And as it was a total fail, Charlene is not appearing any more in any event. I mean, how many events had happened since her last appearence, the pique nique? Albert's been in Georgia, Finland, Russia, it also happened Monaco's Yatch Show. He is bringing Caroline with him everywhere. And Charlene all of sudden is gone. What's going on?
Maybe Al has realized that his marriage was a total fail and that's why he is bringing Caroline and her children everywhere.
I thought that when he wanted to get rid off her, he would do it slowly, not so violently like he is doing it now. She was supposed to be honorary citizen in Beausoleil and Albert went alone. Charlene only appears in Galas at night.
It wouldn't surprise me that we'll get to see her in MND and very sad. She must be knowing that her fairytale is coming to an abrupt, soon end.

There could be two reasons for Wc's absence. First, she is taking hormones to get pregnant and is tired and moody. Also, before the wedding she said that once she becomes princess she will take a long brake...to rest and sleep, i am guessing. Second, the Palace, Albert and PR team had realized that WC and the wedding brought more negative press to Monaco then ever before, so we all know what happens in Hollywood when a star/actress makes a fool of herself...she is sent away for a few months until media forgets about her. Maybe the palace finally realized that less WC is seen in public it is better for Monaco. I think it is best for her to stay at home and try to get pregnant...and fast! ;D

LOL they spent 70 Million to recover 19 Million and only 76% stayed in the country? I really like to make business with these guys who boast that they made great deal for for having paid almost 4 times as much as they gained and even don't get that spending 40 Million on advertising would have set them back less. Not mentioning that Monaco spent 100% of the money and only received 76% of the gain. That means that 24% went to other countries then MC, most likely France. I really think they should teach the Monegasques schoolkids maths that way from now on, so that they will never be able to realize that they have been cheated. So at least if they would have spent 40 Million on positive advertising they might have gotten a better image. These people were willing to spend 70 Million on bad advertising and it keeps on getting worse in time. It is like putting out an advert on the front page of the most important papers saying: do not come to Monaco if you don't want to be considered a plastic bimbo or a crook.

Yes, no idea why I got one that takes you to a different thing. Anyways it seems that they still have no idea about the auction and whether they are really going to cut it up or not. I think that is the most interesting part of the article, apart from the bit that in Frankfurt people have no idea why the carpet is there or that it is the wedding carpet. So much for the worldwide success.

Of course it's extended. How else to feed the their large egos. Actually for a supposed blockbuster headcount is rather small. Check out the difference with that of Kate's dress, and I don't want the sugars whining about more tourists in London because the Riviera has plenty of them --- and what about all those cruise ships that drop anchor, where are all those crowds. TAKE THAT: According to "Süddeutsche Zeitung" www.sueddeutsche.de/sport/der-absturz-des-as-monaco-duengemittel-aus-russland-1.1244693(one of Germany's "serious" daily newspapers -unlike BILD) This year SBM is in the red - for the very first time! "Aber auch die SBM litt unter der Finanzkrise und hat in diesem Jahr erstmals Verluste geschrieben." That's the true economical situation of Monaco in the year of the "Wedding of the century"!!! And the media write about it!!! So to me it seems that SBM did master the financial crisis but obviously not the plastic high school dropout workshy Charlene as Flag Ship of Monaco. Here it is: Monaco... read this and act!

Here is a little article about tourismin MC. They are over the moon about the reservations for easter. They admit that one of the draws is the Davis cup. They also state that the entire region is at about 86%. In MC a few flagship hotels are full, others are at 70%. I suspect they are pretty much around the same level overall as the region. So that means that without the Davis Cup they'd be worse off then the rest. They also say that the first 3 months of this year were bad. They still claim that this is due to the crisis in 2008. Didn't they claim that the flagship would perform a miracle and draw truckloads of tourists to MC? Looks like it isn't working. Not that it would be a surprise to any of us here, but it is nice to know that there is the odd article out there in spite of the controlled press to tell the truth about the huge failure of a PR wedding www.monacomatin.mc/monaco/week-end-de-paques-le-grand-retour-des-italiens.837855.html

Now after the easter weekend, we have an entirely different scenario for the hotels. This one is about Nice and the region, but MC should not be too different. They say that they had 10% less clients then usually around this time. The weather was fairly good, so there should have been business. Especially since up north it was rather wintery. Also Germans, if they don't go skiing, like to go there for easter. And they have the money. They are blaming the crisis in Italy, but they keep forgetting that most Italiens that frequent the region are only coming for the day. And where are the French going? They are better off then Italiens and they like to vacation in France. In any case I believe that they are headed for another low season. People seeking sun, will be going to Greece and SPain, who will probably be very cheap to travel to this year and Germans will also stay true to Italy, which might be cheaper as well, in order to attract tourists; the problem for France and MC is that they are too arrogant to lower their prices. There will be a rude awakening for the GP. I don't know how keen the Russians are on racing, but they seem at present the only ones willing to pay the prices at the cote. I suspect that Italiens will be widely absent this year. They are a large part of the audience and they consume a lot in the restaurants. So there is another major loss ahead. www.monacomatin.mc/derniere-minute/week-end-de-paques-les-italiens-se-font-desirer.839162.html

Here is an article about the realestate with a few numbers about the recent years. If you notice, the number of sales has cut in half these past years. They claim that the prices have gone up, but I assume that it is mostly due to the Russians paying over prize in order to get their foot in. After all it's a Russian, who bought the Saffra appartement...together with the ASM. Interesting is that they avoid saying that the buyers are Russians. They call them New Europe. What they mean is people who made a fortune through not so kosher business...to put it nicely. ANd also they are trying to deflect from the reasons why especially these people are buyers in MC, willing to pay large sums. www.monacomatin.mc/immobilier/limmobilier-en-hausse-de-22-a-monaco.840158.html

I posted a number of pictures of the wedding car in the "Monaco Events" section. I thought they were going to sell the thing after they were done with the wedding but apparently they are keeping it to put on display in various exhibits here and there.

I suspect that they are building up to have their own wedding exhibit tour the world, once the grace exhibit has been flogged to death in the last village willing to receive it....

Another delusional idea - who cares! Only they do! of course. These two are both narcists. In their week minds the world turns around them. That's why everyone is jealous of them too
