Can it get any more sickening than this ... I have a feeling it will. Why does the palace always release their tidbit about their made-for-tv wedding and their Princess Charlene on a Sunday? I guess they are hoping to make news with htis story instead of Eringer's. Good Lord, please give me strength to bare this narcissistic made-for-tv wedding that is a mockery of the institution of marriage. I cannot wait when their Princes Charlene takes them down - they will deserve being the laughing stock of the world. Wedding of Prince Albert II: an anthem for Charlene Wittstock Sunday, April 17, 2011 The Danish Royal house has something like that devoted to Prince the Consort. I think it is called the Prince Henrik March.I have heard it a few times. They are playing it when the Queen and him will appear together on a place in the public events. The palace has re-designed its website to pay tribute to the new flagship of Monaco - their savior Charlene Wittstock. The narcissism of Charlene and the stupidity of Albert and the palace of making the monarchy all about Charlene and this wedding is truly going to come and bite them back in the butt! Charlene's photos are displayed everywhere with Albert. No other monarchy has done this before a wedding (for good reason - it's TACKY!). Not one! Charlene just cannot wait and she has done everything to make sure her name is TOTALLY ingrained as already Princess Charlene of Monaco so that there is no turning back. There is a thing called karma and Charlene will meet hers - she will receive exactly what she put out. I guess not that many people were going to the special wedding website so they decided to create another on the palace main website.

On another note - no dowry this time right? Anyway what could she contribute with no real job or wealthy parents.....Grace's parents are probably spinning in their graves over this whole thing.

I think she may be in a bit of a panic. She knows this PR plan isn't working and she's doing exactly what you said she's doing - she making it almost impossible for PA to back out now. He still can though - but it'll take balls on his part and I doubt he has any.

Wait, there is a dowry. It's the old shirt that the Wittstock family gave him. His "war" shirt. Of course, there is the sacrifice of their integrity and their daughter and her plastic barbie face to go along with it.
It's not as classy as the 2 million dowry the Kelly family paid (half of which Grace paid HERSELF from money she EARNED at work) or the trip for the whole family to go to the wedding and arrive in Grace's new country on the cruise ship (Catholics don't live together before marriage).
Grace = Natural beauty, Classy, EARNED elegance Charlene=Plastic surgery, Crass, living off Albert and acting trashy.

