Here is the July 3, 2011 press release issued by Perrier-Jouët: Celebrating The Monaco Royal Wedding in Style With Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Last week-end, Perrier-Jouët House of Champagne enjoyed the great honour of sharing the official royal wedding celebrations at the marriage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Miss Charlene Wittstock, with its personalised Perrier-Jouët’s iconic prestige cuvee Belle Epoque 2002 served in magnums at the official wedding dinner.
Perrier-Jouët was the official Champagne chosen for the royal wedding reception, held on the beautiful terrace of the Opera Garnier and crowned by a sumptuous dinner by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse and the Monte-Carlo SBM teams. The 500 distinguished guests, including European royalty, Heads of State and other notable personalities, enjoyed the remarkable Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2002 vintage which rounded off the dinner with the delicate white chocolate covered wedding cake and described by Hervé Deschamps as the “ultimate expression of elegance and refinement of Perrier-Jouët distinctive signature style” by Hervé Deschamps, only seventh Cellar Master since the foundation of the House in 1811.
“Perrier-Jouët is greatly honoured to have been chosen for the royal wedding”, said Lionel Breton, Chairman and CEO of Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët. “Having accompanied for many years the Monaco's Rose Ball with Princess Grace Kelly, we are proud to be featured at the Prince Albert’s marriage with our most prestigious champagne”.
The foundation of the House of Champagne Perrier-Jouët in 1811 was itself born of a marriage between its founders Pierre Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët 200 years ago. An elegant and romantic champagne for a fairytale Royal wedding.

Well, lucky for them I am not rich. This wedding sponsoring would be a reason for me not to drink their stuff.

well so they stuck a different sticker on the bottle. Big deal. It's not like the content has been made for the wedding only. anyways they are now pushing stories about what a great success the wedding was for the sponsors. MC Matin runs with the story about the bMW and how well they are selling. Of course they are they are selling them as used cars when they were only used the few meters that weekend. of course they claim that these too have been specificly made for the wedding....yeah like what? anything that you can't get with your new BMW if you are willing to pay extra? if not then it is just a normal used car. Such idiots.

Sorry everyone that my large HQ photos messed up the scrolling on the screen (and i am he one who has to fix others posting and make them links). But, this time I wanted everyone to see and scroll to the right of the photo to view of the "crowd" at the reception for the international media. Monaco bragged since the announcement of the engagement about how 1500 journalists will come and cover the event. That doesn't look like 1500 to me - even if you double the amount for those who might be at the same end as the photographer.

they only threw out a number bigger then the one who followed Kate and Will. They just can't bear to have been upstaged by them and that those 2 got everything right and they got everything wrong.
my guess there were about 300 at the reception and 500 altogether. those holding microphones and fiddling with the lights are not considered journalists. They would need a pass to get access everywhere, but they are not press. MC is so used to forging numbers that they forget that there are people in the real world too. As I have said with the crowd they claim to have had, they probably counted every cat, dog, bird and mosquito that went past MC that weekend. I was here and there wasn't much going on. they had to make the kids from Beausoleil church come to get sth of a crowd. they had to change the route of the car for lack of crowd. They went past the same thin crowd twice. They waved on their way down to a none existing crowd. It was pathetic and they know it. That's why they are trying to fix and manipulate after the facts. Kate did not have to invite the press on her 4th honeymoon to get her picture taken, looking a mess but smiling because the found someone to come film them for a nice check....why don't they just give it a rest and keep a low profile? Sales for the Red cross going bad? No one coming?

I remember that they had it in the supermarket around the corner at the day of the wedding. Didn't see anyone rushing to buy it though

LOL so if you double that then we get to half of what I thought. Honestly does anyone think that if you invite 1500 journalists to an evening event at the beach, that only 10% show up? And if so, what does it tell you of you as a host?

OK, you are right. We expect 150 of 1500 coming. They have to keep the amount high to 1500 because of their old traditional thinking of fame mode. But the journalists will know that there is nothing value of news to report because of all and everything are trashy.

I counted 91 person on that pictures from the the International Media Party at Le Méridien Hotel on June 30 OMG, you counted them - thanks so much Donna! Really, honestly, Monaco and the palace have LIED and is LYING about absolutely every single statistic/number concerning this wedding. When they lie, there are lots of evidence including photos that contradicts what they say and prove that they are lying. I think the last official number of how many journalists that registered to cover the wedding was over 7000 - I posted an article in the wedding prep thread with this number. Even that number was a lie. It is not just Albert's ass that is on the line, but many government officials' asses also. There are dozens of articles in which various government officials made many grandiose predictions about the positive impact that this wedding and Charlene herself was going to have on Monaco. So like Albert, they realize that it is better to lie than admit that they were wrong and made a mistake in investing so much money for this farcical wedding that made Monaco a laughing stiock around the world.

that's what you get when you try getting into someones derriere....s***t
maybe it'll teach them to use their brains next time before going with the guy who has become their chief idiot. I am not sure which of the titles would be more appropriate for Albert: chief commander of idiots or chief idiot in command. I guess it has to be a combination of both. ;D
