Unprecedented than any other royal wedding, Their Serene Highnesses of Monaco, Albert and Charlene actually had official "partners" for their wedding advertised on their palace website. The palace has not stipulated the terms of the partner relationship, especially the cost of the partners services provided to the wedding. Although much of the information has been posted in the Wedding Preparation thread or the several wedding ceremony threads, this thread is dedicated to any information about the official partners of the Monaco Princely Wedding of Albert and Charlene. From the Monaco Princely Palace website:
Partners to the Royal wedding: PERRIER-JOUËT CHAMPAGNE: On both days the receptions will be accompanied by the most prestigious vintages from the Champagne House and a personalised vintage will also be served for this historic event.
MONTBLANC The Prince and Miss Wittstock will sign the registers with a pen specially designed by Montblanc.
Set with precious stones, this unique piece will also display the couple's monogram.
LEXUS The couple have chosen a Lexus LS 600h L for the wedding ceremonies. Its hybrid system makes this car truly exceptional for its low CO2, NOx and particle emissions for its level of performance and comfort.
It is currently undergoing conversion.

I'll start by posting some new information from this luxury blog about the Montblanc pen. I am curious, do you believe that there was some additional monetary benefit to Albert and Charlene from Montblac providing them a $300,00 pen, besides their plan to auction off the pen with the proceeds to be donated to the Princess Grace Foundation? Please read the commentary to the photos - the over-the-top references to romantic, fairy tale, prosperous couple are hilarious! Montblanc comes across as a fool peddling this crap.
Splurge: $300,000 wedding pen by MontblancJULY 10, 2011 On July1, 2011, the Principality of Monaco played host to a fairytale wedding between a Prince and his beautiful fiancée, the future Princess Consort of Monaco. Sealing a union of love, this once in a lifetime occasion requires an instrument of unique beauty and rarity. In celebration of the wedding of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco to Charlene Wittstock, Montblanc has created a one-of-a-kind writing instrument, a Création Privée from the Artisan Atelier Hamburg, which was used by the couple on their wedding day as they make a lifelong commitment to each other. True to its rich heritage, the luxury Maison Montblanc prides itself on being associated with crowning emotional moments in the life of remarkable personalities around the world. The intricate writing instrument crafted for this special occasion is inspired by the architectural elements of the Palais Princier and the Principality Flag, embellished with precious stones and the monogram of the Princely Couple. This gem of European craftsmanship embodies an unforgettable moment, full of romance and emotion. The unique fountain pen is made of solid white gold. The cap and barrel of this masterpiece is engraved with a rhomb-shaped pattern and is set with 161 rubies and 128 diamonds, the colors of the Monegasque State and the Grimaldi coat of arm. The largest stone to adorn the writing instrument is a ruby in rhomb cut set on the clip. The 18K gold nib is engraved with a dove, rings and crown – all meaningful symbols of this state union. As with all its creations, the Montblanc emblem adorns the top of the cap, for this occasion it is in mother-of-pearl reflecting the rarity of this piece and representing the future prosperity of the Princely Couple. At $300,000 it's a splurge, yes indeedy.Profits from the sale of this oh-so-glamorous pen go to the Princess Grace Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the recognition of emerging talent in the realm of theatre, dance, and film.

Wedding Partners? Wow! Very romantic! I just wonder who came up with this! What happened to PA's 80 billion, cannot he pay for his own wedding? Sounds like an SBM affair and not a wedding...

Good point bettina! That was my very first thought, too... I wouldn't take a cent from "wedding partners/ sponsors" if I was in his shoes - there is something like pride and responsibility. (Not even in my shoes - and I'm not materially rich.)

What is the real return for Montblanc???
The Princess Grace Foundation is not enough to justify this sponsorship. Sorry.

And who would want this pen? Talk about bad karma!
Mont Blanc should just write the whole affair off, remove the jewels, and melt it down.

most couple seal their love and committment with wedding bands, not the nondynamic duo they seal their business deal with a pen.
i would be very interested in how much "payoff" these companies came away from the circus generating. i'm thinking it's as big a FAIL like everyting else
mont blanc needs to be careful, the way IMO FatAl is corrupt and probably using these foundations to launder money, either mont blanc is dirty too (JMO) or could be caught up in dirty business it wants no part of, you'd think these corporations would check out who they're doing business with because bad PR reflects on all the ones connected to the ugliness IMO

At this point, I think that "wedding partners" mean that people they might both have slept with in their separate hotels, in their separate honeymoons, LOL!

So class-less!! Next thing you know, we're gonna get reports about how they sold "exclusive photo rights" to some magazine!! Oh wait, that was Vogue... Why not promote some local merchants/vendors?? Surely they need the exposure moreso than these other international corporations!!

What's the difference between this and the hell that Starr Jones got for accepting sponsors for her wedding? The press made a hell of a lot out of that *yes, I watch The View*. Somehow it's okay for a billionaire to accept freebies in exchange for publicity and not another less wealthy person? They are all bought and paid for. Where are the sugars screaming about how Mary and Fred accept too much or Victoria accepting her honeymoon gift?

More about the other partners. When asked if the cost of tghe 'partners" provided items were included in the total cost of the wedding, Michel Roger did not answer that question. The Perrier Jouett wines and champagne are some iof the world's most expensive and i am sure Albert did not include these items in the total cost. This is just one of two photos that the palce released from the dinner gala - and one was Albert and Charlene posing with Perrier-Jouët products. Here is the beginning of Perrier-Jouët May 12, 2011 press release: 12 May 2011 PRESS RELEASE
HSH PRINCE ALBERT II OF MONACO CHOOSES PERRIER-JOUËT CHAMPAGNE FOR HIS WEDDING TO MISS CHARLENE WITTSTOCK
Perrier-Jouët is delighted to announce that His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has chosen Perrier-Jouët as the official champagne for his wedding to Miss Charlene Wittstock, which will take place on 1st and 2nd of July. It is a great honour for Perrier-Jouët to accompany this event of international standing, as a tribute to the historic relationship between the Principality and the champagne House whose iconic Cuvée Belle Epoque was served for 10 years at Monaco's Rose Ball.
Following the wedding ceremony which will take place in the magnificent Courtyard of the Prince’s Palace, some of the House's most prestigious cuvées will accompany the receptions, including the official dinner. A personalised cuvée will be served in honour of this historic event.
Lionel Breton, Chairman & CEO for Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët, commented: "The Perrier-Jouët Champagne House was born of the love union of its founders Pierre Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët 200 years ago. In this special year of the House’s bicentenary, we are proud and delighted to accompany the celebrations for the wedding of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco to Miss Charlene Wittstock with our prestigious Cuvées”.
Since its foundation in 1811, Perrier-Jouët has always been associated with royal events. In 1861, HRH Queen Victoria granted Perrier-Jouët a Royal Warrant of Appointment. She was followed by the Swedish Court and by Leopold I of Belgium. Napoleon II and the Empress of Russia, Marie of Hesse-Darmstadt, were also honoured patrons of the House.
A great tribute to the champagne House, whose remarkable 200 year-heritage has been marked by only seven cellar masters, and is embodied by the iconic Belle Epoque cuvée.