Well, Charlene's Monaco Matin flunkie, Cedric, wrote a story about the 55th anniversary of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace wedding. There's a video of the summary of the events during the wedding celebrations. Of course, he wants to try to recreate another fairytale with Albert and Charlene. Cedric and the palace are deluded if they think that the crowd will be as excited about Charlene as they were about Grace. even with the rent-a-crowd they had to invite for this wedding, their attempt at rereatng that magic 55 years ago will be another big FLOP. Wedding Rainier III and Grace Kelly ... it was 55 years ago Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Monaco's heart awoke Celebrate April 19, 1956. In the aftermath of festive ceremonies on Thursday in the middle of the twentieth century would become a historic day for the country.Marked by religious marriage of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly. "Happy Days of the Principality," headline that day Nice-Matin. It was 55 years ago. Day to day. In this year 2011, within three months of the royal wedding of Albert II and Charlene Wittstock who prepares, this anniversary is a special resonance. A symbol.
This day in history, it remains in Cinemascope images that are entered into the legend. Those of a famous Hollywood actress marrying a prince in a princess dress (of course) made up in 46 meters and 90 meters of taffeta tulle. In filmed reports of the era, archived by the INA (see on our website http://www.monacomatin.mc), we find the incredible jubilation that was the beating heart of the principality in the spring of 1956. Monegasques, cheering the royal couple during popular events. And splendor of a protocol set like clockwork.
The future princess had arrived a few days earlier in the principality after crossing the Atlantic with 76 wedding guests on board the Constitution. The baggage of the actress, reads in Paris-Match of the time, contained "a bunch estimated at 5 million francs, of which twenty pairs of shoes." In the weekly, journalists, emphasized, in the first pictures of Grace Kelly Prince Rainier III recovering in the principality, "the Protocol prohibits the kiss."
"A bright future" Among the guests this royal wedding: Aristotle Onassis, the Aga Khan and the Begum, the actress Ava Gardner ... and young Francois Mitterand, the then Minister of Justice of the French government. The stories of the day noted the presence of forty diplomats, came with an armful of gifts for newlyweds ... The most outrageous? Probably a Rolls Royce estimated at 30 million francs. Monegasques, they had offered their new princess, an ornament (necklace, brooch, bracelet and ring) composed of 800 diamonds, 70 rubies and had sought 14,000 hours of work. Good omen, Monsignor Marella, Apostolic Nuncio representing Pope Pius XII read that day a message to the newlyweds assuring them "everything that allows us to speculate for your teen home a happy future."
Less formal in Nice-Matin of April 20, 1956, we read "off a balcony in the building of National Council, Jean Cocteau, among a bundle of flags of Monaco and the U.S. did for his neighbors commented on a story of sequence of events. He is there because he would not say it to everyone as fractions. And here he is well placed to see the arrival of guests crammed into the grand staircase. "
"We want Grace" Everywhere in the media of the time, it tells the grand receptions held in the principality to celebrate the event. The images are shown of the crowd cheering the bride and groom came in the portion of their procession through the streets of the Principality. The journalists face the same in jubilation, cheering from the American tourists as "their" princess, with great fanfare of "We want Grace chanted, hoping to cross the silhouette of a new star the Rock.
The most popular festivals remain the garden party held on April 18 after the civil marriage, the Princely Palace Monaco ... for all left with a souvenir glass that day. Funny story! Maybe a bit less for a doctor's Boulevard des Moulins. In the paper, it is said that a burglary took place in broad daylight, in this specialist who attended the garden party given by the bride and groom. Five paintings by masters signed by Rubens and Van Dyck were stolen, worth 33,500 francs.
A slight cloud in the fairy tale marriage with the magic half a century later, remains intact in the principality.
The newlyweds, Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III, photographed in their palace on their wedding day, April 19, 1956 ... Exactly 55 years ago.

Princess Charlene Anthem?? ?? LOOOOL hahahahahha, omg that is ridiculous. When i think they can't make things more ridiculous, they top themselves every f*ucking time. Now the Princess has her own anthem? It will be soo pathetic... i have a bad feeling that Albert will realize that that anthem was a waste of time, writing it and performing it. Just wait and see. IMO nobody in Monaco really expected Stupid Al to marry his douche bag girlfriend, so they pretty much ignore her all this time hoping that eventually she will disappear. Now that they see she is going to be THE Boss's wife, they panicked and realized they have to catch up with butt kissing WC's flat ass. The engagement pictures are in the shop windows, bakers are baking "Charlene's loaf", butchers are advertising "Charlene's mix" (ground meat made of leftovers from all kinds of meat;beef, pork, lamb, chicken...)...no wonder someone came with an anthem idea. IMO this is just a beginning. Watch for the major butt kissing and glorifying Charlene- the Saviour of Monaco! Poor Monegasque and Monaco citizens, they know if they don't kiss up to her they might be jeopardizing their future in Monaco. One wrong word and your business is closed down and you lose your citizenship.

Well, i still hope something big happens before or after the wedding....i wonder if Monaco deserves this? Well, not the country but the citizens?

The wedding preparation to the palace staff means longer days than usual and no vacation for one year.

Interesting how almost all of the pix of CW on that website are the new enhanced version of her face! Just one swimming pic and none of the pre-nose job ones...And of course all are taken at parties or receptions. Not one pic there of her doing something useful like "working". Attending parties and posing to pictures is Charlene's 'job' description.

