on Eringer's Q&A a query for a google search that will take you to the post above (you cannot post full links to Eringer's blog). What more information do you want?
