It´s mostly the little tabloid in Germany with them on the cover. I remember the mass of Kate&Will magazines, and was also surprised about some serious magazines who had special issues. Plus I didn´t saw a Bild special edition, or did I missed something here? K&W had one.

Gala Honeymoon Cover, 13 July 2011: Angry, She finally denies all the rumors. Charlene: "They wanted to sabotage our wedding." "THEY wanted to sabotage our wedding." I hate when people use straw men to deflect blame or responsibility from themselves. Don't be mysterious, Charlene, name names. Who wanted to sabotage your wedding? She wants to be a victim and blame unnamed people because few people have fallen for her scam. Name names! I want to know who these horrible people are! What a crock!

Voici didn't even choose a wedding photo for their cover on neither the wedding nor the honeymoon. But, notice the photos that they did choose. VoiciWedding Cover, 4 July 2011: "They saved their wedding but... Charlene Wittstock: the rumor that ruins everything" VoiciHoneymoon Cover, 18 July 2011: "Revelations of a failed honeymoon. Charlene, she does not want to let it go ..."

Bern is angry that the Spanish and Greek royals snubbed the wedding. Again, revenge Monaco style. He's acting as the palace mouth piece and losing his "historian" credentials (if he ever had them) fast. The Spanish royals didn't attend because ALBERT chose to invite a pretender to the throne of France who claims to be the head of the house of de Bourbon (The Spanish Royals). He invited him with the title that belongs to the King. When ALBERT did that, everyone predicted that there would be no attendance by the Spanish royals. The Palace knew this. Instead of admitting it, they acted like the King of Spain was going to attend (even on the day before the wedding) so that no one would notice. The Greek royals didn't attend because of their solidarity with the Spanish royals. Bern didn't get to claim that "all the royal houses" were in attendance so he tries to take a smack at a legitimate royal. This will backfire on the palace. The real royals are all closely related. They'll close ranks so fast and cut out Albert (who is a much more distant relation) that Charlene's head will spin. Will he ever comment on Charlene's surgeries? The pull lines on her eyes, the "new lips" that won't close over her "new teeth"? Of course not! He's PAID by the palace. He's on Charlene's payroll like some of the bloggers online. We know how this will end. Pop the popcorn and enjoy the show.

Wow, thanks for the background info Mr. Plowfan! doesn't Bern sound like the perfect type of person that surrounds, defends and support Charlene - petty and full of themselves. The palace really did publish that the King of Spain will attend even on the day of the wedding - which is typical trashy lying and low-class behavior for them. It's amazing what the Monaco palace has become under the era of Albert and Charlene.

^Interesting info, mrplowfan! I knew that the King of Spain has some disputes with others over use of titles, but I didn't know this about the invitees to the wedding (of the century). I thought Albert was a stickler for protocol?

I don't think that he is hitting on Leticia. It says: criticized for everything, how she is coping...

I don't think that he is hitting on Leticia. It says: criticized for everything, how she is coping... Thanks Paca! My bad, trying to read the words in English and not French. I should have known that an ass-kisser like Bern wouldn't dare criticize the Spanish royal family. I guess I lapse and thought Bern was Charlene's main media flunkie the creepy Bunte guy who DOES criticize Leti for plastic surgery and even critique Kate - but only praise and promote Conlene.

Here are the two royal magazines whose covers they were on. I ws surprised that Royauté magazine did not follow the fairy tale script! Royauté, Wedding Cover, 12 July 2011: "Charlene and Albert married. And After? After a grand ceremony Monaco hopes a happy couple. The Rumor which embarrassed the ceremony."Royals Wedding Cover, 7 July 2011: "The Fairy wedding of Albert and Charlene"

Excluding the Monaco news magazines (no freedom of press there), VSD is the only serious news magazine that actually put Albert and Charlene on their covers during their wedding, which is rather sad for a head of state. VSD covers are scathing - the definitely do not sell the fairy tale. VSD, Wedding Cover, 7 July 2011: "Exclusive: How the French police prevented her from running away. CHARLENE: THE PRISONER OF MONACO"VSD, Honeymoon Cover, 22 July 2011: "Albert and Charlene: All the fiasco of their honeymoon"

Just wanted to remind everyone that Zara Phillips is getting married this weekend. It would be fun to compare her wedding to Albert and Charlene's. So this makes it the OTHER royal wedding.

Of course Monaco's local magazines placed Albert and Charlene on their covers - and not dare to say anything negative. La Gazette made Charlene the center of attention - but notice no mention of love and fairy tales. La Principaute's cover headline is all about the photos - no mention of the love and fairy tale crap that they promised the entire year leading up to the wedding. La Gazette, July 2011. "PRINCELY WEDDING. Under the sign of tradition and modernity"La Principaute, July-August 2011. "The Wedding in Pictures" This paper, to preserve, provide evidence that the Monaco's wedding has achieved all its goals and beyond. For the bride and groom and of course first of all, because it is their lives that it is. The religious ceremony, held rifleman and dazzling dress, showed the international prestige of Monaco and the Grimaldi, over 40 heads of state and representatives, a record. An extraordinary fashion and history. Fashion Show, held competing with elegance. As we had not seen for ages. Similarly for the parade of history and especially that of the dynasties and families who have made Europe. Far from the bureaucracy and policy, not a duty but a pleasure to memory. Monaco and then responded to the desire of the Sovereign Prince, being a model state and a state model. This wedding has proven that it can be a country proud of its citizens ....

The weekly Monaco Hebdo did a propaganda cover before the wedding and a wedding cover. Monaco Hebdo, 30 June 2011. "They are Marrying" Monaco Hebdo, 7 July 2011.

The photo of them kissing on the cover of La Principaute is gross.
Looks like Albie is trying to swallow an oyster from the shell and Charbucks is trying not to inhale his "old moth-ball/mint toothpaste" odor.

Here's a closer view and it really looks like his nose is up her nose. I ran across a photo where this image was blown up so the writer can make fun of it. i cannot find it now.

In their cover story, the editor of La Principaute wrote these nonsensical editorial about Charlene's tears and the nasty rumors. Yet, he seems to be contradicting himself by saying that the rumors are legitimate. Below is only an excerpt.
EDITORIAL • Tears of the Princess who moved the world by Roberto Volponi RUMOURS • There are two key reading for royal wedding which attracted the eyes of the world on our small principality. Both legitimate, both as respectable. On one side there are those who are still trying to find excuses to discuss alleged scandals, solely on the basis of uncontrolled rumors, often enriched with juicy details of pure fantasy ... For them, everything else is just hypocritical facade to hide these alleged scandals. On the other hand, there are those who reject even the idea that behind a great party to take shape any shameful secrets, and it is only malicious lies, without any basis in fact, fruit the limitless imagination of those who envy Monaco and all that surrounds it. Everyone is free to have views on this subject, to believe what he wants, but all failed to spoil the party of Monaco ...

I didn't know where to post this. MyaDia, if you think this might belong to another thread, please feel free (of course!) to move it there. Monaco Matin is publishing an article about the fake wedding of the Century. Sugary press, of course. Albert donne une princesse à MonacoAre things that bad in the Principality that they have nothing positive to write, except this?!