Exclusive interviews with Monsignor Bernard Barsi and Philippe Narmino
Posted Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 5:36 p.m. Monsignor Barsi, Archbishop of Monaco will unite the sovereign and his fiancee Olivier Ogeron Monsignor Bernard Barsi: "For me it's a first!" "I n addition to the political and media princely marriage, the approach of Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock is primarily spiritual. "In the archdiocese, a few hundred meters from the Palace of Monaco, Monsignor Bernard Barsi prepared, step by step, the highlight of July 2: the religious ceremony. Have you started preparing for the ceremony? I first prepared the wedding with the bride and groom at the doctrinal and spiritual. This work includes two parts: one on the meaning of Christian marriage and Catholic, the other on the ceremony itself. A wedding should not it be celebrated in a "house of god"? It must be done in a parish church (because there must have records of marriage) or any other place deemed worthy by the bishop. So there is no obstacle that should be celebrated the ceremony in the courtyard of the Palace. The cathedral could she really not accommodate all guests of the couple? The cathedral can accommodate 500 people. The king wanted a ceremony that may involve as many. Thus, the Palace Square and the courtyard will become an open-air cathedral where the Monegasques and their guests can commune with the same fervor. You solicit the support of foreign priests in the Diocese of Monaco? Like every religious celebration in Monaco, will gather around me 25 priests and representatives of other faiths. Will also help the young singers of the Master of Monaco, the chorus of the Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra musicians. Are you nervous? This is not a show. Beyond the media side, we hope that the internal character, deep and joyful this Christian journey is perceived. It is an important religious event. For me, specifically, the celebration of a royal wedding is a first, an honor and a blessing. www.nicematin.com/media_nicematin/imagecache/article-taille-normale-nm/narmino__Small_.jpg [/img] Philippe Narmino: "A magic moment" As president of the State Council, Philippe Narmino is registrar of the royal family. It is the first Monacan to hold this position since 2005 and the Franco-Monegasque renewed. Also for the first is a Monegasque who will have the honor to celebrate a royal wedding. Philippe Narmino married Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock in a civil ceremony on July 1 to 17 hours. How the ceremony will be July 1, she celebrated? The ceremony should follow the guidance of the Civil Code, and does not distinguish marriages in the principality. I will proceed with the civil union of the spouses, which prevails in terms of criminal law. Before men, that this union matters. I will thus receive the free consent of spouses if they would like to take a husband and wife and so pronounce them united as the saying goes. This is traditionally at the Palace that the princes of Monaco marry? The wedding will be celebrated in the throne room, which holds about 80 people, including witnesses married. On 1 July, will be mainly family and friends of the newlyweds. And some very prominent figures in the principality. An inlaid marble table and will be used. The same used at the Palace for special occasions for many years. The deed will then be recorded in a register of vital statistics specific to the royal family and kept in the Palace. For the charm, the act will be completed by hand, by a calligrapher. It should be noted that the gates of the Palace will open to show advertising and symbolize that the union is for all to see. And Monaco will follow the ceremony on giant screens instead. It is important that this moment is shared by the population. Monegasques have a few meters, because everyone can not enter, it's a good idea. This is for you, first? Indeed, this is the first time I officer and married couples. Even if a few years ago, a young secretary of the State Council, I attended the then President for weddings of Princess Antoinette John Gilpin in 1983. As one of Princess Caroline with Prince Ernst August of Hanover in 1999. Besides the ceremonial marriage, I will speak with custom words to mark the importance of this celebration and joy as each other share. I also pass on some personal feelings on behalf of Monaco. Personally, I have the great honor of working with Prince Albert II, particularly within the Monegasque Red Cross. This will be an emotional moment, not only for the newlyweds. Is this the end of this ceremony that Charlene Wittstock become Princess of Monaco? Absolutely, when it rises and I uttered the phrase "I now pronounce you united by ties of marriage, she will be Princess of Monaco. It will be a magical moment, a transformation. Marking its entry into the Grimaldi family.
